A Dishonest Presidency
Washington Post, by Marc A. Thiessen

Original Article

The Wall Street Journal broke the news this weekend that, even as President Obama was telling the American people they could keep their health plans, “some White House policy advisors objected to the breadth of Mr. Obama’s ‘keep your plan’ promise. They were overruled by political aides.” Overruled by political aides? This is simply damning. It’s not easy to get a lie into a presidential speech. Every draft address is circulated to the White House senior staff and key Cabinet officials in something called the “staffing process.” Every line is reviewed by dozens of senior officials, who offer comments and

From the start, this is the BHOnehead who didn´t know the yard at his Chicago house was purchased by Rezko, a felon and campaign contributor

He didn´t know much of Bill Ayers
He may have sat in Wright´s hate filled church for over 10 years but heard nothing

He made up most of the characters in a BIOGRAPHY (composites and caricatures)

His greatest legislative successes were voting "present."

The dirty little secret is, the "grandfather" provision can be changed, if 0bama gives that directive. Problem sol-ved (Inspector Clouseau accent).

However, doing so would turn back the objective: To eliminate the private insurance industry.

And as time goes on the cost of the new policies will escalate through the roof. And people getting health insurance through their jobs will find it to be a taxable benefit. Obamacare is just getting underway...

The word "lie" is used very sparingly, even as a lie unto itself when describing "miss-speak" by politicians. Even politicians on opposite sides of the aisle, in the most heated debates, refuse to use the "L" word. They use, "inaccurate", "an error of speech", "he was mis-informed"- anything to keep from using the big "Lie" word. This even falls into the media- they are very reluctant to call someone an outright Liar! And to see the media using the "L" word so openly in duscussion about the President of the United States- this is a disgrace to our nation! Obama lies all the time. But, this is a big one. And it should be cause to impeach the dirty lying sob!

I believe that after Obama released that completely phony long-form birth certificate and got away with it without so much as an eyebrow raised by the MSM, he felt he was invincible and could lie in huge ways with impunity. That, of course, wasn´t the first huge lie he told, but it was the most audacious since it was so easily verifiable as a fraud.

In addition, I think Obama wanted people to lose their plans even after he said they could keep them because I think, in his twisted sense of reality, he believed he could blame it all on the evil insurance companies (not mois, of course!) and use that as political points to eliminate the insurance companies in favor of single payer.

C´mon folks, name a leftist who doesn´t lie.
The entire left-wing movement is built on a foundation of thinly veiled BS.
This jug eared clod is just so damn self-absorbed, imbued with a false sense of self-esteem and down right narcissism that he thinks he is beyond being questioned.
Remember, he began agitating with unsophisticated urban mopes who swallowed his lies without hesitation and now he is flummoxed that the rest of the population isn´t as dumb as his base.
The former president Clinton and her husband were and are serial liars, they are just a little better at it than King Putt.

In 2014 we can take the Senate and halt further erosion of our freedoms. In 2016, we can elect Ted Cruz. With him as president and a Republican house and senate, we can roll back Obama’s destructive policies. Even more important, we can break the media’s hold on the mind of America.

#11, Obamacare can only be rolled back with O´s support which would come from him only with the threat of his imminent impeachment in the House and conviction in the Senate. We have the votes in the House but they will not impeach unless they know the Senate will convict which is not currently feasible unless enough Dem´s turn based on their own will to survive the next (2014 and 2016) elections. A faction of Dem´s would have to break hard in the Senate for impeachment to occur - it won´t happen unless something contributes, e.g., some unspeakable revelation about Benghazi, in a one-two punch to the regime.

The situation is that bad and it is all about raw power in a race to save the country.

I read a recommendation elsewhere once all the Obama lying became so clear that we should read "The People of the Lie", by Scott Peck, M.D. It was written in 1983, long before Obama was ever heard of outside of his chum gang. It´s telling. The heart of evil is lying and scapegoating.

I recommend it.

Most conservatives understand the corruption of the msm but many don´t understand the massive disadvantage their bias, distortions, non reporting or non investigating bias has on all voters. They can literally manipulate or not cover a story in any way they choose; since they are all in bed with the regime--they all report or ignore, what they are told by the WH. For the conservatives to counter this un-Constitutional biased reporting it would cost the Right billions-- yes billions--that they don´t have nor do they have the communication outlet´s to educate or to reach most voters. Fox News is only one News outlet.

Isn´t is interesting that when a Republican president lies to the American people the democrats threaten impeachment and his own party insists he resign. Therein lies the difference in the two parties. As long as you are pushing the progressive agenda forward the democrats will fully support you. They will always support party ideology over truth.

I don´t think laws written by these jerk weeds ever get reversed. We´ll be stuck with Obamacare and they will nibble around the edges just to keep us happy.
You´ll never see your own doctor, if he hadn´t retired, or have your old premium and coverage because the ACA will have them out of buisness and they won´t come back.

Between this lie and the many others he got away with right before the election, you have to wonder if he was even worried he would be re-elected. If the lies were that obvious, the jump to rigged elections are to far fetched.

"Misspoke" is accidental. If you repeat the same thing time and time again it is not accidental. If you lie to people, intending to harm them and their country, and you are only lying so you can get to the next lie, that is something that can not be tolerated. This is extremely bad. The worst thing a president has done in my lifetime.

What has changed is this president won´t resign and probably feels anger but not disgrace. Afterall, we can´t expect the first black president to resign. His blackness is perfect since so many people are afraid of 6 letters arranged to make the word "racist", a word that has made the transformation of America so much easier for the communists.

#31 - About that election in Virginia today, Glenn Beck said this morning that a member of his staff followed the money donated to Stavis (the so-called Libertarian candidate in the Virginia race), and found that a goodly amount of monies for Mr. Stavis (again, the FAKE Libertarian), came from a Democrat bundler.

Yesterday Glenn played tapes of Stavis spouting ideas that were DEFINITELY not Libertarian, e.g., a mileage tax on your car.

Please Libertarians, don´t vote for the fake Libertarian; vote for Cuccinelli - because his life squares with his word not like Stavis - the fake Libertarian.

The object of inserting Stavis - the fake Libertarian - into the Virginia governor´s race is, of course, to steal votes from Cuccinelli.

There is only an imposter Libertarian in Virginia governor´s race today. Please, Libertarians, don´t be fooled by someone who can be bought!

Devan 95 and M2 say it perfectly !
Lying is lying. All the idiot spokespeople that call it anything else are the protectors of the Liar in Chief.
Propaganda is the corrupt government driven form of lying. The birth certificate lying person in the White House is a propagandist, a self styled liar. All those who openly support him, Congress, academe, the press, the mainstream media and all of Hollywood, are by inference, liars. Above it all, the super serious religious
TV priests, the Sawyers, Pelleys, Williams and Blitzers, let it all slip right by them in their daily, lying sermons.
Forging a birth certificate is a felony. Forget impeachment; simply arrest him.

The libs always look for a way to accept any shortconings of one of their own.

Slick Willie´s lies were just about sex.
PIAPS was only standing by her man.
Pocahontas Warren grew up being told she was an indian princess.
John F´n Kerry at least served in Viet Nam, not the lowly National Guard.
And now Zero´s 16 words were to provide brevity to a complicated subject.

The list goes on with the exception of Weiner. When he got caught he was alone, unlike when a Republican gets caught with a wide toilet stall stance or making some off the wall statement about rape, then the rightwingers are all hypocritical women haters with latent gay tendacies.

The truth is not the left´s goal, winning control is. Any slightly plausable excuse will suffice because their bailout argument is, "Anyway, they´re all the same. Period."

People still do not get who Obama is. They just can´t believe he would lie to their face. He began by telling us he didn´t hear the anti-American rants of Reverend Wright. Wright later told us that Obama lied because he was a politician.

Obama stated publicly in 1995 that he is a Collectivist. That I believe. He also told the Teamsters that he would get to Single Payer within 10 years. That he lies to achieve this goal is understandable once you know the man.

If he can lie so boldly and brazenly about something so obvious, the assumption must be that he lies about everything. Not that we don´t already know that, it is simply the obvious, undeniable, logical deduction that even the Lo-Foz can arrive at. The problem is that while even they know it, they don´t care! The Dumbed-Down Free-Stuff-Grabbing, dope-smoking, self-absorbed, media-influenced, celebrity-obsessed, EBT card wielding, Escalade driving, Kool-Aid drinking, entitlement rich, government-dependent, busted-azz Obamaphone zombies, Leftists and Federal Teat-Sucking Parasites not only know it (and have known it), they welcome it and applaud it! Not only did the President repeat the ´you can keep your plan´ lie, he read it over and over off of a teleprompter. His eyes scanned this lie and his mouth repeated it, unabashedly and continuously.

This lie was conceived, debated, solidified, written, and then finally approved by the President and his handlers and political advisors. It was a lie – everyone connected to this statement knew it was a lie – the President knew that he was repeating a lie – the Democrats made statements supporting this lie – the media protected the President while he promoted this lie.

The most distressing thing about this rolling disaster called Obamacare is that everyone affected by this act and its accompanying series of lies will suffer grievous financial turmoil and medical harm – period.

It was Michael Barone who, early in President Obama’s first term, described the Obama administration as “gangster government.” With Obama now re-elected, his administration’s gangsterism has shifted into high gear. Consider the following news stories from just the last 24 hours: * Dinesh D’Souza, who made a popular documentary film critical of Obama, has been indicted on felony charges by a U.S. Attorney in New York for using straw contributors to donate $20,000 to a friend’s Senate campaign in 2012. On November 7, President Barack Obama made a first tentative stab at an apology for the fact that, despite his often-repeated assurances to the contrary, millions of Americans were losing their health insurance plans as a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, the United States took a number of rapid actions. One was the passage of the Patriot Act, which I regarded as a mistake then, and which doesn´t seem much better now. Another was the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, a bureaucratic monstrosity that doesn´t seem to have done much to keep us actually, you know, safer. In 2008, Intrade missed Barack Obama´s final Electoral College tally by just a single vote. (snip) But just 20 days after Intrade´s electoral triumph, the federal government launched proceedings that would eventually shut the site down. On November 26, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) filed suit in a Washington, D.C., district court against the Ireland-based firm, alleging that Intrade

WASHINGTON - Two minutes after the start of an event he was scheduled to headline, President Barack Obama stepped into his limo for the 13-minute ride to the Four Seasons Hotel here. Inside the five-star hotel, 150 Wall Street CEOs waited. The crowd expected the president to deliver a speech filled with reassurances about the problems associated with ObamaCare. Instead, he offered biting partisan rhetoric that tried to blame Republicans for the failures of his signature health-care bill. In politics there is always an exit door. But policy is a much different room: Exits are hard to find because you

President Obama’s aides went to extraordinary lengths to uncover the identity of a senior official who was using Twitter to make snarky comments about White House staffers. Suspicion gradually centered on Jofi Joseph, the point man on nuclear nonproliferation at the National Security Council. So at a meeting in which everyone was in on the scam an inaccurate but innocuous news tidbit was revealed. When Joseph used his anonymous Twitter handle #natlsecwonk to broadcast the tidbit he was caught and promptly fired. (snip)What apparently intensified the campaign to identify the “snarker” was a comment about Valerie Jarrett, the senior Obama

“A lot of people talk about wanting to change Washington. Well, if we actually change Washington there’s a lot of resistance. This is what it looks like. And we shouldn’t be surprised that when Washington is being forced to change by the American people, is being forced to actually listen to the voters that there’s going to be a lot of resistance because a lot of people are vested to the status quo.” — Senator Ted Cruz on ‘The Mark Levin Show’ Finally. “My staff has always said ‘don’t say this,’ but…” is a frightening disclaimer for the communications staffers of any member of Congress to hear. But it can be especially cringe inducing when the person reciting the line has a terrible habit of not only saying things over the warnings of his staff but also saying things he shouldn’t even have to be told not to say. (snip) One of Washington’s worst-kept secrets is that Reid’s attitude toward most people ranges from miserable on his best days to uncommonly vicious on his worst. On August 18, security officers at London’s Heathrow Airport detained a Brazilian named David Miranda. They did so under the United Kingdom’s Terrorism Act, which allows authorities to hold an individual for up to nine hours if they believe him to be in possession of “information which he knows or believes might be of material assistance” to terrorists. The officers seized Miranda’s cellphone, camera, laptop, encrypted memory sticks, and external hard drive. Miranda is the partner of Guardian journalist Glenn Greenwald, who, since June, has broken a series of stories about programs conducted by the National Security Agency

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, say they won’t vote for any continuing resolution to fund the federal government through the 2014 fiscal year that contains funding for Obamacare. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., says Cruz and Lee are being dishonest because they know President Obama will never sign any measure that defunds his signature domestic policy achievement. After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

GOP presidential hopefuls are largely steering clear of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s fight with the federal government. The showdown, which left armed militia members and feds staring each other down last week, has captivated talk radio and cable news shows, turning Bundy into a conservative cause célèbre. Yet Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Mike Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate, are the only big-name Republicans to have spoken out on the dispute so far. Tea Party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has been silent, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) have also not
