Marc Lamont Hill Denounces A&E’s
‘Morally Reprehensible’ Decision
to Keep Phil Robertson

Mediaite, by Matt Wllstein

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 12/27/2013 9:02:02 PM

CNN contributor Marc Lamont Hill spoke out loudly against A&E’s decision to effectively lift it’s “suspension” of Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson. While he said he’s not “surprised” they made the decision to keep filming with the whole Robertson family, Hill found that decision “morally reprehensible.” “They had to make some sort of gesture to make people happy,” Hill said of the network, “and they did that with the suspension which essentially meant nothing.” Just a Bible network wouldn’t want a “card-carrying atheist” to represent them, he continued, A&E should be able to keep a “card-carrying homophobe” off its air

Laughable. Just a few hours ago, A&E had the "right" to terminate Phil. Now that they´ve invoked the "right" to bring him back, the perpetually aggrieved are ´outraged´. What a hoot.

A&E should be able to keep a “card-carrying homophobe” off its air out of respect for the LGBT community.

Are they all special snowflakes?

Marc is just a bit wee-wee´d up with the "morally reprehensible*" comment. Needs to chill out.

Obviously there are two complete different universes of thought in this country today. You can bet that this guy never watched the duck show on A&E Networks. If he does not like what this duck family is doing and saying, he and people who think like him can always turn the channel and watch Miley Cyrus or someone else more to their liking.

Even Godless Communists like Hill try to be moral, but their form of morality is secular and humanistic based on their personal opinion of what is moral and what is not. But human opinions are always flawed because humans are imperfect and flawed. That is why we need a Higher Power, God, to tell us what is moral and what is best for humanity.

He claims what Phis said was "morally reprehensible" but his view is based on his own humanistic opinion, not the views of a Higher Power. Either homosexual acts are moral or they are immoral. If God says it´s immoral then that settles it. If there is no God, as most liberal socialistic communistic Democrats want to believe, then Christian views about it are just as valid as non-Christian views.

To call anyone reprehensible or vile or bigoted, based on personal opinion is reprehensible, vile and bigoted. So it turns out Liberal Democrats are the one´s who are vile bigots, not Christians.
God is clear about homosexuality so to support homosexuality, people must deny His existence and become their own God with their one reality, rules, values and morality. Hmmm, isn´t that exactly what Satan did?

Mr. Hill believes that A&E owes more respect to the 3% of the country who call themselves gay than to the 70% of the country who call themselves Christian. That is Liberalism in a nutshell.

I´ve watched this racist on Fox shows for many years - he started being the liberal prof from Temple U, then he got a promo to Columbia. Want to say he started on O´Reilly - after hearing him rant just change the channel when I saw him. He´s kind of like a smart Juan Williams, but still his arguments are not logical.

This clown-arse is the best example of what´s wrong with American education. He´s touted as some kind of spokespuke for the American people because he has a made-up PhD in, "Pop Culture," from some liberal university. So, just how does having a specialty in a totally fabricated useless study make you an expert in business/law/entertainment/making a buck honestly/anything? He´s just another smug black man-chiled who smiles when they squeek a toy, and delivers idiotic responses when they offer him a piece of lemon rind. He´s just a younger, faster talking version of Juan Williams. Frauds like him should be shown the door, unfortunately, America is filled with them today, and mostly around seats of power.

Power is the thing that causes anger--the gay movement overplayed its hand and lost powerfully lots of ground. The guy on CNN can hoot and holler all he wants. The TV button is still there to turn off anf TV has been turning off more and more folks yearly. That is why the Robertsons are so popular.

Sure it is staged but staged with believability and believable characters being themselves. They also are so clearly having a good time.

So having knocked the momentum of the GLAAD power grab off course and seeing how the people who have got gay marriage through the easy blue states and the power offensive of the federal judge forcing the most conservative state in the nation--the one the gays marched on after prop 8 and the Mormon people dared raise money in support of a political issue--you can bet if allowed to stand it is coming to a statehouse near you.

IMO judges need to be allowed to be impeached when they legislate from the bench. If this is left to stand the liberal tyrants will just use the courts to grab power for their special interest groups.

Supporting gay unions and traditional marriage is compatible and will not empower NAMBLA.

With Revrum Jerkson popping his head up suddenly, and more and more commentary in the last two or three days from the black elite punditry, they´re trying to move the dialogue off of the original ´Phil is a homophobe´ TP (talking point, or toilet paper... take your pick) on to ´Phil is a racist´.

A federal proposal requiring more efficiency from wood-burning stoves has ignited a debate between the Obama administration and lawmakers who oppose the new regulations, arguing the rules impose an unfair burden on people in remote areas. The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a rule changes in January that would dramatically tighten emissions requirements on new wood-powered heaters, though does not impact ones already in homes. The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers. The dispute pits several mostly urban states, mainly in the northeast,

Liberals rightly credit TV and movies and pop songs for America’s growing support for gay “marriage.” So why not use that power for Obamacare? Jarrett told the Popsugar crew that

Problems getting judges confirmed by the Senate have been a constant complaint for this White House — but this week, President Barack Obama’s aides are celebrating a confirmation count that outpaces President George W. Last month in an interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, Romney himself ruled out the possibility of a 2016 run and said he was instead focused on who to get behind in that contest. Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

A 54-year-old white man has been left barely clinging to life after he was brutally beaten by a group of black men when he got out of his car to check on a young black boy he accidentally hit. Steve Utash, from suburban Roseville, was beaten into a coma Wednesday by an angry mob in a poverty-stricken Detroit neighborhood after David Harris, 10, ran in front of his truck on a busy street, but police insist the incident was not racially motivated. The gang also stole his wallet before leaving him for dead. Utash is in extremely critical

President Barack Obama contended that the government did not “make a hard sell” for Obamacare, despite his administration spending nearly $700 million to promote the law. “We didn’t make a hard sell,” Obama said in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, praising the 7.1 million sign ups for the Affordable Care Act. “We didn’t have billions of dollars of commercials like some critics did.” However, last July the Associated Press reported that Obamacare’s marketing campaign would cost at least $684 million. Taxpayer funding went to all 50 states in efforts to encourage people to enroll, including nearly $28 million for the

Attorney General Eric Holder disputed a Government Accountability Office report on his use of Justice Department airplanes for personal trips, saying it overstated the number of trips he took and failed to recognize that some trips were job-related. "My staff keeps telling me to take it easy, you know, well, this is one that gets me," Holder told Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing. "There was this notion that we´ve taken -- I think it was described as hundreds of personal trips. That was wrong. GAO counted flights, not round trips. And we looked at it

According to a report via BuzzFeed’s Evan McMorris-Santoro, President Barack Obama requested the opportunity to address the nation in prime time on the major broadcast networks on Tuesday night to announce that the Affordable Care Act had reached 7 million enrollees. Those networks did not, however, accommodate the White House’s request. “Three sources familiar with the request confirmed the White House asked for the prime time slot in their effort both to emphasize a bright moment following the challenging roll out and, more important, to try to reintroduce the country to a law that remains unpopular,”
