A Phalanx of Lies
National Review Online, by Mark Steyn

CNN has been pondering what they call “a particularly tough few days at the White House.” “Four out of five Americans have little or no trust in their government to do anything right,” says chief political analyst Gloria Borger. “And now Obama probably feels the same way.” Our hearts go out to him, poor wee disillusioned thing. We are assured by the headline writers that the president was “unaware” of Obamacare´s website defects, and the National Security Agency spying, and the IRS targeting of his political enemies, and the Justice Department bugging the Associated Press, and pretty

As the worm turns.

In the meantime, Americans are losing income, losing insurance, and some dying while he muses about who to blame.

Last sentence says it all: Obamacare is not a left–right issue; it’s a fraud issue.

And that chimp in the Spite House should be in jail, and not just for MengeleCare.

Is lying Obama´s "native" language?

"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

At all levels of the administration there is a plethora of Pathological Liars.

One person lies and those around them along with the MSM swear to their veracity or give credibility to the lies by their resounding silence.

They enlarge the proverbial "terrible" web by telling more falsehoods to support the initial lies.

One truth revealed will cut
an "anchor strand" and will weaken more will fail and a chain reaction will cause more failures because the remaining anchors can no longer support the weight of the web of lies.

FTA: "The Canadian and British health systems get by on the principle that, as bad as they are, for enough people they’re good enough, and you don’t have to think about it."

Indeed. We may have beeched about it, but, all things considered, we had, yes "had," the best healthcare in the world. People have for decades flocked to our system, warts and all, from all over the world.

Obamacare, unlike the British and Canadian systems, for 90% of Americans will never, ever, be good enough.

For them, all Obamacare has to do is work. That is why the last month has been so damaging to Big Government’s brand: ...Obamacare is a bust.

You underestimate the stupidity of most Americans nowadays Mark. Education, entertainment, news media, and of course the government will blame it all on sequestors, comets, wild fires, the Tea Party, the shutdown, Ted Cruz, et al and most voters will believe it. So the afterburning to the Jarret-Alinsky Xanadu (fueled by those courageous Depends wearing Republicans) will continue unabated.

Obamacare is not a left–right issue; it’s a fraud issue.

Let me remind you Mark that hate filled, racist, Tea Party, right wing Christian extremist terrorist comments like that are actually illegal under Obamacare.

Great article,as usual. Mr. Steyn never disappoints. How anyone, CNN leading the charge, can have empathy for the Liar in Chief is beyond me. He constructed this whole mess. He willfully lied to the American people and has done so on occasions other than Obamacare. The man is a liar. A cold hearted liar who believes he has an obligation to lie if need be to push forward or protect his agenda. He has no regrets and will do it again and again. He is laser focused on the end and will use any means possible so lying does not phase him. It is the most frequently used tool in his communist toolbox.

Anyone - but especially the supremes who voted for upholding Obamacare - have been conned by a liar who has perpetrated fraud in the extreme upon every citizen in America.

He overstayed his welcome nearly five whole years ago.

Having been treated like a coddled, precious, delicate hothouse flower all his life, always getting his way is the only thing he’s become accustomed to. Want this? Get this! Want that? Get that! Barry, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” is more than just a song title. It’s a truism. Get it? It’s the way it is.

I’m absolutely positive that many of my fellow American citizens, whom you obviously like to think of as your subjects, have just one more thing they would dearly love for you to get.

Huge error, overlooking two of America´s most free world challenging tellers of truth: Robert Spencer, renowned author and publisher of the heroic daily JIHAD WATCH, and in New York, freedom fighter, Pamela Geller, and her daily, ATLAS SHRUGS. Both of these wonderful genius level internet and widely published heroes are observers of worldwide Islamic supremacism. The immediate cancer of this worldwide ideology/religion of growing violence is actively being overlooked by nearly every single soul in the commie driven mainstream media, as well as our contrarian Fox News and many of the good guys. Outspoken Michelle Bachmann, one person questioning the dangers of Islamists in our own government high places, is being excoriated and ostracized by her own people. Get in the habit of reading JIHAD WATCH and ATLAS SHRUGGED.
You´ll be amazed at what´s actually going on, and the great work they are initiating to protect our freedom.f

Wonderful article by Mr. Steyn - every word in every sentence is pin-point perfect, as usual.

Out of so much both serious and chuckle-inducing perfection, this one little group of sentences spoke stunningly of the President’s hazy perception of his position:

"But, as he put it, ‘nobody’s madder than me’ at this shadowy rogue entity called the ‘Government of the United States’ that’s running around pulling all this stuff. And, once he finds out who’s running this Government of the United States rogue entity, he’s gonna come down as hard on him as he did on that videomaker in California; he’s gonna send round the National Park Service SWAT team to teach that punk a lesson he won’t forget.

"Gloria Borger and CNN seem inclined to swallow the line that the president of the United States is not aware that he is president of the United States."

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. “On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
