A Kentucky medical center has ordered all of its employees to undergo diversity training after a worker wore a costume of President Obama to the hospital’s annual Halloween party last Friday. As WZZTV reports, an employee at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky., wore an Obama mask and straitjacket to the party, escorted by fellow workers dressed in police gear, and performed a skit entitled “VIP Special Delivery.” The outfits and skit won third place in a group costume contest. The costumes spawned enough complaints that the hospital is now requiring all 750 employees to attend diversity training. Because of

diversity training is nothing more than racial discrimination against white people. It does nothing more than teach them to shut up and allow the other side to abuse them, no matter what the issue.

Two classes of second graders recently had a field trip to the Colorado state history museum. At the end of the tour the kids had to listen to a black woman go on about the horrific discrimination against blacks in Colorado, sing songs, and sob. I don´t know if she sheds tears for each one like she did for that one. It was confusing to the children and they found it weird.
I have a feeling the hospital complainers have the same sensitivity.

I´ve seen this kind of thing in companies before. They are terrified of the complainers and of EEO lawsuits, so they require employees to attend these dopey seminars or watch a powerpoint slide.
Management probably thinks its as stupid as everyone else does, they are just covering their wallets.
Meanwhile, the complainers who see racism behind every watermelon can get away with gross ineptitude because the only thing they are really good at is finding lawyers.

It strikes me as ironic that the costume wearers exhibited the diverse behavior (by definition), yet they were forced to have their behavior conform to a universal norm demanded by some grievance group. That it´s called, "diversity training" is almost as upside down as the Affordable Care Act name.
