Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will meet with President Obama at the White House Thursday afternoon to plot strategy for passing comprehensive immigration reform. McCain said Obama requested the meeting, which comes at a time political momentum for immigration reform is flagging. “I’m going over to the White House this afternoon to meet with him [on] immigration reform and others,” he said. “I actually have a respectful and cordial relationship with him.” McCain and Obama need to shore up the support of wavering allies such as Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who has backed off the push to overhaul the nation´s immigration laws in a

The POS never misses an opportunity, does he?

I´m surprised Boehner, McConnell and Graham aren´t invited so they can all plot further destruction.

To correct the earlier article on Obama being a "moron", the moron is John McCain. McCain is the useful idiot for Obama, with news media surely reporting how Obama is seeking a bipartisan agreement on amnesty rather than a fight with GOP radicals. McCain is the radical, but media will portray him as the moderate. The quotes of the Hanoi Hilton Candidate will be used to besmirch Tea Party, Cruz and others who rightfully oppose amnesty.

On amnesty/immigration/open borders, there´s not a dime´s worth of difference between the Clintons, GW Bush, John McCain, and King Putt, give or take a Mitt Romney. Republican electorate (and in fact most people nationwide) oppose it, but we get it anyway.

Silicon valley wants amnesty to bring in programmers from Pakistan and India, Big Ag (Farma?) wants a few million low wage field hands, Big construction wants cheap foreign labor, the ´Rats want new underclass voters, Mother Church wants new parishioners butting their donations in the collection basket, food processors want their 8 buck an hour chicken pluckers, Mickey D´s and Burger Biggie wants burger flippers that aren´t agitating for $15.00/hour. Meanwhile real unemployment is between 12 and 17% depending on how it´s calculated, and 90 million working age Americans aren´t working. The only bulwark against the invasion is the Tea Partiers and like minded concerned voters. Pass the Senate version of "immigration reform" and kiss your country good-bye. Game. Set. Match.

2. No rational person can look at what has happened to America since Obama took office and think he is anything but one of the most successful enemies America ever faced [whether by design, incompetence, or what have you]. Given that, anything less than tooth-and-nail opposition to him abets his snowballing destruction of the country.

I think McCain is now listening to his embarrassingly awful daughter, Meghan, who has a show—yes, I´m not lying—on some remote cable channel where she humiliates herself on some kind of regular schedule. I tuned in by accident and watched until I was close to bending over to barf. And guess what? There was daddy expressing his pride in this fat, bleached bleached Shirley Temple dumpling as she spewed some line of junk in her valley girl voice. Too cute for words—gag. I know of no normal parents who´d want to be within miles of this case of arrested development much less claim her as their own. Makes me wonder why Senator McCain doesn´t knock off huddling with the muslim and spend his time dealing with the boil on his neck commonly called his daughter.

If the Republicans facilitate the liberal Democrat designed immigration reform bill that contains the liberal immigrant advocacy groups´ "whole enchilada" amnesty plan and special path to citizenship for almost the entire illegal alien population the Republicans will be committing long-term political suicide.

Historically about 85% of legalized aliens granted US voting rights in the past have become Democrat voters. The current illegal alien population has been seriously low-balled to the American people, and may well actually be about 20 million people. Once legalized they would be able to bring their close foreign relatives here without limitation. All would have complete access to the legal US labor market and be able to compete against American workers for just about every scarce job out there.

In addition it is estimated that the Democrat bill would allow 30 million new foreign workers and their relatives to come here within the next decade. They would also have complete access to the legal US labor market.

Many employers want an "Open borders" bill as the Democrat bill is, for cheap labor purposes. Those employers plan to pay those foreign workers as little as possible, and expect that those foreign workers will be highly subsidized by the public social welfare net and Obama Care. The costs to Americans who actually do pay taxes will be massive to finance those subsidies if the Republicans facilitate the liberal Democrat immigration reform bill into law.

This is the Republican Party today. McCain IS the Republican Party. No one in the leadership of the Republican Party suggests McCain should leave or doesn´t represent the Party´s Views. It is now foolish to believe that McCain and a others are what is wrong with the GOP. They Are NOT. They are the GOP. The GOP does not give two shakes about the future of America or its citizens. They are only interested in getting money from the donors so they can retain their own PERSONAL power. Businesses want amnesty and are willing to pay for it and the GOP (McCain) is happy to broker the deal.

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this

He’s been hammered for going around Congress with executive orders. But he’s within his authority—and he should go further on voting and transparency to make government work better. With Congress paralyzed, President Obama has promised to use his “pen and phone” to overcome the ongoing dysfunction and get some work done. And the White House has already acted several times to help improve America’s economy. But such policies, no matter how valuable, will achieve little if we do not fix our broken democracy. Allow me to suggest some ideas for how the president can do just that. First, some historical context. Presidents

Here is a selection of highlights from Friday’s release of documents from the Clinton presidency. The cache is part of a total of about 33,000 pages of presidential records that had been held back from various public records releases because of legal reasons exempting them from disclosure. A Clinton administration memo (page 674) shows a White House that was acutely aware of the first lady’s image problems as officials contemplated how to soften perceptions of Hillary Clinton and how to “build, energize and expand” her natural base. The latest cache of previously withheld Clinton documents includes an

They say it´s the sincerest form of flattery. We used the same gag in October, though ObamaCare supporters were the butt of our joke. The GOP has been hijacked. That’s right, hijacked. Over the past 100 years, an elite progressive minority has taken the Republican Party far afield from its conservative platform and the interests and values of its grassroots conservative base. I’ll admit that, in the aftermath of the disappointments of the 2012 elections, conservatives like me are angry. We are angry at being blamed for Mitt Romney’s defeat, when we argued from the beginning that he was a Big Government establishment politician and that if he ran a content-free campaign, he would lose. We are angry at the disrespect shown to limited-government constitutional conservatives

They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already

The first step is admitting… It was a simple question to someone accustomed to much tougher ones: What was her proudest achievement as secretary of state? But for a moment, Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing recently before a friendly audience at a women’s forum in Manhattan, seemed flustered.(Snip)So…no definitive successes and some clear-cut failures. And that’s the generous New York Times assessment. The Democrat fantasy story about Mrs. Clinton paints her as strong and accomplished on her own. In reality, this is a woman who is professionally defined almost entirely by two men in her life, both of whom happen to have

Remember when Lois Lerner, in answering a planted question at an American Bar Association conference, admitted the IRS had targeted conservative groups but tried to pass it off as the work of rogue agents — “our line people in Cincinnati”? Today we know there were indeed federal agents involved. But they weren’t rogue, and they weren’t confined to IRS workers in Cincinnati. Thanks to a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch, we now have an e-mail Lerner sent to colleagues noting the Department of Justice was looking into criminal prosecutions of these tax-exempt groups. We know something else, too. These investigations
