Sacking Sebelius?
How she became the media’s pinata

Fox News, by Howard Kurtz

Kathleen Sebelius is getting pummeled by the media for the disastrous ObamaCare rollout, and now she’s mounting a new defense. Not directly, of course. The secretary is sticking to her bland talking points in the rare interviews she grants. But people sympathetic to her are making the case behind the scenes that she’s not to blame, as we see in this New York Times story: “Although Ms. Sebelius runs the Department of Health and Human Services, the agency directly responsible for the health care law, there are questions about how deeply she was involved in the development of the troubled Web

Claiming a scalp is tempting, even satisfying but Obama is and should remain the objective.

Sebelius never was in the Inner Circle and both sides would privately admit she´s expendable.

Her punishment will be zero reward for showing loyalty to someone who is completely unfamiliar with the concept due to his upbringing.

If she isn´t in charge, why are we paying her? It must be nice to have a big paying job in the Cabinet and not have to do anything. Who is in charge? Valerie must be a wonder woman if she is controlling everything which I think she is. I am ready to throw all the bums out and start all over. It couldn´t be any worse than it is now.

Because she is the designated scapegoat for this fiasco. The press will NEVER allow any blame to be laid at the hallowed feet of Obama, who wanted this monstrosity, nor the Amazing People Loving Democrats who crafted this POS "for the children". The Republicans are on record as not voting for this program at all. Can´t blame Bush, or Reagan, won´t blame Obama or the Dems. Voila, Sebelius, scapegoat extroidinaire.

Like the rest of the legislation and directives emanating from Ø´s realm, an idea was hatched by the occupants of the ivory tower and the "details" were left for the peons to sort out.

Unfortunately, no one (neither Sebelius nor Bammy) was interested enough in the end product to monitor the progress, or lack thereof, over the past three years and so the website, HealthCare.fail, was launched with a resounding thud.

The law, which is also full of things that won´t work, is no better than the Internet portal to access it — as we will be learning in the coming months.
