ObamaCare: Designed for Failure
American Thinker, by Charles E. Moore

Original Article

You must understand, no matter what President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid say, that ObamaCare was designed for failure, not just for itself but all the insurance companies involved. When a poison pill is ingested into the system, the body starts to die, killing off the healthy organs and itself in the process... leaving a void for something far worse to take its place. It has been the progressive´s dream since 1912 to introduce national healthcare and control one-sixth of the nation´s economy. Now that they are so close to the finish line, they needed one final push to send

Thank you Charles! I´ve been telling anyone who would listen that Obamacare was NEVER intended work. It was, in fact, designed to break the current system entirely. It was designed to break it so badly that We the People, especially the middle class, would demand action and demand that government provide them insurance since they won´t be able to get it from the private insurers who will either being hanging on by a thread via the wealthy who can afford it OR would have closed their doors because they can no longer afford to provide insurance.

It´s another version of Breaking Bad...and it´s breaking bad alright.

A MUST READ as it tells the truth!!!!! Single payer!!!!!!!! Care designed by Obama....and all those useful idiot Democrats who signed without reading are exempt, as is he....because THEY are smart and we are too dumb to choose for ourselves!. The fly in the ointment was the flummoxed roll out---otherwise there would have been some dissension by the millions who were losing their Drs. and policies, but that could be explained as "a insignificant number", a mime that has already been rolled out. Funny how millions losing their Drs. and policies and maybe their lives is no big deal, but workers losing pay (which will be repaid) during the shutdown, maybe 800,000 of them, is a blanking (Joe Bieden) big deal!!!!!!!! You have to break some eggs to make an omelet!

But then it hit me like a Mack Truck. What if the rollout was going as planned, secretly behind closed doors it was planned to fail.

How come a writer for American Thinker is only now realizing this? Rush Limbaugh, let alone thousands and thousands of us, already knew this. We tried to warn the rest of America that all this angst about the "failed" rollout wasn´t incompetence, it was sheer brilliance.

Sebelius´ "blame me" explanation did nothing. She gets credit by this administration for stonewalling and taking the pressure off, because so what if Sebelius is the fall girl? The plan still goes ahead to crash the system and get single-payer. Who cares if Obama "apologizes"? The plan is still progressing exactly as planned.

So my question is this: Now that we know the rollout AND Obamacare is designed to fail, all the while succeeding behind closed doors, what can be done?

People are still wailing about the gross incompetence of the Obamacare rollout and its subsequent application, but it´s not incompetence. It´s an insidious, deliberate and sickening success, with more success to come -- if you´re a communist.

As you long time Ldotters know, I lived behind the Iron Curtain for 3 years, in Ceaucescu´s Romania. In the Socialsit Republic of Romania, health care was reserved for Communist Party members, as were decent food, automobiles and heated homes.

Does anyone doubt that, under single payer, health care would be reserved for registered Democrats? Does anyone believe for a nanosecond that Zippy wouldn´t try to enforce it? Got pneumonia and need antibiotics? Please show your voter registration along with a photo ID. After all, we can´t have a Republican trying to pass himself off as a Demoncrat just to get treated.

Answer the question Republicans. For once in your lives do what you were sent to Washington DC to do, serve the people of this country and give them a voice. We deserve it. We demand it. Now.

When critically ill people are denied care, death occurs, how are the present government representatives going to resolve this? These citizen are hung out with no where to help.

As much as so many here (and friends on other sites) distrust federal employees, that level of distrust is exceeded only by he Leftwingtards in the current regime, and other Democrat regimes.

Think about it ~ we have self-proclaimed conservatives all over the net who get into what can only be called hissy fits when someone who´s ever worked in gub´mnt ´splains how it´s hooked together!

That, in their minds, turns you a big gub´mnt troll (as if they know all about gub´mnt and the employees don´t)

Now, imagine what the Leftwingtards do ~ hissing, snarling, clutching at their chests, puking all over conference tables (Ive seen it all) ~ the last people on the planet the Left will ask about what gub´mnt can do, or what´s the right way to go about it are the gub´mnt employees!

They´d prefer to work with a Canadian company with a bad work record ~ remember this is the same crowd that trashed gun registratioup there!!!!

Don´t credit the left with being smart neaky. They´re thuggish ~ and mean spirited!

Christian.

Gods´ Holy Bible teaches everything you need to know about living in His word.

Jesus said; I have told you all things.

People are doing exactly what God has told you they would do. Choosing a human god (man´s government) over the only true God I Am That I AM, He who created all.

Satan will control all but a remnant of Gods´ created people. That remnant of the people will have spiritual life eternal with God and His created angles.

You must really dig deeply into His Word studying hard to find out what His plan is and how it started and how it will end.

