Obama administration knew millions
could not keep their health insurance

NBC News, by Lisa Myers & Hannah Rappleye

Original Article

President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years. Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next

It stands to reason that if 0bama didn´t know about the spying, or daily briefing stuff that goes on in the White House, he certainly didn´t know about this "problem" with his signature legislation. /SARCASM.

Satan deceives every chance he gets. Hell will be to good of a place when he gets there. Just lie. He does. Suckers believe him. He got elected twice by lying through his tobacco stained teeth with a big smile on his face. He is the living essence of evil in this world and he is fundamentally transforming the country and government into an unstable force of evil. He is the enemy within.

Losing health insurance is only part of what is planned for Americans on their way to "Forward!"...

Hihg minded, institutional liberals look down on the grunts that actualy make the country work. There´s no way these dolts can out smart the brainiacs in the government. What Obamacare is,is a clash between idealism and reality.

The left always has and always will believe business owners have all kinds of excess money hidden away and it´s their job to pry that money loose.

Obama ran on wealth redistribution but idiotic believers thought it would be simple cash transfers..IOW tax some rich AH and cut a poor person the check. It doesnt work like that, liberals take the money and "invest" it bigger government because power is more imporant than actually helping people. They´ve helped millions of black people get into poverty which should be considered a failure but it´s smoothed over with some government crumbs thrown their way.

The left´s biggest support group, younger people are getting stung like hell because they´re wide eyed fools believing Obama´s BS.Now the left wants another stimulus heroin fix for walking around money for next years election. If you donate to regular republicans,it´s the same as donating to Obama.

The article conveniently fails to mention that many employer sponsored plans are being discontinued or changed as well. And is the 14 million actual people or policies? If it is just policies then that could translate into 3 or 4 times that number of actual citizens if you consider that spouses and children are covered on those "individual" policies as well.

When Zippy told this huge lie, do you for an instant think he did not believe it would be exposed? Of course he knew. His purpose was to postpone it until AFTER the election - to save face for his supporters. This man has not fooled a single person in his life - including his grandmother, that did not want to believe him in the first place. Thats why no one can lay a glove on him.

Part of what we call common sense is the routine application of cause and effect to unavoidable oppressive actions. If you took the time to consider the consequences to the health industry when this crap was proposed, then you should have at least speculated that the status quo would not remain if it went into statute.

So NBC is shocked, shocked that Obama lied in order to inflict socialized medicine, the precursor to outright socialism, on the American people. That doesn´t say much for the media´s powers of observation; Obama promised "single-payer, eventually". They didn´t think he meant it?

Obama promised to "fundamentally remake America". What did everyone on the Left think that meant? Utopia? Instead, it´s dystopia at a level unknown in American history.

In my State of FL alone, more than a third of a million people have been kicked off their health insurance plans because of Obamacare. Now the rest of the good old USA is seeing that Obama (shocked, shocked) lied.

Now what? Wait until the corpses of the untreated sick and dying line the avenues of power in Washington before something gets done to undo this horrific bill?

What is laughable and ridiculous is the aspect of preexisting conditions. Preexisting conditions are probably not an issue to those who already have health insurance, yet Dr Obama ejects those off of current plans, justifying it with the yadda yadda "it´s not up to new standards bc of not covering preexisting conditions". ha ha. Right!
False implication existing policies had deductibles that were too high is a mute point considering the outrageous deductibles coming out of Obamacare. ACA is false promises, false premises, false justifications. Typical Obama.
In the meantime the cabal talking points in defense of ACA are starting this spin that policies are not being cancelled, just replaced. Sure.

If you question the media´s willingness to look at these negative issues of Obama´s, it is pretty obvious if you think about it. They portrayed Obama as the Savior. They will say he tried and did some good but we need Savior 2.0 to complete the journey to progressive utopia, and who is that? Why none other than Hillary Rodham Clinton. She will get the job done! Never believe this minor epiphany by the media is a renunciation. It is far from it. They just see it going forward with another leader and are happy to be moving it forward. Another first will be another winner. They will switch out the race card for the gender card. Easy peasy.

From the beginning Obama planned to put the insurance companies out of business. Therefore, he not only knew it, he intended it.

Anyone with half a brain understood that at the time. At least, I would have thought so.
I was puzzled at the lack of push back from doctors, insurance companies and the public at large. I guess even those who saw the danger were too busy worrying about a Mormon president to unite against the real danger. Am I bitter? You bet.

With all of the talk going around about sky high deductibles and outrageous premium costs, I just wonder where is the money going? We´ve all been told how Medicare payouts will decrease, less money for Medicaid, less money paid to doctors and hospitals, so where is the money going? My only guess is to the insurance companies (to buy their campaign donations) and to the government. There doesn´t seem to be any other answer. Another case of "follow the money". With dims, it always is.

I suspect that once all these brown-nosers in the media and more and more citizens experience the realities of this monstrosity, we will see more articles and hear more outrage.

If, and this is a big IF, Republicans can get their rears in gear and get a clear, coherent message out about BO´s Deplorable Care Act, with their own solutions enunciated AGAIN...

hold the presses:
HA HA HA. Just heard Carol Shea-Porter (NH-D) re-elected in my district after having lost in 2010, a snarling lefty who helped cram this and every BO lefty legislation through --my calls were certainly never heeded by her-- is now calling for a delay in sign-up because of "deplorable" glitches blah blah blah.

#2, the new W-2 form showing a dollar value for employer-issued health insurance was issued last year for some folks.

It´s only a matter of time before we pay income tax on it.

Not to mention, if the Obamacare website says you´re eligible for the subsidy, the IRS has ruled that subsidy is income you must pay tax on, according to Judge Napolitano.

Obama’s Right-Hand Valerie Jarrett Tied To Firm Hired To Build Failed ObamaCare Website?

For the record: Valerie’ Jarrett’s daughter Laura’s father-in-law Canadian Liberal politician Bas Balkissoon is not Canada’s Prime Minister. Nor, as some news outlets are indicating, is he a MP. (Member of Parliament). Balkissoon—one of many Canadian Liberals with deep ties to the Obama administration—is a minor player MPP ament ) at Ontario’s Queen’s Park,

CGI, the Canadian company that launched healthcare.gov, is peopled with friends of the Obamas, including Michelle Obama’s Princeton school chum, Toni Townes-Whitley. CGI is not just the company behind the healthcare.gov epic fail. CGI is also the company behind the $2.7-billion failed, Liberal-launched Canadian Gun Registry that was so plagued with corruption and mismanagement it brought on an investigation by Canadian Auditor General Sheila Fraser.

2. Mark Steyn, in a very funny article:

The witness who coughed up the intriguing tidbit about Obamacare’s exemption from privacy protections was one Cheryl Campbell of something called CGI. This rang a vague bell with me. CGI is not a creative free spirit from Jersey City with an impressive mastery of Twitter, but a Canadian corporate behemoth. Indeed, CGI is so Canadian, their name is French: Conseillers en Gestion et Informatique. Their most famous government project was for the Canadian Firearms Registry. The registry was estimated to cost in total $119 million, which would be offset by $117 million in fees. That’s a net cost of $2 million. Instead, by 2004 the CBC (Canada’s PBS) was reporting costs of some $2 billion – or a thousand times more expensive.

But in this case the database had to register some 7 million long guns belonging to some 2.5 million to 3 million Canadians. That works out to almost $300 per gun – or somewhat higher than the original estimate for processing a firearm registration of $4.60. Of those $300 gun registrations, Canada’s Auditor-General reported to Parliament that much of the information was either duplicated or wrong in respect to basic information such as names and addresses.

Sound familiar?

Also, there was a 1-800 number, but it wasn’t any use.

Sound familiar?

So it was decided that the sclerotic database needed to be improved.

Sound familiar?

