Netanyahu orders Mossad to
expose Iranian breaches of
interim deal

Times of Israel, by Staff

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the heads of Israel’s intelligence community to look for proof that Iran is violating an interim deal signed with the international community last week over its nuclear program, a British newspaper reported on Sunday. The Israeli spying effort to expose Iranian duplicity represents a direct challenge to US President Barack Obama’s efforts, it said. Mossad, as well as the IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate, have been told to dig up evidence of Iranian duplicity ahead of Obama’s push to win support for the deal in Congress and thus head off legislators’ demands for further sanctions

What will happen if Mossad finds proof that Iran is not violating the terms of the deal (which would conflict with the preferred outcome - the preferred outcome being to find that Iran is violating the terms of the deal)?

Iran is very reliable in it´s actions. The Mossad should have no problem finding breaches of the "agreement". Of course the agreement hasn´t been "finalized" so Obama can move the goalposts when the breaches are revealed.

This appears to be the "trust but verify" part of the equation. Obama speaks the words but Netanyahu takes the action. If Obama is serious about "trust but verify" he should be thanking Netanyahu for doing the job for him.

Hillary Clinton and Univision have joined together to work on a new initiative for Hispanic children, allowing the prospective 2016 Democratic candidate to partner with the massively popular Spanish-language network. This week, Clinton introduced a new effort with Univision, called Pequeños y Valiosos, a project of her “Too Small to Fail” initiative for early-childhood issues that will focus on helping Hispanic children five years and younger to develop language skills. As the Washington Post notes, “the agreement with Univision provides her with a bridge to the nation’s fast-growing and politically influential Hispanic community.” Univision consistently ranks among the most-watched networks on American

The reason that I believe it would have been a giant, great pay-off if there were a massive education information campaign to instruct people on ideology -- who liberals are, what they do, how to identify them, and how you don´t want it -- is rooted in the belief that I think a vast majority would reject it. I think most people who vote for liberals do not really know what they´re doing. Now, there are some true believers. Don´t misunderstand. I know this. This is why I still have

Being arrested in Chicago for, say, drug possession or assault gets you sent to the Cook County Jail to be fingerprinted, photographed and X-rayed. You’ll also get help applying for health insurance. At least six states and counties from Maryland to Oregon’s Multnomah are getting inmates coverage under Obamacare and its expansion of Medicaid, the federal and state health-care program for the poor. The fledgling movement would shift to the federal government some of the more than $6.5 billion in annual state costs for treating prisoners. Proponents say it also will make recidivism rarer, because inmates released with coverage are more

President Barack Obama has told Senate Democrats that he´s willing to stay away from election battles where his presence would not be helpful, a Democratic source said -- an apparent nod to his poll numbers. Obama´s comments came when he and former President Bill Clinton attended the Senate Democrats´ issues conference at Nationals Park on Wednesday. Sources at the meeting said Obama assured Democrats that maintaining control of the Senate is his top priority this year. "I don´t remember him (Obama) saying he wouldn´t be offended if he wasn´t invited (to help campaign), but he certainly acknowledged how low his numbers are in

Poverty used to mean going hungry. These days--at least in the developed West, and especially in America--it means getting hungry, consuming loads of inexpensive carbohydrates, and becoming fat and unhealthy. It´s progress of a sort, but those concerned with social uplift aren´t wrong to see a problem here. But their assumptions about its cause and solution have been tested and found wanting. As National Journal´s Clara Ritger describes it: With the obesity epidemic in full swing and millions of American [sic] living in neighborhoods where fruits and vegetables are hard to come by, the Obama administration thought it saw a solution:

She makes a good case that the argument she´s rebutting is fallacious, then concludes by committing the same fallacy in reverse. "Economists have done studies showing that if you snapped your fingers and suddenly all the country´s poor, unmarried partners were hitched . . . the poverty rate would drop," a catchy if imprecise way of saying that there is a strong correlation

We don´t expect much in the way of sound economic reasoning from liberals, but listening to their reaction to the latest findings on ObamaCare left us dumbstruck. The Congressional Budget Office estimated on Tuesday that the Affordable Care Act will reduce the number of full-time workers by 2.5 million over the next decade. That is mostly a good thing, a liberating result of the law. Of course, Republicans immediately tried to brand the findings as “devastating” and stark evidence of President Obama’s health care reform as a failure and a job killer. It is no such thing. (SNIP) The new law will free people, young and old, to pursue careers or retirement without having to worry about health coverage.

The Affordable Care Act, aka ObamaCare, became law almost four years ago. It became operational last Oct. 1. Yesterday, Feb. 4, 2014, the ACA may well have been dealt its death blow. The Congressional Budget Office released a major study of the government’s budget and its effect on the overall economy over the next 10 years. In dull bureaucratic language, it delivers a devastating analysis of the inefficiencies, ineffectualities and problematic social costs of ObamaCare. The one-two punch: Virtually as many Americans will lack health coverage in 10 years as before the law was passed — but 2 million fewer

The White House and congressional Democrats tried to limit the fallout Wednesday from the politically damaging conclusion in a Congressional Budget Office report that the Obamacare entitlement creates a major incentive for some people not to work. While some critics focused on a finding by the CBO that Obamacare will result in 2.5 million fewer workers over a decade, conservatives said the bigger fundamental issue highlighted in the report is one familiar to the welfare state — that taxpayer-funded government subsidies provide disincentives for full-time work. “People used to be stuck in jobs because they needed the health insurance,” said