Live your life separately from those who live as Satan wants which all governments are facilitating with leadership who are not followers of God but of evil and enjoy the power given to them by Satan.

#9 is absolutely on target, and it´s not just in withholding healthcare. I´m a self-employed CPA and the bulk of my income comes from tax preparation. Federal rules mandate that I file returns electronically and this requires an ERO (electronic return originator) number and a PTIN (preparer´s tax identification number) both of which are obtained from the IRS. To make a long story short, this subjects me to a level of scrutiny that includes making sure I am current on paying my taxes. Any attempt to avoid paying the Obamacare penalty will take away my ability to earn a living. Thus I am already under their controll (or screwed.)

If this was an attempt to get to single payer, they blew it! Millions have lost their insurance, and millions more will loose theirs in the comming months. The gov´t has taken 3 years to write the regulations (and are still writing them) and have created a disaster. It would be exponentially more difficult to establish a single payer system, and take much longer. So the millions who have lost their insurance will demand gov´t health insurance and calmly wait another 10 to 15 years for the gov´t which has failled so miserably on obamacare? I just don´t see that happening.

Among the little nuggets in this article which may pass unnoticed is the goal of insurance companies to make a 3% profit. Now we know that any profit will be demonized but when you look at it this is a very efficient way to organize the health industry! Obama and his hacks can talk about the people being refused treatment but lets see a survey on how many treatments were refused by insurance companies vs Medicare and the VA etc - the agencies already controlled by the government. It may not be called profit but the gubmint waste fraud and abuse will amount to much more than 3%. A cousin of mine who was an accountant in the gubmint told me it cost $70.oo in administrative costs for a gubmint program for each dollar going to the stated purpose of the program. I think this would be typical or perhaps better than current government waste. There ought to be continual reporting of this ratio to let everyone know what government really costs! This is all worthwhile spending in the eyes of gubmint employees because it goes into their pockets. To the rest of us it is waste and it makes the 3% look very good! Why are Republicans so tongue tied they can´t make these arguments. Answer: they are on the take as well!

#15 still doesn´t get it.

It isn´t about providing a functioning healthcare system, it isn´t about making things more efficient from a socialistic ´share the burden´ point of view.

It is about power and control. They don´t need time to design and implement a system.

Well anyone with half a brain knows that it was designed to fail. DUH! When the insurance companies are forced to insure millions of people who are already in bad health, and insure every person in America,(regardless of whether they are Americans),they have to raise the premiums of their current customers. THEN they find that by raising the premium, those customers no longer qualify for the plan and they are magically kicked onto the government´s health plan.

This was a plan to make the insurance industry fail. Period.

Are they calmly accepting the fact now that they were promised to keep their plan or would be offered cheaper insurance if they wanted it and now find out it was a lie? Of course it was designed to fail, but it wasn´t designed to fail this spectacularly.

It doesn´t take a rocket surgeon to realize that if they can´t design a website, they won´t be able to handle the entire U.S. healthcare system. If they try, it will take a microsecond for people to figure out that the only people getting care will be the unions and the political elites. No wonder the Democrats are scared.

The mainstream media has repeatedly warned the public that convicted felons have been hired as Obamacare navigators. Even Nancy Pelosi admitted this. Also, we have been repeatedly warned about identity thieves. This alone would make any somewhat tech savvy person become reluctant to sign up for Obamacare unless he was desperate for healthcare. The media doesn´t seem to bring forth any facts unless the Whitehouse wants them to. Maybe this is part of the Whitehouse actually wanting these insurance companies to fail by depressing signups of anyone except the most desperate and sick.

I believe the author is correct that, forcing insurance companies to cancel policies if either a jot or a tittle was change in the last three and a half years was by design to vacate grandfathering of policies. Also, mandating all kinds special requirements on new policies was designed to make them extremely expensive and to make the insurance companies look bad and force employers to reduce or drop coverage. The Progressives have been quick to paint employers and insurance companies as greedy and evil. Sebelius was was highly successful in accomplishing these objectives through the regulations and mandates created at her direction.

However, I believe the web site fiasco was due to the arrogance and conceit of the HHS in believing that they knew better than the private sector how to create an insurance site. Site integration was done in-house by HHS. The site didn´t have glitches - small and easy to fix problems. The site was Totally And Royally Fouled Up (TARFU). It is a black eye on Obamacare. It raises the question, is the government even capable of administering Obamacare?

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

President Obama inspired a generation of young people to support his historic election in 2008. And in 2012, despite the struggles of his first term, Mr. Obama still managed to win the support of a full 60% of voters age 18-29. But the man who once dreamed of being a transformative leader in the Reagan mold is inspiring few of those young people to follow his lead. "For all the talk about the movement that elected Mr. Obama, the more notable movement of Obama supporters has been away from politics. It appears that few of the young people who voted

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
