´I´m really good at killing people´: New
book claims President Obama bragged
to aides about using drone strikes

President Barack Obama bragged to his aides that he´s ´really good at killing people,´ according to explosive claims in a new book about the 2012 presidential campaign. The revelation comes at a time when Obama, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, has faced increasing criticism for his use of drones to target insurgents and terrorist suspects, particularly in Pakistan and Yemen. The London-based Bureau of Investigative Journalism estimates that Obama has authorized 326 drone strikes. Since 2004, CIA unmanned aerial vehicles have killed 2,500 to 3,600 people--including up to

well his elimination of Bin Laden gave him such a thrill he just had to try assassinations.
Of course no one told him Americans are not supposed to do that --so he can´t be blamed. Can he?
Since President Kennedy was hit because he flirted with the idea of taking out Castro One could think any honest liberal would have told Obe the truth about the reason assassination is not on the American men. They could have saved him from from all the fear driving his extreme security measures. s/O

Re #2, similar stories but from different reporters and sources.

Ulsterman´s White House Insider reported on Obie´s fascination with using drones - even to having videos sent to him for viewing in the private residence at the WH. According to this report, he was interested in their use for domestic targets. He does not trust the military to carry out his orders, so he could press a button in the WH and voila.

Chilling read:

Let us remember that the terrorists we are after target civilians, and the death toll from their acts of terrorism against Muslims dwarfs any estimate of civilian casualties from drone strikes,´ he said in a speech at the National Defense University in May.

Would Bush have gotten away with that explanation?

Obama reminds me of the kid who tortures small animals and gets off on it. Those kids usually grow up to be serial killers or abusive adults. Or both. Given the new regulations in Obamacare and O´s indiscriminate drone use and bragging about killing people, I´d say he is a person I don´t want to live near; like a sex-offender, only worse.

Obama is a tiny little man who finds pleasure in having the power of life and death in his hands. The creep factor of his asking to view drone strikes is disturbing to say the least. Obama believes he is good at everything but it is extremely troubling to think he actually said this out loud. Wow. That is a huge insight into his heart. Who would make that kind of statement? It is so off kilter. It is such a jarring statement. He is a man capable of eliminating people who he feels are dispensable and that is a dangerous quality in a leader. Thinking like that can lead to genocide or gulags. I don´t for a moment believe he wouldn´t make every opponent disappear to advance his agenda if he thought he could get away with it. Most of his followers would cheer too. The man behind the Resolute desk is a narcissistic sociopath.

Don´t attribute it to race #17. You play into the hands of the libs! It is not Obama´s race that is the source but he was raised a red diaper baby by Frank Marshall Davis. His half brother ( if you accept the story of his origin ) in the hut in Kenya was very sensible in his attitudes about colonialism saying it was a benefit for Africa in the film 2012 by Dinish De Sousa. That probably sounds macho to a fop like Obama, but what real soldiers hate is the word ´incoming´. I´ve talked to a few draft dodgers who justify running off to Canada during the Viet Nam war. They all use the excuse ´I didn´t want to kill or hurt anyone´.

Most Americans would second that, but I believed what they mostly dreaded was anyone shooting at them. The second clue is they bring up the subject themselves out of the blue.

Since our so called Commander in Chief has about 100 Secret Service people guarding and protecting him at any time, I´d say that his statement is empty, cowardly bragging.

Responsible for getting us in to just about every war we´ve been involved in. Like their good buddies who practice radical islam, they take pleasure in slaughtering their enemies, then tell you how peaceful and caring they are.

He´s really good at killing people? Whom is he trying to kid? This is spiritual illness manifesting itself in absurdist rodomontade. In the kind of zero sum society he´s trying impose on America this metrosexual weenie-arm couldn´t last a week on the street without his security detail. Rather than watch the commandos do their deadly work in Abbottabad, Pockey-stahn, Obama wads in another room playing cards with "body man" Reggie Love. If he´d really been a killer at heart, he´d have been in the Situation Room glued to the monitor, munching popcorn.

If any other president had uttered those same words, he´d have been an instant laughing stock. That this president isn´t--at least in the mainstream media--is further evidence of the racially tainted kid gloves treatment by the official press that refuses to hold Obama to the same standards as other presidents because he´s so deficient in manhood. A real man acts while a phony just talks. And talks. And talks.

New York Times - May 29, 2012

Secret ‘Kill List’ Proves a Test of Obama’s Principles and Will

WASHINGTON — This was the enemy, served up in the latest chart from the intelligence agencies: 15 Qaeda suspects in Yemen with Western ties. The mug shots and brief biographies resembled a high school yearbook layout. Several were Americans. Two were teenagers, including a girl who looked even younger than her 17 years. (snip)

Mr. Obama is the liberal law professor who campaigned against the Iraq war and torture, and then insisted on approving every new name on an expanding “kill list,” poring over terrorist suspects’ biographies on what one official calls the macabre “baseball cards” of an unconventional war. When a rare opportunity for a drone strike at a top terrorist arises — but his family is with him — it is the president who has reserved to himself the final moral calculation.

