Democrats will pay political
price for Obamacare in 2014

Washington Examiner, by Byron York

Original Article

As Democrats survey a troubled 2014 political landscape, it´s easy to forget how optimistic they seemed less than a year ago. "I would expect that Nancy Pelosi is going to be speaker again pretty soon," President Obama told cheering House Democrats at a party retreat last February. In the rosy scenario that took hold in some Democratic circles, the party was positioned to recapture the House in 2014 and maintain control of the Senate, allowing Obama to defy the history of second-term presidential decline. Great successes and good years lay ahead. Had Democrats forgotten Obamacare, the law they passed in 2010 that was

Comments:
I pray with every ounce of my heart, soul and body that the Democrats suffer the worst loss they have ever seen in both houses since the history of the party. And Chuckie Schumer had the audacity to say 0bamacare won´t be the number one issue in the 2014 elections. What a complete obnoxious idiot he is.

Yes, they should.

But they already own the software which counts the votes.

Big problem.

Unfortunately, elections won´t do anything to change the trajectory of the US because we have an illegitimate political system. A few GOPs might get into the Washington cesspool as a result of Obamacare, but no guarantee that they won´t Pull a Paul Ryan or a Scott Brown the minute they get there.

They will just turn out battalions of Black Panthers to make sure only Democrats can vote and accelerate the illegal amnesty program as well as the motor voter laws, so when those illegals get their DL´s they also get to vote.
In CA they can´t sit on jury duty but oh well.
I live in CA and voting here is a waste of time expecting that I might win an election. Ain´t gonna happen.

We were not founded as a democracy. Constitutionally we were founded as a democratic REPUBLIC. Democracies don´t work out well - as history has proven.

We were a nation of laws, not men. And the federal government was restricted to a very few responsibilities. And Senators were appointed by state governors.

We have warped into a banana republic in my lifetime. We no longer know what "the law" is, day to day. "Regulators" now hold more power now than the Congress and can damage our well being at will.

The primary responsibilities of the the federal government in the Constitution are being abandoned for personal gain - defence, postal delivery, and a sound currency come to mind.

Shame on all of us - but especially the liberals - of both political parties.

By November, everybody should have a pretty good idea of what a disaster Obamacare is. If it hasn´t affected them personally yet, they surely will have friends and relatives who have been affected.

Other than saving their own sorry butts, job one for those two is destroying the Tea Party and other Conservatives. Look at the Budget surrender bill they passed the other day and look no further.

Obama doesn’t care about Obamacare. Obama cares about Power. Power at ANY cost! He’s willing to say and do ANYTHING to gain and retain Power. Obama is America’s enemy.

Also on America’s Enemies List: Posters who surrender before the battle even begins. The All-Is-Lost Crowd. The Woe-Is-Us Bunch. The We-Don’t-Have-A-Snowball’s-Chance and so on and so forth lamenters, moaners and weepers.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war. The Knowledgeable vs. The Ignorant. If The Ignorant continue to grow in number and The Knowledgeable are surrendering, the outcome is a certainty. We must not allow that to happen.

Liberals, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Democrats lack the vision to see beyond their next union rally and government handout. Without voter fraud and a corrupt media, they wouldn’t even exist.

Illegitimi non carborundum!

Lying to the public to get them to buy a product is fraud and something for which the law punishes. I don´t see it happening here. Through it all, Obama still has 40% of his clingers and Congress doesn´t seem care how much power he grabs or how much lying he does. Impressive the way they guard our democracy.

OP, Shumer was right. They are going to keep focusing on the election with Reid leading with jobs and the economy, blaming the GOP along the way.( O´Care will be forgotten by the Lames ). They will use our hard work rebuilding ( despite their obstructions ) to fool the dupes into believing they did it. They have the Chamber Of Congress helping to attack the Tea Party and who will try to force Boehner into illegal citizenship , giving them an insurmountable voting bloc. Pelosi will continue her push for these voters. They know we´re mad , but are hoping to use deceit on the gullible , foolish and ignorant voter again.

Why bother reading RINO Byron York quoting the unimportant words of other dummies?
As long as the Acorn organizers control the non accountable electronic voting machines, and control the socialist media propagandizing that only Hitlary and the king´s soft son Jeb, will be the nominees, the best new answer is a DUCK DYNASTY groundswell, added by the depth of the vast Tea Party and growing interest groups like untold millions if hunters and gun owning families. Don´t forget all the families who will have been
devastated by ObamaFraud death and injury. If there is not any anti Obama violence in the streets by the next election, and we pray there is not, then the ire of real people, DUCK DYNASTY and Tea Party, will be at an all time, take no prisoners, high smashing all the democrat´s vote rigging rackets, and we might actually elect a proper president who will clean out the entire DC bureaucracy upon entering office. Dreaming the truth will make it happen.

