Ezekiel Emanuel: If You Like
Your Doctor, You Can Pay
More Under Obamacare

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 12/8/2013 11:40:25 AM

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their

Comments:
What´s the point of having doctors show up for a photo op wearing white coats unless they are actually going to treat patients there? I wonder if Dr. Zeke is going to accept all O-care patients regardless of which plan they choose, and all Medicaid patients?

I loved his "Boy! Just wait til we turn on the PR machine!" solution.
These people, always clueless, are now desparate and twisting in the wind. What a fun thing to watch.

Who IS this Dr Ezekiel Emanuel? Is he kinda´ a ´doctor´ like Reverend Al Sharpton is a ´reverend´? Putting people like this out to try and sell the worm´s "affordable" healthcare bill is pathetic. This guy, like the worm, wouldn´t know the truth if you crammed it down his throat like the health bill was crammed down ours.

The more they send fools like this out to unabashedly tell lies the less support they will get from anybody with an ounce of sense.

If truth be known, the worm probably wants this travesty killed as soon as possible to prevent a black spot on his legacy, whatever that will be.

From what I have read, this nasty piece of work designed Obamacare´s de facto "Death Panels" to make their rulings as to who gets health care and how much using his harsh "whole life system" as a way to ration health care, based on one´s stage in life, age, and "social utility."

This extraordinarily cold and harsh system (kind of like ol´ Ezekiel himself) giving the highest priority for care to young, healthy, "productive" people paying taxes, and lower priority to the newly born, (who get no priority until they are at least six months old, at which point his system considers them "viable" and thus worthy of some care), giving the lowest priority to the old, who are viewed as just worn-out, non-productive, useless, "eaters."

This kind of rationing system is already in place in the UK, and is the reason for the reports of older patients with excruciating, intractable pain not being given more effective and expensive pain medications, but instead being prescribed almost wholly ineffective (but cheap) aspirin.

Obviously their Death Panels "don´t feel your pain" and neither will ours.

About their surname:

The surname Emanuel (??????), which means "God with us", was adopted by their family in honor of his father´s brother Emanuel Auerbach, who was killed in 1933 in an altercation with Arabs in Jerusalem.[4][7]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rahm_Emanuel

So I assume their real surname was Auerbach.

Mama (nee Smulevitz) was a West Side Chicago union organizer active in civil rights - but never taught her sons civility.

Yes, their grandfather was Auerbach. It was he who changed the family surname to Emanuel.

A tidbit from a puff piece on the family:

“There was always a great deal of Jewish tradition in the home,” says Marsha. They would spend the High Holidays together with family members. At their weekly Shabbat dinners, attendance was mandatory. They all sat at a round table in the kitchen, which is still there, because “that way no one was arrogant,” said Ben. No one got to sit at the head of the table.

She failed. Miserably. Her sons - at least the two we know - are the most arrogant imaginable.

"Creepy and scary" are not the adjectives I would choose to describe Emanuel. But then again, the ones I would choose would get me banned from this site for life.

He lacks the civility to not interrupt whomever is interviewing him. What he means is "You are stupid, whatever propaganda I have to spew is far more important than any meager utterances you might attempt to make. I am far more important and intelligent than you can ever hope to be."

He is so arrogant (sound familiar?) he doesn´t even realize his twisted message is lost in the revulsion that surrounds him.

I hope somebody in Philadelphia (home of "Rocky") perfects his Knockout Game skills on his ugly visage.

President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal
