Obama: ´Stop rooting´ for
Affordable Care Act to fail

United Press International, by Staff

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Barack Obama said Saturday HealthCare.gov will be running smoothly soon and questioned the sincerity of Republicans´ "concern" over its failure. In his weekly radio and Internet address, the president reminded listeners the deadline for mandatory healthcare coverage is months away and said early heavy traffic on the new website indicates how much demand there is for "quality, affordable healthcare choices." He said consumers can also apply by telephone for coverage through the newly established insurance exchange -- called the Marketplace -- and assured people who are not yet covered that "these plans will not sell out." Our President doesn´t realize that it doesn´t matter what we as individuals think about the ACA....it´s destined to fail, just like all the other big programs our federal government touches. The AMA could mean that the Democrat Party will not be in the majority for the next hundred years.

What a freaking LIAR!

FTA:As I´ve said many times before, I´m willing to work with anyone, on any idea, who´s actually willing to make this law perform better," Obama said.

Then explain why Republicans were not even invited to a briefing?

I heard a new shocker about Abominablecare yesterday. I just watched a TV spot with Sec. Sebelius bragging that Obamacare is successful because 25% of the companies in the exchanges "were brand new companies."

Who would knowingly sign up for insurance with a brand new company? Are the exchanges telling their enrollees which ones have no history of ever paying a claim?

And the nitwit in charge actually thinks this is a mark of distinction! Astounding. Ask about history as you are forced to sign up, folks. There are few things worse than having a valid claim and an insurance company in bankruptcy. I have seen it many times in my career. The wailing and knashing of teeth is brutal.

While even old line companies will have a hard time in this fiasco, the new ones will be the first weeded out.

Of course Obama wants it to fail so that he can blame its failure on Republicans and use it as an excuse to impose single payer (read nationalize) health care. So the headline is right but the emphasis is wrong. It should be a command not a quote.
