´Duck Dynasty´s´ Phil Robertson on Indefinite
Hiatus Following Anti-Gay Remarks

Hollywood Reporter, by Lesley Goldberg

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 12/18/2013 9:00:16 PM

A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following anti-gay remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ. "We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty," A&E said in a statement. "His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely." The news comes after Robertson compared homosexuality to bestiality in an interview

It seems people with principles and beliefs are not free to speak the truth according to the Word of God.

Phil, do you have the latitude to take your award-winning, money-making wonderful show to another network?

Speak up, God-fearing Americans! Now is not the time to be silent and allow fewer than 1% of the population to scare A&E!!! Speaks volumes about the network.

I will be really disapointed if the entire Duck Dynast cast doesn´t walk off the show unless they keep Phil on. It would serve AE well to lose their top show to another network. The PC thugs MUST be confronted and STOPPED! It´s a REALITY showM it should let the people in the show be REAL!

I sure hope viewers put A&E on hiatus until they apologize and beg Phil to come back. Sooner or later, these media morons are going to realize that Mr. Robertson´s views are not "extreme" or "hateful", but quite common and logical. Homosexuality is absolutely abnormal, as well as against God´s law. Homos in GLAAD know nothing of Christianity, so they should shut their filthy mouths.

This stupid decision is going to cost A & E a lot of $$$$$$$$$

A great deal of their "programming" is running and re-running episode after episode of Duck Dynasty for hours on end! Phil is in almost every episode!!!

I guess they can suck up to the gay lobby for programming, but millions of Christian viewers would quit watching....

What a cowardly bunch of people who cannot support one of their stars making them money hand over fist....

Homosexuals are the most intolerant group of people I have ever encountered. Any person who wishes to leave their cult of belief is ostracized in the extreme. Free speech on this topic is equated to hate speech in their minds with no tolerance for any thought outside the GLADD line.

FTA: GLAAD spokesperson Wilson Cruz said. "He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans -- and Americans -- who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil´s decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors, who now need to re-examine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families."

Wilson Cruz doesn´t know what he´s talking about. I grew up in Louisiana and outside or NOLA and maybe a part of Shreveport homo does not fly well with the normal folks.

I don´t care how many times I hear GLAAD or hear anyone say being homo is natural there is nothing natural about being homo. It´s a perversion of the natural order of things.

So, GLAAD scored another win but in the end (no pun intended) they will loose everything.

Phil and family do not need A&E in anyway shape or form..they are mega wealthy on their own ( in fact, I think I read where they are only paid something like $250,000 per show..which is nuts..but, I digress) In some way, they will be on the air, in some form and we will all be with them..Me thinks, that A&E has messed with the wrong Redneck!!!

Gays don´t like it when their practices are spelled out for everyone to understand. They speak in terms of love and commitment but they don´t want you to think about what they actually do because it is repugnant to most people. More than anything they want to convince people what they do is normal. When anyone points out the fallacy of that statement, they erupt in outrage. The truth of their lifestyle is well hidden because it is in direct opposition to the rampant disease and promiscuity in their community.

To the idiots at A&E,
If I recall, we still have a Constitution that guarantees freedom of speech. I defend a man or woman his or her right to express an opinion at any time anywhere and I don´t give a rats ass if it offends you or any of your viewers.

When the likes of Bill Maher can slam Christians, or go after Sarah Palin´s daughter, and the list goes on, that´s okay with the PC crowd, but God forbid someone says something that isn´t PC. There is no provision in our Constitution that guarantees against having your little feelings hurt.

I have blocked A&E on my TV permanently, I will be contacting the sponsors of Duck Dynasty to express my extreme displeasure with the decision of A&E that violates Phil Robertson´s right of free speech, you know, that one that is protected by our Constitution.

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. "Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked. "No, I´ve always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media. In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. Suddenly ObamaCare is a roaring success, happy days are here again and liberals are euphoric, or claim to be. There are more than a few reasons to doubt this new fairy tale, not least the behavior of Senate Democrats running for re-election this year. In the Rose Garden Tuesday, President Obama reported that 7.1 million people had signed up so far, confirming a Monday night White House news leak. ANN ARBOR, Mich. – President Obama compared the Republican budget plan to a "stinkburger" or "meanwich" during a speech here Wednesday, using a series of zingers in an attempt to strike a contrast with the GOP on economic issues in an election year. Do you think members of Congress are overpaid or underpaid? Most likely you’d go with the former, but Democratic congressman Jim Moran argues it’s actually the latter. In an interview with CQ Roll Call, Moran says, “I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid.” The House recently took up a bill to freeze members’ paychecks, placing another halt on the annual cost-of-living pay increases they would normally get and keeping annual salary at $174,000. Moran believes that this is the wrong way to go, not necessarily talking about himself in particular, but saying there

With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.

The human kindling that makes up the flammable Republican base may soon burst into flames, again. Portions of that excitable cohort are looking — some with fawn-like eyes filled with hurt, others with sparks shooting from eyes narrowed like gun slits — askance at other Republicans urging Jeb Bush to seek the 2016 presidential nomination. A candidacy by Florida’s former governor would be desirable. But if Republicans want to avoid intra-party carnage, they should be very careful about doing what The Post recently reported: “Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is "looking" at banning the sale of tobacco at military installations. According to one military publication, Hagel appears to support it. "As the Navy considers banning tobacco sales on all bases and ships, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel gave a strong endorsement of the review Monday, and suggested that he would be in favor of a ban," reports Stars and Stripes. “I don’t know if there’s anybody in America who still thinks that tobacco is good for you,” Stars and Stripes quotes Hagel as saying. “We don’t allow smoking in any of our government buildings. Restaurants, states, [and]

Sarah Palin continues to act in ways that confirm some of the more negative things said about her. For example, she’s taken to Facebook to attack the most recent budget plan by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan.(Snip)Whatever differences Ms. Palin may have with the Ryan plan–and perhaps she’ll take the time to offer an actual critique of if rather than a Facebook entry with lots of upper case words–it’s hardly a joke. But what might elicit a roll of the eyes is comparing Ms. Palin’s views now versus what they were nearly four years ago. Consider this: On December

At a press conference to push legislation to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) criticized industrialists David and Charles Koch, calling them “shadow billionaires” who use their wealth to “rig our political system.” Reid’s sharp comments come on a day when the Wall Street Journal published a commentary written by Charles Koch, in which he described the brothers’ decision to get involved in politics to preserve the individual freedom and free markets that he said are the pillars of the American republic. “These two men are a pair of shadow billionaires spending