I blogged yesterday about this "segregated" Muslim event organised by the Islamic Society of the University of East London, due to happen tonight at UEL´s main lecture theatre on its Docklands campus. Much to my surprise, UEL immediately banned it from their campus. [Snip] UEL should be congratulated over this. As I pointed out, it has an "equality and diversity" policy. It didn´t know that the dinner organised by the Islamic society--which was to include a speech by the controversial anti-gay preacher Murtaza Khan--was segregated by sex and was providing a platform for an extremist. Tony Blair´s religious charity has links to an Islamic extremist group being investigated by MI5 and MI6, it has been alleged. [Snip] The organisation has been declared a terrorist group in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and could be banned in Britain, despite insisting they do not have links to extremist factions. Deep in the flat and featureless landscape of eastern Ukraine, it is all too possible that the outline of World War III is taking shape. Whipped up by the Kremlin propaganda machine and led by Russian military intelligence, armed men are erecting road blocks, storming police stations and ripping down the country’s flag. After all, argue proponents of such a tax, workers at Silicon Valley firms like Google and Facebook receive free meals from famously fancy in-house eateries every day. Some companies even go a step further by offering freebies like haircuts, car services, and child care. Typical workaday folks can expect to pay for all

Remember Lovebug? This was the computer virus that swept through a young and fresh-faced internet in May 2000. Back then we were told it would do to cyberspace what the Black Death had done to Europe in the 14th century. We all got funny emails with “ILOVEYOU” attachments and when we tried to open them our computers exploded. Or rather they didn’t, though you wouldn’t have known that from the hysteria. Then along came MyDoom, Netsky, Witty and Melissa and, now, the deliciously named Heartbleed bug, which the US security expert Bruce Schneier has described as “catastrophic” and which has

Air pollution in China and other Asian countries is causing storms in North America to become stronger and changing weather patterns across the Northern Hemisphere, a new Nasa study has claimed. [Snip] The effect was most pronounced during the winter, the team said. Lead author Yuan Wang, from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology, said: ´There appears to be little doubt that these particles from Asia affect storms sweeping across the Pacific and subsequently the weather patterns in North America and the rest of the world. ´The effects are quite dramatic.

According to figures compiled by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, Moscow spent 4.1 percent of its GDP on defence in 2013, an increase of 0.6 percent over the past 10 years. By contrast, the United States spent 3.8 percent of GDP on defence and Britain spent just 2.3 percent. The only neighbouring country that spends more is Azerbaijan, with 4.7 percent. Defence spending in Ukraine has also rocketed by 16 percent in the space of a year following the crisis in Crimea and continued tensions with Russia over the eastern provinces of the country. Russia´s military spending relative to GDP is now

Up to 11 people are believed dead after airborne Ukrainian troops seized an airport in the country´s rebellious east today in the first sign that a promised ´anti-terror operation´ had begun against pro-Russian separatists. Heavy gunfire was heard at Kramatorsk airport as Ukraine´s interim president announced that his forces had retaken the site from militants who been seizing control of cities since last week. Local media reported between four to 11 deaths in the attack, but there was no immediate confirmation of any casualties. Russia said it was ´deeply concerned´ over reports of casualties in the region today. It comes

Even by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change´s own lamentable standards, its new report--by Working Group III of the Fifth Assessment Report--makes no sense whatsoever. [Snip] Before the report´s formal release, US officials--who had seen an earlier draft--wrote to the United Nations demanding it be amended. "The discussion of the economic costs of mitigation is too narrow and does not incorporate co-benefits of action." Loosely translated this means: "If we admit how much we´re spending to such little purpose, the taxpaying public is going to kill us." So the report was duly amended to suggest that the benefits of wind turbines, solar panels,

Her dark, macabre tales of Gothic romance and revenge have enthralled millions of readers and remain in print decades after her death. But for Daphne du Maurier, the wealth and worldwide fame she earned from novels such as Rebecca and Jamaica Inn were a poor substitute for the acclaim she craved from literary critics who dismissed her as a second-rank “romantic novelist”. Now her only son, Kits Browning, speaking for the first time ahead of the BBC’s three-part adaptation of Jamaica Inn, has criticised the “Hampstead literati” for overlooking one of the last century’s most original literary talents. A total lunar eclipse will turn the moon a dark blood red tonight. Just after Mars reaches its closest point to earth in six years, a distance of a mere 57.4 million miles, a total lunar eclipse will spectacularly change the colour of the moon. But don´t get too twitchy with the curtains in the early hours--only people in north and south America will be able to see it with the naked eye. If you live in the UK, mainland Europe or most of the rest of the world by far your best chance of seeing the eclipse is right

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. Whatever the burning political question of the day, millions of Americans have relished the opportunity to tune into Rush’s program, knowing that he would quickly take that hot potato, throw a few gallons of verbal kerosene into the mix and elevate the matter into a five alarm fire with a just a few well-chosen words spoken in the style only Rush Limbaugh could

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,

The cash infusion by the federal government is actually going to help the city pay pensions, even though they´re playing a kind of shell game with the money. As for "blight removal," perhaps they could start with city hall. Citing two people familiar with the talks, the newspaper said the talks were centered around federal money flowing to Michigan for blight removal. Under the plan, $100 million

Climate change’s latest casualty appears to be fish — or more specifically, fish brains — as researchers say the carbon dioxide that’s being absorbed into the ocean is causing the scaly creatures to lose their survival instincts. In other words, the fish are losing their minds, The Daily Mail reported. The acid from atmospheric carbon dioxide seeps into sea waters, dissolves and ultimately lowers the pH balance, researchers said. The acidic waters then hamper the fishes’ sensory systems, so they’re not able to distinguish between smells any longer, the scientists went on. When the acid levels get really high, the fish lose their
