Obama personally apologizes for
Americans losing health coverage

NBC News, by Chuck Todd

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 11/7/2013 6:46:50 PM

President Obama said Thursday that he is "sorry" that some Americans are losing their current health insurance plans as a result of the Affordable Care Act, despite his promise that no one would have to give up a health plan they liked. "I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," he told NBC News in an exclusive interview at the White House. "We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them, and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this," he added.

Comments:
Oh puhleeze!! What a pathetic, sick joke this is. He made this hollow, forced "apology" because he had to. It means absolutely nothing. It does not negate the lies he told over and over and over again. He will never do what is necessary, repeal the entire abomination known as 0bamacare!!

He even lies now.

"Some" = millions and millions.

And the President knows it.

He is only apologizing now because he got caught...and Lanny Davis last night told Megan Kelly on Fox that Americans are a forgiving people.

Obama figures they are suckers. He will not change the law. Millions will still lose their health insurance.

Note... Obama does not do a real press conference where he would have to answer questions.

Liar.

Barry needs to apologize to all Americans for lying to them. Then he must work with Congress to allow the law to be revoted based on an accurate presentation of the consequences.

FTA: "We´ve got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them, and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this," he added."

Once again, the boy who can write executive orders to change laws at will and exempt his cronies and himself from the economy buster, is "we-weeing" in his pants again. He takes no responsibility to fix this.

He has been very free with changing the law when he wants to. If he were really sorry, he´d just grant everyone a waiver or give Congress a mulligan and start over. Since he won´t do that, I doubt the sincerity of his words. As they say in ´Game of Thrones´--"Words are wind".

Just because your premiums will be higher, you will pay for benefits you do not want or will ever use, unions and buddies are getting exempt from this crap sandwich, you really didn´t like your doctor or hospital did you, high deductibles aren´t a problem, . . . Unlike most of the other lies, including this latest one entitled "apology", the lie-based Obamacare legislation has very long legs and will haunt Obama and the Democrats forever.

This destructive legislation is putting families lives and futures at risk financially, medically, and economically.

It permeates and poisons every important aspect of our lives as fathers, mothers, children, close and distant relatives, neighbors, friends, and co-workers. Did I leave any group out?

When one man, our president, does this much harm to citizens, he is no longer fit to serve the nation.

We may not be able to impeach him, but we can kick out of office all those Democrats who voted for this legislation without reading it.

Let´s clean house.

Lies on top of lies on top of lies! This guy´s only talent is to lie. He lied when he said you can keep your doctor PERIOD. He lied when he said you can keep your insurance PERIOD. Then he lied about lying about it! And he´s still lying when he says "If you had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you can keep it if it hasn´t changed since the law passed," The point here is that the laws were rigged to pile on a bunch of extra stuff that insurance companies just can´t throw in for free and when the price changed by more than a dollar they were disqualified. Like he just didn´t know and then blames the insurance companies. This wasn´t happenstance. They deliberately rigged it that way! So he lies again!
By the way. On Oct. 26, 2012, the Obamboozler said his "biggest priority" was bringing the "folks" in Libya responsible for murdering four Americans to "justice." That was over a year ago that you VOWED to "bring to justice" the perpetrators of the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya. How´s that going Mr Liar-in-Chief?
And what about that poor schmuck that you tossed into prison for making a video that suppossedly cause all that? You lied about that fairy tale as well!
Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies! He´d probably get struck by lightning if he ever told the truth!

Obama has successfully demonstrated that Democrats cannot do simple mathematics.

The objective, so they said, was to get medical insurance for 40 million uninsured Americans.

At the moment we are facing 129 million previously insured Americans losing their insurance over the next few weeks.

These people are mentally ill and should be locked up ~ and I don´t mean the uninsured, or the insured ~ just the politicians who did this to us.

The reason Americans "found themselves in this situation" is that he knowingly lied to ram through hyper-partisan health legislation without a single Republican vote - and he lied because he knew that if he told the truth, the legislation would not pass. Now he is saying it is time to move on and address the consequences of his lies.

If he gets away with this, America really is done for. If a majority of Americans are prepared to be lied to in matters of great consequence and to forgive and forget after an insincere pro forma "apology," they are no longer capable of self-government.

In his opening statement during highly anticipated testimony Wednesday on Benghazi, former CIA deputy director Michael Morell claimed to be an intelligence professional who was willing to lay out the facts -- no matter how damaging. It was sad because I knew the guy was getting out of his car to try and see what damage he did.” Sgt. Michael Woody of the Detroit Police Department told

Immigration reform advocates are fond of citing broad support for their cause. But in fact the coalition behind the Senate Gang of Eight comprehensive reform bill is fragile and loosely cobbled together. How could Big Labor and the Chamber of Commerce and the tech world and Big Agriculture all unite behind one bill? Very tentatively. It wouldn´t take much to break the coalition apart. And if that happens, the effort to enact comprehensive immigration reform could blow up, not just for the moment, but for some time to come. And there are signs that is exactly what is occurring now. Facing withering pressure to stick with the president and block any GOP effort to change Obamacare, 18 Democrats crossed the aisle to join Republicans Thursday in replacing the 30-hour work week with the traditional 40 hours, a major boost to small businesses. Voting 248-179, the House passed Indiana Republican Rep. Todd Young’s “Save American Workers Act,” which repealed Obamacare’s 30-hour definition of full-time employment. Going into the vote, Young had nine Democrats supporting the legislation and in the end 18 joined to define a work week as 40 hours. Democratic leaders leveled intense pressure on members to stick with President Obama’s preference