But it proved impossible to “improve” CFIS (the Canadian Firearms Information System). So CGI was hired to create an entirely new CFIS II, which would operate alongside CFIS I until the old system could be scrapped. CFIS II was supposed to go operational on Jan. 9, 2003, but the January date got postponed to June, and 2003 to 2004, and $81 million was thrown at it before a new Conservative government scrapped the fiasco in 2007. Last year, the Government of Ontario canceled another CGI registry that never saw the light of day – just for one disease, diabetes, and costing a mere $46 million.

Was the Government of the United States aware that CGI had been fired by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario (and the Government of New Brunswick)?

Decreasing viewers (who drank Obie´s cool aid the first two times) and decreasing ratings, and decreasing profits. I hate to say it, but the corporations who place their ads in the msm pay attention to what sells... or doesn´t sell. Vatican City - Pope Francis, marking Palm Sunday in a packed St. Peter´s Square, ignored his prepared homily and spoke entirely off-the-cuff in a remarkable departure from practice. Later, he continued to stray from the script by hopping off his popemobile to pose for "selfies" with young people and also sipping tea passed to him from the crowd. In his homily, Francis called on people, himself included, to look into their own hearts to see how they are living their lives. "Has my life fallen asleep?" Francis asked after listening to a Gospel account of how Jesus´ disciples fell asleep shortly before he was betrayed by Judas before his crucifixion.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who led the rocky rollout of Obamacare and surprised D.C. observers by stepping down this week, said that if President Obama wanted to talk her out of leaving, he didn’t even get the chance. “I made it pretty clear that that really wasn’t an option, to stay on,” Mrs. Sebelius told NBC’s Andrea Mitchell in an interview aired Sunday. “I mean, I thought it was fair to either commit till January of 2017 or leave with enough time that he would get a strong, competent leader.” Mr. Obama tapped his budget chief, Sylvia Mathews Burwell, to replace Mrs. Sebelius. Sen. Rand Paul said Sunday he will not decide whether to run for president until after the mid-term elections, noting he still has to poll his family before he builds on straw poll victories and launches an earnest bid. In a wide-ranging interview with ABC’s Jonathan Karl, the Kentucky Republican said the GOP needs to “evolve, change and grow” if it wants to win again, and that he wants to be a part of that. He also deflected his positive polling with modesty. “I guess it’s better than not being noticed,” Mr. Paul said. On immigration, he said former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who some GOP moderates want to recruit for a presidential bid,

An automated pot-selling machine was unveiled at an event held at an Avon, Colo., restaurant Saturday, promising a potential new era of selling marijuana and pot-infused snacks from vending machines directly to customers. Its creators say the machine, called the ZaZZZ, uses biometrics to verify a customer´s age. The machine is climate-controlled to keep its product fresh. You may be picturing a vending machine on a sidewalk, ready to dispense pot brownies to anyone with correct change. That´s not quite what backers of the machine have in mind. For now, at least, the ZaZZZ is aimed for use only by medical marijuana patients.

Slaviansk, Ukraine - Ukrainian security forces launched an operation on Sunday to clear pro-Russian separatists from state buildings in the eastern city of Slaviansk, with dead reported on both sides as Kiev combated what it calls an act of aggression by Moscow. With East-West relations in crisis, NATO described the appearance in eastern Ukraine of men with specialized Russian weapons and identical uniforms without insignia - as previously worn by Moscow´s troops when they seized Crimea - as a "grave development". Ukraine faces a rash of rebellions in the east that it says are inspired and directed by the Kremlin.

Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. The official said the incident appeared to be “premeditated.”

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. Cliven Bundy and his

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

Let me obliterate a bit of confusion here: the Obama administration attempted to go to war with a rancher in Nevada. Let me amplify a little bit of truth: They tucked tail and have returned home. And let me add a bit of clarity: they had no choice! As the nation began to become familiar with the plight of the family of Cliven Bundy, many of us harkened back to another standoff in which the Federal government attempted to bully it´s outcome: Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidian massacre. It is telling that in the Nevada case the feds pulled out so

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
