The beginning of the end
for Barack Obama

Washington Times, by Joseph Curl

Original Article

Posted By:ketchuplover, 11/18/2013 1:29:15 AM

Second-term presidents in the past 30 years have had some pretty embarrassing news conferences, full of frank admissions of failure, submissive spasms of shame and groveling, grieving apologies. Bill Clinton had to admit that he actually did have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky; George W. Bush finally thought of something he might have done wrong; his dad had to explain all those new taxes after his unequivocal pledge; and even Ronald Reagan ate crow over the Iran-Contra affair. But there has never, ever, been a more pitiful presser than the one conducted last week by President Obama.

Guess it´s time for another round of talk-show appearances....maybe... Dr. Phil?

Oh, the crowing! "He´s done!", "He´s toast!" -

Well, he´s still the President. All the idiot needs is a bigger crisis than this Øbamacare disaster. And that, my friends, can easily be manufactured- or plop right into his lap.

It´s way too early for this jack-wagon to be in this much trouble. Unles he gets ejected, and that is not likely to happen - we have much more to come from this petty little hollow man.

This may be the beginning of Obama becoming a lame duck, but him really being a lame duck will not happen until after the Democrats get hit hard in the 2014 election and loose control of the US Senate.

Perhaps a round of every Sunday morning talk show might work right after Thanksgiving. That could be the beginning of the new beginning. Lather the past lies with even bigger and sweeter ones and his drones will suck it up like a 15 pound bass on a night crawler. They love his lies like a fat kid loves cake.

Pretty sure that if George Bush the elder had had a second term, Bill Clinton would not have had to apologize for anything except maybe for marrying that woman.

First it was the Admin´s incessant focus on the stupid web site and a promise to get it fixed by Dec. 1.

Big whoop!

The real problem, finally verbalized by Obama after 3 years, is the internal mechanics of the bill and the calculations that are punishing everyone.

If the web site is tweaked up to perfection, all that will do is to speed people faster to sticker shock.

These best and brightest types are no better than a 60 watt bulb.

Oh, don´t worry about Dear Leader. They´re busy thinking up yet another distraction, and in collusion with the Enemedia yet another concocted blame-game will be rolled out soon (war on women 2.0? youtube anti-islamists? the 1.5%?) to make President Gutsy Call look like Mr. Hero again. Don´t worry, it´s in the pipes. And ways will be found to bury the fact that every Democrat and every single Obama-worshipping "journalist" was in on the lies, pushing them as far, and as dishonestly, as they could. So on the whole, I´d say things are looking up for Dear Leader´s reputation.

Obama is probably blissfully unaware that he has been outed as a serial liar. I doubt the people around him inform him of anything except his next tee time. Obama is not a serious person. He is a narcissist who believes he is above us all. He can´t see that he has become a joke. He has no credibility and it couldn´t happen to a more deserving person. However, his minions will try and rehabilitate him. They will attempt to repackage him and send him out on an charm offensive. Hopefully this time it will prove to be all offensive and no charm. The man is a fraud, an empty suit, and liar.

This is a delicious article. In truth, Obama lost ALL credibility with me long before he left Skip Gates to hobble down the back steps on the arm of the ´´offending´´ police officer after the Beer Summit. (To be fair, BHO never had much credibility with me to begin with.)

Correct, #2. Homeland Security is using pictures of women and children for target practice. The military is being purged of high-ranking officers who object to troops firing on civilians. The Marxist Mulatto´s private army grows unabated. Local police are being militarized and are murdering innocent citizens every week. Stay tuned (till they shut down the internet) for martial law.

We’ve all seen videos of the collapse of large, sturdy buildings brought down by well-placed explosive charges. What we are witnessing today is like those videos. We are seeing the crumbling of political structures that recently seemed invincible. What we do not know is how extensive is the destruction. Obama’s second-term agenda is certainly eroding. His health-care overhaul will probably fall. The question is how much of the Democratic party will be demolished or weakened. And, most important, will the fall out affect the suffocating hold that the media now has on the minds of the American public.

Just say it, just write it, tell everyone you know that Zerobama is going to have to resign.

It´s necessary to save the democrats in congress from total destruction at the polls and to save the MSM´s credibility.

Spread the word. It´s how THEY do it. Give them a dose of their own medicine.

It might just work and it doesn´t matter that the MSM has no credibility as long as they think they do.

In order for this to be "the end" of Obama, you´d have to emasculate most of his Agencies including the DOJ and the EPA and the IRS and HHS, who are the ones doing the actual work. (Obama is too lazy to work.)

