Meghan McCain: Some say ‘I’m the

Meghan McCain said she’s already defied the odds by not disappearing from the public stage after her father’s failed 2008 presidential campaign, and that part of the reason is some regard her as the new face of the Republican Party. “People project onto me what they want me to be,” said Ms. McCain, the daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain, in Politico. “If they want me to be this spoiled, crass senator’s daughter, then they will create that and say that to be on Twitter and write articles on me.” Others, meanwhile, “think I’m the second coming of the new

I want the McCains to go away en masse, almost as bad as the Clintons.

The R she claims is for the sole purpose of getting attention from the MSM due to their desire to search out anyone claiming to be a Republican who will criticize the party. Switching parties would result in her dissappearance from the scene and she doesn´t want that as she would simply become another screaming liberal.

Does anybody even bother to read the articles anymore ?
It´s zero to 60 in rage all the time now, without context.
McCain is quoted as saying some call her x,y and z and others call her a, b and c , but, she´s neither.
“People project onto me what they want me to be,” said Ms. McCain, the daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain, in Politico.
“If they want me to be this spoiled, crass senator’s daughter,
then they will create that and say that to be on Twitter and write articles on me.”
Others, meanwhile, “think I’m the second coming of the new wave of Republicanism,” she said, adding in Politico
that either way, that’s incorrect.
“I don’t think it’s fair to either demagogue me or put myself up on a pedestal.”
Meghan is having a good time, she´s enjoying life , she´s not hurting anyone and she has a job.
It used to be that her entrepreneurship and sunny outlook would be cheered by the right , instead they now
order her to shut up and go away .

We did read what she said and that is why we´re commenting. The arrogance of someone like her saying that "some" call her the second coming of republicanism in itself smacks of a colossal lack of self-awareness.

By the way, who calls her the second coming of republicanism?
Liberals? Rinos? Certainly not conservatives.

Also, she came out with a book that centered on herself as a sexual object. She has nothing else to offer! Worse, she is the poster child of obtuseness and unthinking parrot responses when it comes to the important issues of policy and ethics. One can tell that she is shallow in her thinking processes. She is devoid of class.

And, she *is* hurting people, she has slandered decent hard-working conservatives of integrity, that is her calling card, and she seemingly has done so out of lazy ignorance, jealousy, and malice. She started this ugly game and we are calling her on it.

NEW YORK— Video phone calls? Yeah, we do that. Asking computers for information? Sure, several times a day. Colonies on the moon and jet packs as a mode of everyday transportation. OK, maybe not. The New York World´s Fair of 1964 introduced 51 million visitors to a range of technological innovations and predictions, some that turned out to be right on the money and others that, perhaps thankfully, were way off the mark. At the Bell System pavilion, engineers touted a "picturephone" that allowed callers to see who they were talking to, a concept that lives on in modern-day apps

Coldwater Creek said it has 365 stores and employs about 6,000 people.

In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Nearly a year into the IRS scandal, we still don´t know exactly what happened—though we are finally getting an inkling. That´s thanks to the letter House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp sent this week to the Justice Department recommending a criminal probe of Lois Lerner. The average citizen might be dizzied by the torrent of confusing terms—BOLO lists, Tigta, 501(c)(4)—and the array of accusations that have made up this IRS investigation. Mr. Camp´s letter takes a step back to remind us why this matters, even as it provides compelling new information that goes to motive and method—and clarifies some of

Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle. Michael Parker and Flora Chang, at Sanford Bernstein, say we entering a new order of "global energy deflation" that must ineluctably erode the viability of oil, gas and the fossil fuel nexus over time.

STAMFORD, Conn. — Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.” This time the potential 2016 candidate put it differently. “To be young and

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

Under the administration of President Obama, as never before in my lifetime, there is reason to be a bit afraid of the federal government. I have written two books documenting Obama´s abuses of power, his assaults on the Constitution, his wars against business and energy, his abominably reckless spending, his divisiveness, his renegade Justice Department, his regulatory expansion, his executive orders, his overall lawlessness, and more. Obama´s conduct concerning Obamacare alone would be enough to get the impeachment wheels rolling for any other president. His flagrant, deliberate lies regarding almost every aspect of that

The deportation of foreigners living illegally in the United States is similar to the forced internment of ethnic-Japanese Americans in World War II, according to Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. “I’ll be very honest with you: Looking at the numbers at some point, in terms of how people are treated and deported and families separated and the rest, this has a scent of Japanese internment,” Pelosi told a Politico reporter. “It’s really a black mark,” said Pelosi. Roughly 110,000 ethnic-Japanese immigrants and their American children were detained during World War II after Japan’s sneak attack on Americans in Pearl Harbor. Pelosi also urged Obama
