The health director who approved the release of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash, Hawaiian officials said Thursday. Loretta Fuddy died after the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft she was travelling on went down shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport at around 3:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) on Wednesday. The other eight people on board were rescued, Richard Schuman, president of Makani Kai Air, told NBC News early Thursday, adding that that there was no indication as to why the plane had crashed. Fuddy hit the headlines two years ago when she approved a waiver request allowing Obama to

OP, I am not a ´birther´ (as you so snidely state), but please tell me why it is so far fetched to think; given what we know about Uhhbama´s America hating Mom, that she wanted to ´gift´ her child with African citizenship and saving him from(in her mind) the ills of being an ´American"?

Even her grandparents chose a state that is most UNlike the rest of America in which to live.

All things being equal, had Barry been born in Kalamazoo, MI on the 4th of July, he still wouldn´t be American so where the egg actually broke is irrelevant but the idea is not worthy of so much derision.

Perhaps I am slow this morning, but I see nothing derisive about the OP comment. It is factual. This will give a lot of people something to wonder about. Too bad the term "birthers" erupted and has become an epithet. Wanting to know whether the president was actually born in the United States is a legitimate concern, not something to be characterized as kooky. Those who do so are playing right into Obie´s hands. But I didn´t see OP doing that here.

I think its dangerous and wrong to let the left play the Alinsky game of ridiculing the opposition into submission rather than facing them on the facts. Just because it "aint cool" to discuss the birth issue doesn´t make it irrelevant nor does it make those not satisfied with the alleged answers idiots or wackobirds, or..... I do think using the term "birther" plays to the script designed to discredit those who would dare to disagree with the socially acceptable leftist point of view. I take no offense but would rather not be gamed by the left and their propaganda machine.

Too bad this post had to start with a violation of Reagan´s 11th Commandment. "Birther" is the same as calling someone "fool" and everyone on here knows that.

My personal opinion is I don´t know where B0 was born but I believe he was adopted by Soetero in Indonesia, went to school (if he did) in the U.S. as a foreign student and got fake papers made when he became useful to the American communist-left. You can´t undo an adoption and get your original birth certificate back - I know that as fact. I think it explains a lot about all the oddities in 0bama´s paper trail. If you want to call me a "birther" for my theories go ahead but, believe me, I have a choice name for name-callers.

Had Ron Brown known how imperiled his aircraft was he might have decided not to waste that very expensive and hard to find .45ACP round.

You read through the Clinton Body Count documents and you find this airplane trick wasn´t the most complex thing possible.

There´s Betty Curry´s brother. He was killed crossing a highway. Hit by two trucks, one going one way and the other going the other way.

Then there´s Ron Brown. That hole in his skull was certainly signature Clinton ~ but they had bad weather, night time conditions, strange airfield, etc ~ pretty much that later flight more recently that killed Poland´s president.

Now that one was something else ~ way beyond Clintonian in fact. Makes me wonder sometimes if Ron Brown was taken out by the Russians just to send a message.

´S = o "des", which is the archaic form of "of the."

OE is the Bhassa spelling of OII, the most common Chinese name on the planet.

TERO looks sort of grammatical. No doubt we have someone here who can translate it for us

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

As President Obama spoke of old "wounds” at Fort Hood this week, the White House declined a request from a survivor of the 2009 massacre there to meet with Obama for a few minutes so the veteran could explain face-to-face how he believes the government has mistreated and disrespected the victims of that attack. Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford (ret.) was shot seven times in November 2009 when Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people. Despite Hasan’s admission that he carried out the attack on behalf of the Taliban and revelations that he had been

Let me obliterate a bit of confusion here: the Obama administration attempted to go to war with a rancher in Nevada. Let me amplify a little bit of truth: They tucked tail and have returned home. And let me add a bit of clarity: they had no choice! As the nation began to become familiar with the plight of the family of Cliven Bundy, many of us harkened back to another standoff in which the Federal government attempted to bully it´s outcome: Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidian massacre. It is telling that in the Nevada case the feds pulled out so

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

President Obama labeled complaints about voter fraud “bogus” and accused Republicans of cynically trying to prevent Americans from accessing the polls in a fiery speech Friday at a civil rights forum hosted by Al Sharpton. Obama argued that attempts in some states to impose new voter identification restrictions were actually efforts by Republicans to make “it harder, not easier to vote.” And the president said that while voter fraud should be prevented, it rarely occurred. “So let´s be clear, the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud,” Obama said. The last rancher in southern Nevada has won his battle to graze cows on public land after a week-long stand off with federal agents. The Bureau of Land Management today said it would stop trying to seize the cattle of Cliven Bundy after armed militia members today continuing to gather in Nevada in a confrontation with federal agents. BLM Director Neil Kornze said: ´Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on
