Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson
celebrates vaginas and Christ

Washington Times, by Crystal Wright

Original Article

WASHINGTON– Straight people and Christians can’t have pride. If they show it, GLAAD calls our (normal) point of view homophobic or “vile and extreme” as it did when Phil Robertson, one of the stars of A&E’s reality show “Duck Dynasty,” said he liked vaginas and Christ. In an interview with GQ magazine, Robertson, like many Christians, lamented about the loss of morals—a sense of right and wrong—from our culture. “Sin becomes fine,” he said. As a Christian, Robertson added he believes homosexuality is a sin along with adultery and other acts noted in the Bible. As a heterosexual male,Robertson mused,

Number one,Dynasty is on cable and number two, nobody is forced to watch it.These people´s simplistic life views makes them too under educated for the refined, left´s taste. In the left´s mind, they think this show stereotypes all republicans as backward, outdated and religious zealots. They forget that liberalism is a form of religion.

The left has mastered the art of targeting advertisers to squelch free speech, freedom of expression and now limits on what can be considered performance art.

All the gay´s so called advancements in the past few years are hollow victories. It´s costed them millions in donations and bribes to crooked government officials and judges.

Gays are no more accepted today than they ever were, the difference is people keeping their opinions to themselves.Gay marriages could go down now if the broke partner can get medicaid expansion instead of marrying into employed´s benefits packages.

Has there been a flock of gays signing up for the military? I seriously doubt,it was simply a checklist item to gain acceptability.

Phil just quoted what is written in the BIBLE. I do not judge or condemn anyone BUT I stand on the Word of God. I do not believe we should condemn anyone, and I do not believe Phil was condemning anyone either. Phil just said he prefers women over men in his PHIL ways. I am mature enough to appreciate that. But many are just arrogant and too stupid to see that.
BUT ultimately God will deal with each and every individual who has rejected Him and His Word. God´s Word states "Woe unto them who says good is evil and evil good" God will deal with all of it when the time of times comes and NO GOVERNMENT or pretended laws will stop GOD. In that, we can take comfort.

This morning, I fired off my response to AETV regarding their ´disgusting´ action against Phil. I am a big fan of DD and view many of the other programs that A&E airs. If they do not reverse their stance, I will not watch of their programming and that is not a threat, it is a fact. I am disgusted at the continual blackmail of the haters.

Phil Robertson knew exactly what the reaction would be to his statements. Of course, he was being sincere. I doubt he and the family are particularly upset by the suspension. Maybe they´ve had enough of the big stage and spotlight.

My question to A&E is do they always support the .01% who rattle their cage? If so, then all the DD watchers will as the producers to just move to another more friendly channel that does not cave to the load protests of the .01%. I fail to see why they are so afraid of the LGBT community boycott of their advertisers. As it is most people buy from those advertisers whose products they like. The term boycott is over used and too many CEO´s fall for this crappy word. I for one am tired of all the noise the LGBT makes. What they do with their lives and morals is their business and to their own destruction if they so please. Sure it going to hurt them in the long run but that´s not for me to say. I will pray for my LGBT friends but I won´t try to change their lives, it´s up to them to decide when enough is enough.

This could get interesting.

Will the rest of the family hang with Phil and refuse to be filmed? If they do, will A&E sue for breach of contract? Will the Robertson´s counter-sue citing violation of their civil rights?

How will the devoted fans react?

Does A&E not know who their audience is?

If anyone viewed the clip that was posted here last week of the interview Phil gave to some sportsman show or network, Phil stated clearly in that interview that A&E did not know who the Robertsons are. To quote Phil, "We know who they are, but they don´t know who we are."

I would further posit that no only does A&E not know who the Robertsons are, A&E has been trying to make the Robertsons into something they are not. Phil talked about the phony bleeps that A&E was throwing in as if there were profanity in the show [which A&E stopped when Phil called their hand]; he talked about A&E cutting the praying "in the name of Jesus" for fear of insulting Muslims, and now A&E is allowing the phrase into the shows.

A&E has just stepped in a big old smelly cow patty, best I can tell.

Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor, in an interview with NBC News, said this about his opponent, Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran and current Representative Tom Cotton: There’s a lot of people in the Senate that didn’t serve in the military. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a wide-ranging audit of the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act nutrition standards last week, finding 48 out of 50 states faced challenges complying with Mrs. Obama’s Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act. The new standards led to kids throwing out their fruits and vegetables, student boycotts, higher lunch costs, and odd food pairings such as “cheese stick with shrimp” in order for schools to comply with the

In Fiscal Year 2013, the official federal deficit was $680 billion. Liberals have cheered this drop while subsequently ignoring how this deficit is both larger than all of Bush’s pre-recession deficits and is expected to grow dramatically over the next several decades. However, the Treasury Department’s annual report on the finances of the U.S. federal government shows that not only is $680 billion an incomplete measure of the federal government’s finances, it’s off by nearly a factor of five. From Just Facts Daily: The U.S. Treasury has just released its annual “Financial Report of the United States Government,” which provides an account of

As the Tea Party celebrates its five-year anniversary, many commentators are asking whether the grassroots anti–Big Government movement is still relevant. In some ways, this seems a silly question. The Tea Party has been enormously successful in changing the terms of the national debate on issues such as debt and spending. And, while its favored candidates have suffered some high-profile defeats, it has also won important victories. The Republican midterm sweep of 2010 would not have been possible without its energy and enthusiasm. Yet it’s also true that the Tea Party’s clout is waning. Lerner invoked the Fifth Amendment on each question Issa asked about the agency’s targeting of conservative groups. The hearing lasted approximately fifteen minutes before Issa released Lerner. Issa began the hearing by explaining that Lerner previously waived her Fifth Amendment rights in a May 2013 hearing and that “the

Where Lois Lerner goes, drama follows. On Wednesday, the former IRS officer again invoked the Fifth before the House Oversight Committee. That precipitated a heated exchange between the committee’s Republican chairman, Darrell Issa, and Democratic ranking member Elijah Cummings, who called the hearings “un-American.” And that spat has become the story. No doubt that is exactly what Cummings had in mind. Because it distracts attention from the substance of the hearings — and from the questions raised by e-mails and public remarks Lois Lerner wrote, received or made when she was IRS Director of Tax Exempt Organizations.