Then you would have to fire his czars, who have been eerily quiet lately. Then you would have to watch dawn break over the MSM regarding Benghazi and NSA. And THEN, you would need to fix the voting software that flips Republican votes to default to Democrat votes.

Obama isn´t over until Congressional Democrats realize and care about the carnage his policies have wrought more than they care about their own careers.

Im so sick of hearing the comparison to Bush and Katina! Really??!! How desperate can they be in the MSM (and of course the minions around Obama giving out this talking point) to compare the two?

It´s not the 2nd term blues, it´s not that he is tired and got caught in a web of innocent bureaucracy. If there had been a few more honest DEM politians in Washington, this idiot would never have seen the inside of the Oval Office to begin with. And then when all else fails.. they point to Congress´ approval numbers like that should prove something! sick and childish

The man didnt just all of sudden get caught... we all knew what he was 5 years ago. But according to the article, all it took was for Bubba to bring him down and release the weak to oppose him. This should scare the crap out of anyone feeling joy at O´s demise right now.

Interesting--apparently from an insider´s comprehension of our shining city in the swamp.

The gratuitous swipe at W is obligatory to preserve his standing among his peers. Note that W´s downfall commenced when he revealed plans to reform entitlements.Katrina was merely a pretext. These ´turning points´ center on scandals that are relatively minor, but pumped by media indignation.

It´s not Congress, the White House or the Courts that determine the course of this country--we´re ruled by a consensus of the cabal of elites, talking heads and their bureaucratic accomplices.

I don´t find much comfort in this.

You can all be optimistic but I´m not. Obama will survive with his communist propaganda media and help from the spineless "I want some too and want to be liked" do nothing Republicans. As soon as Obama can get a few dimwits like Udall and others to call it a bipartisan ´fix´ his bacon will be saved. No nibbling around the edges will fix this it needs to be repeal and Obama wields the veto pen.

Obama is our first whack-a-mole President. While we are dealing with one crisis or issue he is busy creating the next one. Don´t think for a minute that his army of flying monkeys have stood down. Like others here, I´m not ready to pop the cork until I see Obozo locked out of the oval office. Permanently. He and his crowd will find a way to survive this storm. Though there is on way that just might keep it in the news. That is for the Republicans to let in be know as often as they can that these "fixes" are only going to last for no more that a year. That means after the 2014 elections. And then it´s back to pedal to the metal. And peoples policies will be canceled and you will be faced with the same high priced policies that you are today. And that means even if they manage to have a smooth operating web site. Which I don´t think they will. There are still bugs in any Windows operation system you use.

#41, when the debate was over, it was over. Obamacare is the gift that keeps on giving, cancellation after stratospheric premium after lost family doctor. We have no way of getting back at Obama except the unlikely scenario of impeachment. But we can and will get back at the Democrat Congressmen and Senators who gave us this horrible mess. As constituents find their health care coverage stripped from them because of Obamacare, Congressmen and Senators will find their phones ringing off the hook asking for help. If there is no help to give, they can expect to be blamed and unelected in 2014 and 2016. This may not rid us of Obama, but it does provide a powerful incentive for them to gut Obamacare and figure out another way to handle health insurance.

FTA: “When we look back three years from now at the end of his presidency, we’re going to all say this was the tipping point of his relevancy.” And the president knows it.

I don´t believe for one second 0bama thinks that. He was just trying to give cover to the Democrats in that horrific press conference. Other than that, everything is going according to his plan to destroy the insurance companies in order to achieve socialised medicine. 0bama is going to get more dangerous because he will now use executive orders more and more. And since he has met with no resistence nothing will stop him.

In his funereal news conference, he sought to once again sow division and dissension — his go-to M.O. In a desperate gambit, he suggested that insurers re-offer the plans they have been canceling because of Obamacare. The intent: If Americans pay more for health care under his program now, it’s not his fault — it’s those heartless insurance companies! He hopes the discord will help in 2014.

It appears that just wanting to be The Won isn´t enough - you have to bring more to the table than just a career in community organizing. And zero is not only learning the hard way, he´s learning in the public eye.

The arrogant narcissist is getting his comeuppance in a way that deflates his bloviating balloon.

And, it couldn´t happen to a more deserving person!

Joe, it is NOT the beginning of the end for Obama, not by a long shot. After he is gone if he ever goes away, a worse than Obama will take his place. In the mean time, he has three years and, while you and your pals cry doom for Obama, he is gleefully carrying out, unimpeded what he does best, destroying the nation with more and more tyrannical Marxism right in front of your eyes while you focus only on the misdirection. Google Penn and Teller clear cups and balls trick to help you understand, especially if you are from Rio Linda). The complete and total end of the United States happened in November 2006 and it´s never coming back. What you and other journalists refuse to see because you park your rear ends in DC is the nation is over and the voters did it. Wake up and smell the coffee. Get some reality dust and sprinkle it over your head. While you´re at it, send a few pallets to the GOP.