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said the Wednesday shooting at Fort Hood made him wish that Congress would pass expanded background checks for gun purchases. “As I was told today, this young man bought this gun a day or two before he killed these people,” Reid said. “Couldn’t we at least have background checks so that people who are ill mentally or felons shouldn’t be able to buy a gun? Even [National Rifle Association] members, the majority of them, support that.” Reid could bring such a bill back to the floor this year. “I would like to bring it back up; we

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A city board on Thursday gave a Muslim group the go-ahead to remove six crosses from the roof and spires of a century-old former Catholic church so the now-vacant Gothic structure can be used as a mosque. More than 200 people had signed an online petition calling on the Syracuse Landmark Preservation Board to deny an application by North Side Learning Center, the church´s new owner, to remove the crosses and build a six-foot chain-link fence. Before the vote to allow the church alterations, Chairman Don Radke said the board cannot interfere with a decision that involves

There has been outrage in the U.S. over Iran’s bid to have one of the hostage takers who stormed the American Embassy in Tehran serve as its ambassador to the UN in New York. Twenty-nine Republican senators have written to President Obama urging him to deny a visa to Hamid Aboutalebi, who was a member of a Muslim student group that took over the Embassy in 1979 and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days. The State Department says it’s “troubled” by the move, but has not said if it will refuse Aboutalebi a visa. Now Aboutalebi has found support

An unnamed Ft. Hood solider, speaking to CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin, said that she did not blame the man accused of shooting dozens at the base on Tuesday night for the actions he took. She said that Ft. Hood is a “black hole,” that the soldiers stationed there do not make enough money to maintain their sanity, and that the base’s quality of life is not as good as that of inmates in American prisons. “It’s a pretty chaotic state,” the unnamed solider said, confessing that Ft. Do you think members of Congress are overpaid or underpaid? Most likely you’d go with the former, but Democratic congressman Jim Moran argues it’s actually the latter. In an interview with CQ Roll Call, Moran says, “I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid.” The House recently took up a bill to freeze members’ paychecks, placing another halt on the annual cost-of-living pay increases they would normally get and keeping annual salary at $174,000. Moran believes that this is the wrong way to go, not necessarily talking about himself in particular, but saying there

According to a report via BuzzFeed’s Evan McMorris-Santoro, President Barack Obama requested the opportunity to address the nation in prime time on the major broadcast networks on Tuesday night to announce that the Affordable Care Act had reached 7 million enrollees. Those networks did not, however, accommodate the White House’s request. “Three sources familiar with the request confirmed the White House asked for the prime time slot in their effort both to emphasize a bright moment following the challenging roll out and, more important, to try to reintroduce the country to a law that remains unpopular,”

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – President Obama compared the Republican budget plan to a "stinkburger" or "meanwich" during a speech here Wednesday, using a series of zingers in an attempt to strike a contrast with the GOP on economic issues in an election year. In a speech to an enthusiastic crowd of 1,400 at the University of Michigan, Obama repeatedly mocked Republican ideas about how to improve the economy, as he touted his own proposal to raise the minimum wage. Obama, who visited the local Zingerman´s deli before the speech, said that Republican proposals to cut taxes for wealthier Americans and

Sources on the ground in Benghazi during the 2012 terror attack are pushing back hard on former CIA acting director Mike Morell´s testimony on Capitol Hill, where he defended his role in shaping the administration´s narrative and claimed politics were not involved. As part of Morell´s testimony on Wednesday, the former acting and deputy CIA director acknowledged that he overruled the guidance of the top CIA officer in Libya at the time. That official told Morell the attack was not an "escalation of protests," but Morell said he had to weigh that against analysts who concluded the opposite. He ultimately went

Big changes could be just down the road for North Carolina drivers. A proposal is in the works that would change the state tax system to charge drivers by the mile, instead of at the gas pump. The proposal would be to charge a half cent per mile for cars, which would generate almost $500 million in annual state revenue. A driver who travelled 15,000 miles in a year would pay about $75. "Basically you pay per the mile. It´s treating transportation as a utility, much like your water and sewer," said Larry Goode, with the Institute of Transportation Research and

The human kindling that makes up the flammable Republican base may soon burst into flames, again. Portions of that excitable cohort are looking — some with fawn-like eyes filled with hurt, others with sparks shooting from eyes narrowed like gun slits — askance at other Republicans urging Jeb Bush to seek the 2016 presidential nomination. A candidacy by Florida’s former governor would be desirable. But if Republicans want to avoid intra-party carnage, they should be very careful about doing what The Post recently reported: “Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a behind-the-scenes campaign to draft
