NYC Politician Blames ‘Jewish Success’
for ‘Knock-Out’ Attacks

National Review Online, by Andrew Johnson

Amid an array of “knock-out” attacks against a number of Jews in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood, a city councilwoman pointed to the success of the Jewish community as triggering the aggression. Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo emphasized that while she “admire[s] the Jewish community immensely” for its work ethic, black teens may see it differently. “While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success,” Cumbo, who was recently elected, wrote in a letter. But she´s not a racist, nor is she an anti-Semite.
Why? Plain and simple: It´s because she´s black.

And just what does "While I personally regard this level of tenacity" mean? Was she misquoted or is she just ignorant?

Of course black teens "see it differently." They´ve been conditioned since birth by the likes of Ms. Cumbo that work ethic is meaningless and they deserve all the goodies of living in America without having to put in the effort.

They don´t have a clue of the concept of working hard to earn anything. They have been given free stuff their whole lives, and they honestly believe they should get the same stuff the Jews get without having to work for it.

Proof #87,456,223 that this nation is doomed...

Ok, so let´s assume that this is the real reason behind it. Why do these same people so love and adore rich rappers, black liberal politicians and NBA players?

While I don´t doubt there could be jealousy, this template does not fit. These kids are having a good old time hitting people that can´t defend themselves, a surprise sucker punch to even women. While they laugh and have a good time.

This is fun for them. I grew up AROUND these kinds of people, and they were all white. It´s a group, shared "pick on the weak and have a good time" mentality, fueled by social media.

In the 1970s I watched as a homely, hated young girl had the school bus doors closed on her jamming her in the doors (the bus driver was looking at the back wheels) while the whole bus laughed and threw things at her. Big fun. I have seen this sick behavior up close. These are sociopaths, I don´t care what their color is. Understand something Ms. Cumbo, these kids are having FUN and enjoying the experience, THAT is your problem.

It´s nothing new that Jews should be targeted. Much of that is envy of what others perceive as unwarranted success: Jews are overrepresented in monetary success, educational success, medicine, science, literature, Nobel and Pulitzer prizes (when they meant something), art and entertainment. As a group, they outstrip their ratio to the population in success in these areas.

However, they are also overrepresented in sex crimes, pornography and white collar crimes. They are also stereotypically involved in excesses of usury, nastiness and penuriousness.

This councilwoman has taken a kernel of truth and, as usual, built her black liberation theology around it, choosing a white minority to blame. Jews are handy. They always were. Go back to biblical times and it´s always the Jews who take the hit yet they are always blamed as the perpetrators.

...she was looking to “offer possible insight as to how young African American/Caribbean teens” think and how it can lead to the attacks.

She can stop looking for "insight". I have her answer: We don´t want to know "how". Knowing "how" won´t stop it. "Young African American" teens will find any excuse to claim foul or poverty, then blame other people for their dismal failures rather than looking toward their own culture of death and violence and their fractured "family" life for answers.

Democrats and their plantation mentality are to blame for this. Change the black culture of broken families, entitlements and gimmees and you will no longer have to look for Jews to blame.

It´s not Jews or Republicans who are to blame. Look no further than all the liberal-run black cities for the decay and the corruption and violence you find in the black community.

And no. The race card no longer works.

What gibberish.

Black thugs play "knockout" to prove to their friends how tough and unafraid they are. Toughness and fearlessness are prized qualities in the dysfunctional inner city culture.

Beyond that, inner city thugs don´t WANT "success" as defined by Jews or whites or even blacks who´ve made it in the larger culture. They demonstrate their contempt of that system and those people by preying on it and them. "Knockout" is part of that mindset.

As Blacks won´t rise to the Jewish level of productivity and resulting affluence, Jews need to change their behavior so as to drop down to the levels of a typical local person of color. Hang around the home/hood (or the ´chood´) more - and drink lots of malt liquor. (Although MD20/20 would be a more appropriate substitute - it is made by Mogen David).

Pretty soon we´ll be hearing stuff from the brothers like, ´´Don´t be messin´ around with them black hats. They be real bad!´´

Lewis argues that many high-frequency trading firms make money by essentially trading in front of large orders that they can see coming in before anyone else, thanks to super-fast data connections with stock exchanges. President Obama came to office nursing dreams "of forging a new partnership" with a stubborn rival. When times got tough, he abandoned the relationship and adopted dusty zero-sum gain policies of his predecessors. To allies and rivals alike, he looks naïve, weak, and disconnected. Francis´ decision in 2013 to perform the Holy Thursday ritual on women and Muslim inmates at a juvenile detention center helped define his rule-breaking papacy just two weeks after his election. It riled traditionalist Catholics, who pointed to the Vatican´s own regulations that the ritual be performed only on men since Jesus´ 12 apostles were men.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) told NBC´s "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "[T]hese elections, particularly the Senate elections, are referendums on the candidates running," she said. Asked about vulnerable Democrats who have criticized President Obama´s flawed healthcare law, Wasserman Schultz said they are running their own race. "They have to talk about and focus on the issues that are important to their constituents. And what´s also true is, if you look at the success rate and the track record of

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. References to Mrs. Clinton’s role in the policy first appeared in a November 2012 USAID action memo, which outlined how U.S. officials made a “strategic foreign-assistance

An unholy alliance between the Tea Party and the teachers’ unions threatens to derail the most promising education reform in decades. From the left: Education icon Diane Ravitch says the Common Core represents a “utilitarian view of education” that is too focused on testing, data, and accountability. From the right, “ObamaCore” is denounced as federal intrusion. Heritage Foundation education fellow Lindsey Burke calls it “an effort to impose a uniform, standardized curriculum across the country.” From the further right, the always
