TV gives ´Bridgegate´ 17 times
more coverage in one day
than IRS scandal in 6 months

Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 1/10/2014 6:16:16 AM

The Big Three networks, in a frenzy over New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie´s traffic headache dubbed “Bridgegate,” have devoted a whopping 34 minutes and 28 seconds of coverage to the affair in just the last 24 hours. By comparison, that´s 17 times the two minutes, eight seconds devoted to President Obama´s IRS scandal in the last six months, according to an analysis by the Media Research Center. “While routinely burying new stories on the IRS scandal, the media practically fell over themselves to start taking shots at the potential 2016 Republican presidential nominee,” said the conservative media watchdog.

The Lamestreams are just wasting powder taking out Donut Boy. He was never contendah as most conservatives viewed him as another RINO. He would have lost to Shrillary by a larger margin than Romney´s loss to Barry. However it is useful to view the glaring hypocrisy.

I find it a little strange the MSM is taking out their fav.GOP candidate for 2016.What happens now if a real conservative gets the nod.

Christie got a lot of my respect yesterday, standing up there for an hour and a half taking the media´s badgering. Obama would have smeared his spinners all over the airwaes to knock something down.I hope Christie comes out of this being not guilty.

Part of the problem right now is cynicism about the whole political world. We´re so used to seeing Obama lie day after day,it´s rubbing off on all politicians, whether they´re guilty or innocent.

I´m in Christie´s corner until I see hardcore proof he was behind this.It even sounds to me like it could have been a prank that got out of hand.

Christie making some kind of joke about the traffic jam back in Dec,tells me he knew nothing about it.

Everybody losing health coverage right now is arguably a victim of Obama "punishing the enemies".The proof of this is not a single minority complaining about losing or the costs of healthcare.

There´s no question, because it´s obvious, the MSM protects the Left while vilifying the Right.

However, either Christe ordered the closing of the Bridge or his ´close friends´ purposefully did him in. I think the Governor was behind the closing of the bridge, and his close friends were careless: end of story.

Grossly overweight Chris, has the prosecutorial bones, plus the open, easy listening personality rarely found in a public, elected figure. He´s entertaining, fact filled and fascinating. He seems to have managed New Jersey´s mis managed economy in a uniquely responsible way.

So, what´s missing ? Why does this great seeming guy come off like just another likable and accomplished Mitt Romney RINO (besides his frightening hugging of Oama) ?

If only Chris would (1) speak up for freedom, (2) go after Benghazi, illegal aliens, IRS, NSA, gun control, whichever of these that really annoys him and threatens his personal beliefs.

Chris need only watch about an hour of any of Ron Paul´s many YouTubes, a virtual college course on freedom, read one book by Murray Rothbard, and gather together ten or more articles by Tom Sowell.

In one weekend, reviewing these three great intellectuals on the real world of freedom, Chris Christie
could perfect his current RINO cloudiness, and truly help the cause of a free America, which he is currently wasting ! Naturally, knowing his great energy, Chris could continue to learn more about freedom and discover Hayek, Von Mises, Ayn Rand, Hazlitt, Tom Paine, maybe even a few of our Founding Fathers.

Ah, well ... you Christie fans out there can take comfort in the fact that this has happened long before the campaign season really gets underway. By that time, it will be ancient history, and the Great American Public will be agitated by something else, like Grandma being denied any medical care by Obama´s Death Panel, maybe?

It seems to me that the only people with their petticoats in a twist about this are the editors of the NYT, the WAPO, the heads of the "news" departments of NBC, CBS and ABC, plus the six million or so screaming Lefties who inhabit the greater New York area.

I doubt if the rest of the country really gives a flip.

Get this right: Christie is just another surviving political heavy (pardon the pun- not intended). He has survived by playing both sides of the fence. The whole nation is lefty leaning and becoming more-so every single day. So, politicians who want to make it must be lefty, too.

It´s not the RINOs. There is really no such thing as a true conservative these days- such a critter is extinct in the political world we live in now.

This nation is changing into the dregs of what is left behind when a great nation dies.

What is needed, I am so sad to say, is a really, really good war. I thought 9/11 would be it. But, GW botched that all to Hades. It is now in the drain.

We had our last chance at pulling this together. Liberals could have been run out of town, quite easily then. But, not now.

So, do as I do; accept reality, make the most of what we have left and pray.

On Pascua Yakui Indian Reservation, Ariz. — Tribal police chief Michael Valenzuela drove through darkened desert streets, turned into a Circle K convenience store and pointed to the spot beyond the reservation line where his officers used to take the non-Indian men who battered Indian women. “We would literally drive them to the end of the reservation and tell them to beat it,” Valenzuela said. “And hope they didn’t come back that night. North Carolina teachers haven´t had a pay increase in five years. They currently rank among the lowest paid in the country. The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives

As he moves from lobbyists to the golf course, from press conferences to the tanning bed, he remains oblivious to all that is around him. He has power, incredible power, and yet to this day he has no understanding of the election that made it so. Moreover, all around him are astonishing opportunities for him to be an historic figure -- one who could and should be the man who did more than any other single person in turning back the red tide of Obama. It’s all there for Speaker of the House, and yet John Boehner manages to miss

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

It may not be tomorrow, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says "something will happen" to force a Nevada rancher to obey a court order to stop grazing his cattle on federal land and pay his grazing fees. "It´s obvious that you can´t just walk away from this," Reid said in an April 18 interview with a Nevada´s KSNV-TV News 3 program “What’s Your Point?” "You can´t have a law that is -- we´re a nation of laws, not of men and women," he said. (Video) Reid noted that most cattlemen pay their taxes, pay their fees, and follow

The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. She blamed the Obama administration

Joan Eisenstodt didn´t have a stopwatch when she went to see an ear, nose and throat specialist recently, but she is certain the physician was not in the exam room with her for more than three or four minutes. "He looked up my nose, said it was inflamed, told me to see the nurse for a prescription and was gone," said the 66-year-old Washington, D.C., consultant, who was suffering from an acute sinus infection. When she started protesting the doctor´s choice of medication, "He just cut me off totally," she said. "I´ve never been in and out from a visit faster." These days,

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by