In 2012 - we won´t reelect obozo - everybody knows who he is, what he´s already done. Supreme Court won´t confirm obozo-care law - unconstitutional! And remember how all these times leftists were absolutely confident.
The problem #1 - we don´t have conservative charismatic leader who would start the movement!

Mickey Rooney, the pint-sized actor who was one of MGM’s giant box office attractions in the late ’30s and early ’40s, died on Sunday. He was 93. As adept at comedy as drama and an excellent singer and dancer, Rooney was regarded as the consummate entertainer. During a prolific career on stage and screen that spanned eight decades (“I’ve been working all my life, but it seems longer,” he once said), he was nominated for four Academy Awards and received two special Oscars, the Juvenile Award in 1939 (shared with Deanna Durbin) and one in 1983 for his body of work.

Vampires, nudists, snakes: Nobody

Last week, news broke that a congressional candidate in Gainesville had a secret pastime: impersonating vampires. And superheroes. Some people would call this nutty. In Florida, we just call it Tuesday. Seriously, that´s not even our highest-profile vampire story. Remember the "vampire killings" from Lake County? Some of our stories are heartbreakingly tragic. But so many are also mind-numbingly strange. In Florida, we do weird the way Kansas does wheat. Here, giant pet snakes escape. And breed. And then invade our national parks. We have fish that eat people, alligators that eat people and people who eat people.

One of the latest tools targeting the growing problem of texting while driving didn´t come out of Apple, Google or Microsoft. It was the brainchild of two Orlando-area entrepreneurs who recently launched a new mobile app called Txt Shield. The idea behind Txt Shield, which runs on Android phones, is to short-circuit any texting capability when people are cruising down the highway, according to brothers Philip and Geoffrey Stiles, co-founders and partners in Txt Shield LLC. Parents can install it on their teens´ phones; employers can put it on company-issued phones; and individuals can download it to help resist the urge to

President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security caught then released 68,000 aliens who had previously been convicted of a crime, a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. The report, provided to Breitbart News ahead of its late Sunday evening release, reviews internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) metrics to conclude that the Obama administration released 35 percent—or 68,000—convicted criminal aliens back into the U.S. general population when they could have been deported. San Jose, Calif. — A usually busy DMV office in San Jose was closed Friday after a motorist waiting to take a driver´s test crashed her car into the building and caused a gas leak. The driver declined to give her name but told KTVU she was nervous about taking the driver´s license tests because this would have been her third try. Around noon the line started to move but she said she hit the accelerator instead of the brake and rammed a motorcycle rider in front of her. Then, she said she swerved to try to avoid running over the rider and

President Obama says the thousands of Irish immigrants in the US are being denied opportunities because of the US strict immigration laws. The President was speaking the traditional Shamrock ceremony at the White House as part of the St Patrick´s Day celebrations. The issue of immigration reform was a priority for the Irish Government delegation, led by Enda Kenny. The delegation has been lobbying in Washington during the St Patrick´s Day trip for reforms to benefit the 50,000 undocumented Irish there. President Obama said too many undocumented Irish were denied the chance to contribute to society as they were not able to pay taxes

On Fox News last night, Bill O’Reilly struggled with a question he apparently finds confusing: why aren’t major news organizations covering the IRS “scandal” to his satisfaction. Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS’ tax exempt division, took the Fifth last week, but most of the media seemed indifferent. (Snip) That’s one possible explanation. But in the interest of giving O’Reilly and Goldberg something else to consider, there’s a more plausible, reality-based reason the media has lost interest in this scandal: there is no scandal. President Obama has made liberal use of "executive action" throughout his presidency, and pledged to make even more use of executive action in this year´s State of the Union speech. He seems to think that because Republicans don´t want to implement his agenda, he can go around Congress. They´ve also compiled a list of the top ten abusive executive actions taken by the President.

Public Trust: Sixty-one percent polled say President Obama lies "some of the time" or "most of the time" on matters of national importance. Americans have to ask: Why do we let him get away with it? It´s no surprise that a Fox News poll of 1,012 registered voters last week found immense distrust of a president whose main domestic initiative was based on a lie. The shock is that the same poll found his disapproval level down to its lowest since last fall. The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

But his comments on Wednesday appeared to be more direct. Asked what his "immediate plans" were, he said, according to an attendee: "I´m thinking about running for president."
