President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama, and their two daughters did not go to church on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, according to press pool reports. The Obamas are in Kailua, Hawaii for a 17-day Christmas vacation. Although the Obamas did not go to church for Christmas, President Obama did play golf during the afternoon of Dec. 24 and Mrs. Obama spoke with children by telephone on Christmas Eve for about 30 minutes concerning Santa’s whereabouts as tracked by NORAD. That same evening, the president also spoke with U.S. military personnel in different parts of the world by

The Obama´s are not church goers and have never been since they had to distance themselves from Wright (and it no longer had political benefit). Far better that they stay away than show up for a photo op like the Clintons did and disrupt everyone else´s day. We know who they are.

Pure rejection of a Christian based holiday. You can bet his calendar is circled with the next muslim prayer breakfast.

Going to church under false pretenses is absurd anyway and it´s actually better that he didn´t make an insincere visit.

Obama actually went to Rev.Wright´s church all those years out of false pretense. Some longtime Chicago operatives advised him to do so because blacks are impressed by it for some reason.Pretending to be an upstanding family in the community is a real resume enhancer.

Obama has gotten terrific advice on how to con people and it comes natural to him on top of that.

He did visit the Marines overseas once, mainly for tge photo op. I remember the shots of him in front of a tank. But, I also remember he forced them to be disarmed, because he had sneaking suspicions some of them may not be fawning over him.

Some of the faces, ok many, of the faces in the audience showed extreme boredom and displeasure at being there.

He is afraid now, if he walked into a church, he would

#22, no one mentioned "validation". No real Christian is validated by what another Christian does or doesn´t do.

The point is that Obama and Family have claimed to be Christians, but everything they do mitigates against that being true. A Christian infuses his life with Christian values. Their faith is not relegated to a little corner of their private lives. (See "Robertson, Phil")

It´s a matter of hypocrisy, not validation.

Obama´s successful political life, it seems, is based on lying.

Not going to church on Christmas, or on Sundays, shouldn´t be seen as remarkable in any way. It´s just a manifestation of the core of his character - lying and deceiving.

It´s the Saul Alinsky way ... and it´s worked so far.

But he´s finally trapped himself with his biggest lie: Obamacare.

This petard finishes him.

Today, the image would have gone viral in an instant: The president of the United States, dripping wet in swim trunks before a throng of excited beachgoers, trading a look and a laugh with an attractive woman in a polka-dot bikini. LONDON— With support growing for independence just months before Scots decide whether to break up with Britain, outsiders are weighing in with impassioned calls to keep the three-century-old union together. British officials from across the political spectrum, European Union leaders, corporate executives and retired military commanders have made their cases. Even David Bowie registered a plea for Scotland to “stay with us.” But there has been conspicuous silence from one major player with a lot to lose if Scotland secedes: the United States. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said. It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving

The last rancher in southern Nevada has won his battle to graze cows on public land after a week-long stand off with federal agents. The Bureau of Land Management today said it would stop trying to seize the cattle of Cliven Bundy after armed militia members today continuing to gather in Nevada in a confrontation with federal agents. BLM Director Neil Kornze said: ´Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of