And in that time span, you can bet the farm that dims will dream up a plethora of "ideas" to turn voters attention away from Obozocare and on to something else. They´re masters of that. And also the huge amounts of voter fraud that they have perfected over many years. All of us here at LCom are correct in their belief that conservatives don´t have a chance in he$$ in recovering this country. What is needed is another old fashion revolution that completely removes any and all out of D.C. and be replaced with those who WILL follow the constitution. The communist democrats won´t lose and Obama will get his eight so the ´black experiment´ doesn´t fail. Obama doesn´t care about Obama care and will enjoy many more family vacations before his is finished.
Washington is awash, with the exception of few, with tax cheats, power hungry mongers, thieves stealing taxpayer monies with schemes for themselves and cronies. The second story sneaks are from both parties. I hate them all.
The fix is in and Hillary will get her eight years to finish off our nation to become communist. The Republicans will see to that.
Republicans don´t want to win or be in the drivers seat. Bush had it all and acted like his esteem colleagues across the aisle.
Physical civil unrest might get their attention but the ballot box doesn´t.

Things just haven´t gotten bad enough for the great pushback to begin. Obama tests the waters to see how much the peons will accept and then he backs off, he extends another deadline. It will take a major blow to the libs and lofos before they get angry enough to turn against him. The dems may tip their hand in 2014 when the vote isn´t going the democrat way and they must cheat widely and often to steal this election. That will expose them publicly and they won´t be able to cover it all up.

Wake me up when the bloodshed begins.

Marco Rubio is beefing up his political action committee, making significant high-level changes to it and his senatorial staff. The changes are intensifying speculation that Rubio – who many thought that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney would pick to be his vice president in 2102 – is preparing the terrain for the 2016 presidential race. Publicly, Rubio, a Florida Republican, has said he has not yet decided whether to aim for the White House in two years, or whether he’ll seek re-election to the Senate. A recent survey of 148 insurance brokers shows that ObamaCare is sending premiums rising at the fastest clip in decades. "For the last, about, five years they´ve been doing this survey, so this was the largest percentage increase in any quarter since they´ve been doing (it)," says Scott Gottlieb of the American Enterprise Institute. "But at 12 percent, 11 percent increase on average across all the states -- that puts it at the upper end of any increase we´ve seen for decades." That is the national average in a survey done by Morgan Stanley. But in some states, it found rates are soaring. "There are specific states with exorbitant increases," says Gottlieb.

That would threaten the Internet’s independence as it would create an opportunity for regimes far less friendly to freedom to step in and gain power and influence. Presumably, Google paid more than that to keep it away from Facebook. It sounds like Titan will work on a variety of projects for Google. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

On Fox News Sunday, political analyst Brit Hume said that Eric Holder’s claim that his treatment at the hands of Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) at a House hearing this week was unprecedented toward an Attorney General, made him a “crybaby,” and that he and President Barack Obama had in fact benefited “enormously” from being the first African Americans in their respective positions. “This strikes me as kinda crybaby stuff from Holder,” Hume said. “My sense about this is both Eric Holder and Barack Obama have benefited politically enormously from the fact that they are African American and the first to

Let me obliterate a bit of confusion here: the Obama administration attempted to go to war with a rancher in Nevada. Let me amplify a little bit of truth: They tucked tail and have returned home. And let me add a bit of clarity: they had no choice! As the nation began to become familiar with the plight of the family of Cliven Bundy, many of us harkened back to another standoff in which the Federal government attempted to bully it´s outcome: Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidian massacre. It is telling that in the Nevada case the feds pulled out so

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.

As I sit writing from Berlin, Germany—I woke up this morning with the news that a demented American Nazi and KKK leader, Glenn Miller, has been arrested as the main suspect in the Kansas City murder of 3 American Jews. (Snip) Fortunately, a quick look at some of the anti-Semitic extremist websites has led to the following post by Mr. Miller, reproduced verbatim below: Israel Forming Super PAC to Attack Paul & Obama This is some big dookee, yaw’ll. http://runronpaul.com/interviews/isr…on-paul-obama/ Jew journalist Max Blumenthal exposes and explains this attempt by a foreign government Israel, to buy the presidential election for the neo-con, war-mongering republican
