The Laughable Liberal
´Moral Imperative´

American Thinker, by Trevor Thomas

Original Article

Here the liberals go again: trying with all their might to prop up an increasingly unpopular piece of legislation. This time, no less than Robert Reich has attempted to take the "moral" high road and claim that there is a "moral imperative" to ObamaCare. Reich noted that recently he heard a young man express that he would rather pay a penalty than be forced by law to purchase health insurance. According to Reich, the young man asked, "Why should I pay for the sick and the old?" Reich´s answer is telling: "The answer is he has a responsibility to do so,

The only difference between Robert Reich and an "urban outdoorsman" (Rush´s term for panhandlers) is the sophistication of Reich´s begging.

Reich is little more than a Hare Krishna asking for a donation. The Hare Krishna wants your money while criticizing your materialistic job.

Hey, Reich, lose your liberal tripe. The last thing we need to hear is moralistic imperatives from a professional panhandler.

Well Mr. Reich just how morally imperative was it to pass a hugely unpopular bill through seldom used parliamentary tricks, threats, buy offs, in the middle of the night with just one Marxist progressive party voting it in?

I wish someone would ask Robert Reich where in the Constitution that "moral imperative" is to provide for some else´s healthcare. Oh never mind it´s in the same "Article" that permitted unborn children to be murdered. My mistake.

Reich is a Nazi if he thinks that ~ we have no moral imperative ever to give up more of our substance to the government than the government demands directly. One of the things our Constitution does is require the state to declare what is a tax ~ I think Roberts said that eh!

This trick of using a hidden cross-subsidization method to get more money out of some taxpayers to give to other taxpayers is very much akin to the Nazi system of social and employment group membership fees!

Anyway the young man that Comrade Reich so rudely accused of selfishness could have said "I already pay Medicare tax at the source. Do you really believe, Mr. Government Knows Best, that my Medicare contributions are posted to a personal account?" Reich was also the guy who recently had the brilliant idea of allowing the city of detroit to annex chunks of suburban SE Michigan until it could loot enough to solve its fiscal problems! Could you imagine Greater Detroit stretching all the way to Toronto?

"Robert Reich, once Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Labor and now a professor at Berkeley, has been outspoken about how greedy conservatives are. Conservatives believe in “reviving social Darwinism” and because of conservatives, “America has placed too high a value on selfishness.”

But when he ran for governor of Massachusetts in 2002, he was all but forced to release his tax returns. It’s not a pretty picture. Reich’s 1040 reveals an income of more than $1 million, much of it giving speeches to corporations and universities for up to $40,000 a pop. He contributed just $2,714 to charity, or .2 percent of his income — note the decimal — and not all of that was cash. Part of it was the value of a donation of a used drum set to an organization called City of Peace."

It´s the religion of the Marxist Democrats being forced upon everybody, government of tyranny. Morals cannot be legislated when it comes to Christian religion, but in the name of Marxist democrat government of tyranny morals can be legislated. Redistribution of your money to others forcing everyone into nothingness, except those whom the Marxist democrats have illegally exempted.

It is indeed laughable to think that liberals have morals. When they create their social legislation, like LBJ´s New Deal, they wind up destroying, rather then helping. They only know how to punish productive producers.

To have morals, you have to be willing to accept responsibility for your actions. Liberals spend their entire lives trying to figure out how to escape responsibility. It is called kicking the can down the road.

At Thanksgiving, a family member´s in-law, a psychology professor (small community college), started conversation about football, and he said that he does not watch it so much anymore because of all the young men who have been hurt in the game, and mentioned several players who have committed suicide.

So I interjected that the cause might also have something to do with all the drugs they take for pain and the taking of steroids.
Of course, he discounted that because he´s typical atheist/leftist/liberal, and pharmaceuticals are their communions.

I can see, though, how their brainwashing can have an effect on their students.
Imagine all the kids Robert Reich has converted to his thinking - scary because I can see influence on family member.

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. "Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked. "No, I´ve always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media. In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. Suddenly ObamaCare is a roaring success, happy days are here again and liberals are euphoric, or claim to be. There are more than a few reasons to doubt this new fairy tale, not least the behavior of Senate Democrats running for re-election this year.
