Duck, Duck: A&E Fails
to Kill Its Own Golden Goose
and Some Parrots Get Caught

American Thinker, by Clarice Feldman

So, the kerfuffle instigated by GLAAD (another counterfactual acronym in the pantheon of American interest groups) and carried out by cable network A&E is over. A&E capitulated to the force of public opinion. GLAAD is furious: "Phil Robertson should look African American and gay people in the eyes and hear about the hurtful impact of praising Jim Crow laws and comparing gay people to terrorists," the organization said in a statement. "If dialogue with Phil is not part of next steps then A+E has chosen profits over African American and gay people -- especially its employees and viewers."

This has NOTHING to do with black persons. This is all about the DEPRAVED, yes DEPRAVED, going to hell eternal gays only. IF their lifestyle worked, they´d be happy, but no, they are surely depraved in their minds, souls, spirits and body. They want everyone and everything destroyed thinking that SOMEHOW this will validate their sickness and SOMEHOW THEN they´ll be happy. That´s why I am calling them DEPRAVED.

I´m a CEO. What are my choices for my stock holders?

Gays vs sales and profits
African-Americans vs sales and profits

My fiduciary responsibility to my stock holders mandates sales and profits.

Hey A&E, since GLADD represents the opinion of ´so many´ gays, lesbians, transgendered, etc..and GLADD is so displeased with your network and therefore will not be watching your programs due to their justified ´moral outrage´.....will A&E stop offering gay-friendly and downright gay programs? I mean, they are not watching....right?

When did Phil Robertson insult African-Americans and inject Jim Crow laws?
I can just say one thing and that is the minority gays and blacks are just that minorities gays being the minuscule.
If A&E wants their profits to be minuscule then program things for those groups.
I am really tired of the twisted lying by the Gay Nazis Complex on this issue and inserting race so Phil Robertson can be labeled a racist.
GLAAD is not so glad in fact they are miserable with themselves and want to inflict their misery on others. When their gay indoctrination in schools gets questioned they go on a tear. Let´s just hope Robertson and Duck Dynasty is the spark for Christian push back against the Gay Nazis Complex.

Yo...yo...YEAH!!! Clarice is back. GLAAD didn´t have to try and rope in the African Americans. Jesse Jackson jumped in because he saw an opportunity to shake A&E down for a few bucks. Remember his whining about Budweiser not having any minority distributors and "it´s a miracle" his family members get a distributorship. He´s a race hustler and a mentor of Michelle Obama who babysat his legitimate children back in the day. Jesse should try and explain back in the 1930´s when there was no air conditioning, when 10´s of thousands of African Americans slept out at night on Haines Point in Washington, DC to escape the stifling heat, there wouldn´t be one assault, rape, murder, shooting or crime. Because the African American family was still intact and morals were instilled in the children. The day before Christmas in South East DC, some idiot shot a "Black Santa" in the back with a pellet gun as he was trying to distribute toy to needy children. REAL NICE..Jesse. Maybe you should be worrying about "your folks´" disintegrated family life, instead of worrying about the Robinson´s family life, which by all indications seems to be doing OK. SMOOCHES to Clarice.

This is a first class article and her indictment of the lack of research by our talking heads... and their utter conformity... is damning.

I loved her last comment. FTA: This year, protect your brain from geese, parrots, and Orwellian Animal Farm style "non-profit" tyrants. I don´t watch BET because I know ahead of time I don´t want to hear their spiel. The same with MSNBC. I have a hard time believing that either gays or blacks watch the Ducks for roughly the same reason.Just hearing God´s name makes them run like scalded cats.

Limbaugh made it big because there was a huge void in the media called the other point of view.I was totally shocked when I first saw his TV shows,I wondered how can a right winger get away with this?

The Ducks are filling a void in the TV presentations because so many are just bland and carbon copies of each other.Conservatives have a great sense of humor and they´re not too thin sinned to laugh at themselves.

But anyway, when Phil said what he said,he wasn´t there as a rep for A&E but speaking on his own behalf.I mean yeah, there´s some overlap there but the whiner groups would never have bothered them except for the ambush GQ leftists.

I still don´t know why General McCrystal got fired other than calling Biden Bite-me and that could have been somebody else. The leftist rags like Rolling Stone and GQ are only interested in a take down, not a presentable story.Ruining a general´s life using off the record, bar comments shows how sleazy they are.

Alas, another reporter asked me the same question I have been repeatedly asked for the past five years. “As an African-American, why are you a member of the Tea Party?” It dawned on me to ask the reporter, “If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you not a member of the Tea Party?” It is stunning that reporters cannot see the absurdity and racism against white voters in their assumption that Tea Party membership (pushback against Obama's agenda) equals racism. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally
