Teen Playing ´Knockout Game´
Shot Twice by Victim

Breitbart Big Government, by AWR Hawkins

Original Article

A teen playing the "Knockout Game" in Lansing, Michigan unwittingly targeted a concealed carry permit holder and was shot twice. He survived and is now in jail. As Breitbart News previously reported, the "Knockout Game" thrives in areas where victims are unarmed. In the "game," teens approach a stranger on the sidewalk or in an alley and punch the stranger in an attempt to knock him or her out. A punch that results in a knockout scores one point. WILX in Lansing reported that teenager Marvell Weaver, who is black, tried to knock out a father who was standing at

Why are these judges giving just one year in jail for an admitted multiple offender? This is a race based hate crime!
If white teens were targeting and knocking out black or hispanic adults in multiple cities around the country, it would be on the news every day and the justice department would be getting involved.

A black attempting to knock out a ´polar bear´. No racism here. Turn it around though and if the ´polar bear´ had killed the black, it would be racism. I´m really, really surprised the ´polar bear´ wasn´t arrested anyway.

Who says Michigan is lost?? Not too many "players" in the ole "knockout game" in Detroit or any part of Michigan, because even thugs aren´t THAT dumb. BTW, why not call it what it really is: a gang of cowardly-trayvon-obama-lookalikes out hunting "polar bears"? "knockout game" sounds like a child´s game, and the viciousness of the vermin out there is hardly a "game".

The assault on the second amendment drawing to its logical conclusion: free and open assault on citizens.

This is exactly the kind of crap we can expect going forward as our federal and state governments make it near impossible to carry concealed.

I wasn´t able to find the news I was looking for on this but the Breitbart article has a serious deficiency: No date. Thre was an attack jjust like this 3-6 months ago and I think this was it, seeing as the perp is already sentenced... can´t tell why this is just making the rounds now.

On Drudge there IS a recent self defense story. It´s about a 60 year old woman who got her gun ready when she was that she was being looked at by 7 black teens. She was hit once, pulled her gun and shot 5 times. Two perps are dead.

Rules of journalism should always apply. Who, what, when, where, why. You may keep the ´victim´ anonymous... but the ´when´ MUST be there.

BINGO! #s 12 and 13.

Last sentence: Weaver is now serving one year in jail.

The article didn´t make sense for news in real time.

This didn´t just happen yesterday. Why are we just now hearing about it? I would say we all have a pretty good idea of why we didn´t hear about it when it happened.

Lansing, Michigan covered it up as best they could. The fact that Weaver survived helped in the cover-up.

Weaver admitted to 6 or 7 other attacks. We didn´t hear about those, either.

I despise the Communist Media.

Trayvon Martin was playing a version of this when he circled back - instead of going to the condo where his father´s "fiancee" lived - and suckerpunched George Zimmerman. He was a fan of this per his social networking messages and photos on his iPhone and online. He was also a fan of mixed martial arts, which he employed once GZ was on the ground.

One photo or video on his phone dowed other youths taking down a homeless man. One of the elements of the knockout is that someone else records the event and then it is posted online

Yesterday, on another thread, I posted the following reply, which I believe is even more appropriate today:

Just watch! The number of Concealed Carry Permits are going to go through the roof. I’m referring to “Self-Issued” Concealed Carry Permits, of course.

I predict that many handgun owners, whose permits are not of the “Concealed Carry” variety, will nevertheless begin carrying their weapons concealed, in spite of the illegality of their actions. Every human being’s strongest instinct is self-preservation.

See, the problem here is that most of the punchers are unarmed. So if they´re shot BEFORE doing significant injury, the shooter is in for a world of legal trouble, but if the shooter waits, he may land up unconscious. I´m all for blowing these punks away, but the first one that gets shot without a taser in his hand will be Trayvon redux.

Situational awareness is key. Move away from any group of black teens. If they then come near enough to punch, at least you can argue pursuit and disparity of force in your legal defense.

These are a criminal element doing dangerous life threatening acts on the public.
A shoot to kill decree should be offered or defend yourself with any means possible.
Remember Bernard Goetz how he handled the thugs but I do think he got sued by one who survived.

Is everyone here aware that Knockout was what Traygone was probably "playing" when he sucker punched GZ? Am I the only one who has been unaware of that for going on two years?

I read the Cashill article earlier. Obviously before my second cup of coffee gave my brain the jolt it needed.

Reading the comments here, I´m just now connecting up the fact that this "game" has been going on a lot longer than has been reported -a LOT longer.

Traygone has been Gone coming up on two years. In all of the reading that I did during the run-up to the trial, I do not recall ever seeing Knockout mentioned.

I´ve only been hearing about Knockout for perhaps a month, and only because FOX is reporting it. I don´t remember seeing it in print, and certainly no on the air.

I´ve been hearing about hate crime attacks by black mobs on whites, but not this one-on-one Knockout crime.

The Communist Media has sure covered up well for the 0mugabe Look-Alikes.

The perps are teens - between 13 and 19 - and to them it is indeed a game. Something done for sport and recorded and posted online by a friend/accomplice. They get points for each knockout.

Sad but true.

Maybe it´s time to dig out the old VCR tape of Death Wish 3, which was far more of a comedy than a drama. At first, Paul Kersey takes parecl post delivery of a .475 Wildey magnum (Kersey: "A .475 Wildey magnum is a shorter version of the African big game cartridge, it makes a real mess"). The Giggler would to his eternal regret go up against Kersey´s Wildey and finish second. The police chief (the ubiquitous Ed Lauter), looking at the Giggler´s well-plugged remains, says, "Jeez, there´s not much left of him."

Then Kersey upgrades his weaponry, the better to deal with gang leader Mandy Fraker--yes, that´s his real name!--and his integrated Rainbow Goon Squad. Oh, Mandy!

Rodriguez (Rodriguez is Kersey´s neighbor, whose wife was murdered by Fraker´s gang.): [to Kersey, about the package just arrived in the mail] "What is it?"

Paul Kersey: "A LAWS missile launcher. Anti tank, anti personnel. These rounds are self propelling, armour piercing. The round arms three feet out of the barrel. Won´t do me much good though, unless I can get them bunched...."

Rodriguez: "All I got is a zip gun."

Paul Kersey: "Well, we should get a few of them...."

Hate to spoil the ending for you, but they do get quite a few of them. They also employ an M-60 machine gun with long belts (probably the whole nine yards) of .30 caliber ammo. Hey, it´s New Yawk, where almost nobody claims to have military weaponry, but does. But what else would you expect from the ultra-resourceful Paul Kersey?

Somewhere I read a report that several of the knockout victims in New York were orthodox Jews, so police are treating those attacks as hate crimes. I heartily agree.

But isn´t any attack by a group of blacks on a white, Asian, or Hispanic person a hate crime? Especially when they call it "hunting polar bears?"

First of all, this is not a "game". It´s "premeditated assault with intent to do great bodily harm."

Secondly, Sean Hannity reported today that four people have been killed in these assaults.

Now you can call it "premeditated murder".

Finally, if there ever was a case for preserving the Second Amendment and concealed carry this is it.

We now have packs of feral black male teenagers roaming in public assaulting people, most of them racially profiled "Polar Bears", and proudly posting their crime on U-Tube.

Anarchy anyone? Jesse? Al? Black leaders?

Whatever happened to police decoys? Have ´em pose as vulnerable or indigents and wander the streets. When the COWARDLY perps come along and try their luck, police need to defend themselves and then arrest the vermin. Trouble comes when the police fill out their reports which show that 98% of the perps are blacks assaulting whites. That´s when that decoy program fades away under protests of "profiling". If authorities and media continue to pooh-pooh these assaults can vigilantes be far behind?

For that reason it is proliferating. Spreading.

If we deny that that is what is going on here, what they think they are doing, we miss the point. They must be stopped.

As a young reporter, I once expressed shock at how routinely and reflexively government officials lied to the press. A savvy newspaper vet who overheard me just smiled and told me not to take it personally. “Why shouldn’t they lie to you?” the late, great Murray Kempton asked. “They lie to themselves all the time.” His observation came back to me as I read about President Obama’s trip to Asia. He’s going, the White House says, to tell our allies face to face that America is committed more than ever to their security and prosperity. In ordinary times, the trip and

WASHINGTON — Curt Clawson, a businessman who was little known months ago in Southwest Florida, won a contentious GOP primary Tuesday to fill the U.S. House seat left open by the scandalous downfall of Trey Radel.Clawson, 54, pitched himself as an outsider against more established candidates and was embraced by the tea party. He poured more than $2 million into television ads. In one, the former Purdue basketball player challenged President Barack Obama to a three-point contest. The Bonita Springs resident took about 38 percent of the vote in the Congressional District 19 race, besting several rivals, including state Sen.

IRS employees who had been disciplined for tax and conduct issues were nonetheless rewarded with monetary awards or time off, according to a watchdog report released Tuesday. The report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration found that while for the most part the reward program for IRS workers complied with federal regulations, employees who had themselves failed to pay their federal taxes and had discipline problems were also rewarded. "While not prohibited, providing awards to employees who have been disciplined for failing to pay federal taxes appears to create a conflict with the IRS’s charge of ensuring the

It seems only yesterday, before the soothing elixir of “hope and change” was spoonfed to us by present-President Barack Obama, that Republicans could disagree with Democrats without being branded “teabaggers,” KKK-members, anarchists, Nazis, bomb throwers, arsonists, political terrorists or extremists. The unspeakable crime of conservatives? Their heartless desire to live their own lives and to be left alone by the bullying U.S. government. What has been the conservative outcry since disco was still a thing? Follow the Constitution, be fiscally responsible, and restore limited government. Not to impose their will on anyone; and if anything, simply to work, prosper, express

SPRINGFIELD — As the General Assembly heads into its final month of session, House Speaker Michael Madigan said Tuesday that he doesn’t have enough votes lined up yet to extend the state’s income tax increase or raise the minimum wage. The speaker, talking to reporters the day he was easily elected to a fifth term as Illinois Democratic Party chairman, said voting to keep the personal income tax rate at 5 percent instead of letting it fall to 3.75 percent on Jan. 1 will be a “difficult roll call.” “Every person in the legislature is going to be called upon

How often have you heard a Democrat prattle on and on about how well Barack Obama has done with the economy, given the mess he inherited? Usually, it’s some version of, “Things are getting better, but the economy the President started with was so awful, so he’s done as well as anyone could expect.”When Ronald Reagan took over from Jimmy Carter in ’81, things were actually worse economically compared to when Obama took over from George W. Bush in ’08. Consider these three important comparisons of economic indicators, then and now: - Unemployment was at 10.8% versus 7.7% - Inflation (Consumer

Tea leaf readers may want to pay close attention to a staff change at the White House. The lawyer who claims that “when an IRS audit found that the tax collection agency had been targeting conservative political groups,” it was her “decision not to tell the president about the findings, in an attempt to shield Obama from charges he interfered in the investigation” is being replaced with a lawyer who is a veteran of the scandals in the Clinton White House, including Whitewater, and who represented him in the Monica Lewinsky investigation. The Citizens Commission on Benghazi, a self-selected group of former top military officers, CIA insiders and think-tankers, declared Tuesday in Washington that a seven-month review of the deadly 2012 terrorist attack has determined that it could have been prevented – if the U.S. hadn´t been helping to arm al-Qaeda militias throughout Libya a year earlier. ´The United States switched sides in the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures,´ Clare Lopez, a member of the commission and a former CIA officer, told MailOnline. The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it? It´s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall. Asked, "How often do you think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters?" 37% replied "most of

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

Today is Earth Day. Fox News’ The Five opened its show with a nearly 15 minute segment titled “Earth Day Hysteria.” The goal appeared to be to prove that scientists’ warnings about climate change are overblown and should be ignored if not outright mocked and co-host Eric Bolling was the ringleader of the effort. But he found an adversary in Bob Beckel, who challenged the status quo by presenting actual data on the rise of CO2 levels from NASA, of all places. But before Beckel got to his chart, Bolling took some time to “praise” President Barack Obama for what
