Sarah Palin: I didn’t read
‘Duck Dynasty’ interview

Politico, by Lucy McAlmont

Original Article

Posted By:Pluperfect, 12/25/2013 4:57:34 AM

Turns out Sarah Palin, who has been one of Duck Dynasty’s biggest defenders, hasn’t actually read the GQ interview that includes cast member Phil Robertson’s controversial comments on homosexuality and other subjects. When pressed by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren whether the language Robertson used when talking about his opposition to homosexuality was graphic and offensive, Palin admitted she didn’t know what Robertson had said. “I haven’t read the article. I don’t know exactly how he said it,” Palin said Monday on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

Comments:
Well.

I have not read it either. I do not read GQ. Never have, never will.

Unfortunately, our media fools do not report exactly what was in the article that was so offensive, based on the exerts that I have seen about the article.

Well, I have read the interview and can tell you that a large number of the people who are condemning Phil Robertson have not read it either. I know at least one person who, when I confronted them to point out how what he actually said was offensive, went back and did read it. They then came back and condemned him in completely different terms, never admitting that they had been wrong in the first place.

Leave it to politico to try to make this about Palin.
And the silly leftist, atheist commenters who always try to compare Jesus to the federal government.

I don´t read garbage from dung piles like GQ, NY Times, WaPo, Rolling Stoned Mag., MotherJones., etc. etc.. But I do read excerpts from articles and subsequent and consequent paragraphs to get a perspective. Sarah Palin et. al. do not need to waste time with reading entire articles typically loaded with leftist, Marxist agenda promoting doo-doo. It would be a waste of good eyesight. Yet one can understand parts of articles etc. that may be germane to an argument. OK L u c y!!! I hate the Politico - just another left leaning rag that is getting worse by the day.

I´ve never read GQ. I imagine all the outraged lefties don´t either. But I read the pertinent comments that have the leftists in an uproar. Phil answered a question, honestly. Don´t expect any Robertson to apologize for their religious beliefs. Nor should they have to. A & E told Phil the reason they cut Jesus out of his prayers at the end of each episode is because they don´t want to upset Muslims. So where was the outrage then, lefties?

Most of the talking heads who discuss Phil Robertson admit they have never watched the show and I always think, how hard would it be to watch a 30 minute episode to have some credibility on this. At least Sarah has watched the show and I am sure she has heard enough commentary on Phil´s interview to understand the discussion.

For all who have not read what the big uproar is about. These are the two quotes from the article.

“...“It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”…”
--------------------------
“...What, in your mind, is sinful?

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he says. Then he paraphrases Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”…"

This is a clear attempt to remind the public that Sarah´s original sin was not reading (not remembering) what she had read recently.

This is the scum-ball media´s way of avoiding what she thinks while defining her to suit themselves.

Romans 1:29-32

29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

This, #11, is what Phil Roberston was paraphrasing in his 2010 interview.

If A&E had a problem with that, perhaps they should have fired him in 2010...

The fairest explainer I’ve found on the Bundy saga is Becket Adams’s post at TheBlaze. If, like me (and Ace), you came to this story after it had already been hyper-polarized and weren’t sure whose facts to trust, try Adams’s Q&A. He plays it straight. In one sense this is complicated — land ownership, grazing rights dating back decades, a court battle, the feds tasing a Bundy family member, even a Harry Reid cameo — but after listening to this Glenn Beck interview with Bundy, it seems surprisingly simple. Bundy stopped paying the BLM in 1993 for grazing rights on

An obscure 1920 law is costing Americans billions of dollars a year in higher fuel costs. The Jones Act requires that cargo shipped from one US port to another be carried on a US-registered vessel, built, owned and crewed by Americans. This protectionist law was designed to support a shipbuilding industry that no longer exists — but inertia and labor-union muscle keep it on the books. The law mainly makes the news in time of crisis. It delayed shipment of road salt to New Jersey during a shortage last winter — happily, without incident, as the weather moderated before the Garden State

The continuation of Putin’s push into Ukraine makes it official. The Obama Doctrine is to ignore an international crisis or go to war. There is no in between. And President Obama’s been clear that he isn’t going to start any new wars. The recent bipartisan push by Congress to help Ukraine, however, was the latest signal that the president´s foreign policy is unraveling and his doctrine of ‘war or ignore’ is making America less safe. The bill had a huge majority in Congress (378-84 in the House, 98-2 in the Senate) pushing back against a slow and disinterested White House.

On Monday, Acting Social Security Commissioner Carolyn W. Colvin said she was suspending the program while the agency conducts a review. Social Security recipients and members of Congress complained that people were being forced to repay overpayments that were sometimes paid to their parents or guardians when they were children.

To secede or not to secede. That will be the question for Wisconsin Republicans at next month´s convention. Earlier this month, the party´s Resolutions Committee voted in favor of a proposal that says the state party "supports legislation that upholds Wisconsin´s right, under extreme circumstances, to secede." A version of the so-called "state sovereignty" resolution was first OK´d last month by one of the state GOP´s eight regional caucuses as an assertion of the state´s 10th Amendment rights. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
