College Grad Says Obamacare
‘Has Raped My Future’ In Viral Letter

CBS News, by Benjamin Fearnow

Original Article

A University of Michigan graduate penned an open letter that went viral online as she described how President Barack Obama’s signature health care law hurts the working poor, and has “raped” her future. Ashley Dionne, 26, posted the now-viral letter to conservative radio host Dennis Prager’s Facebook page earlier this week. She explains how she graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009, at which point she was told she was “too educated and wouldn’t stay” at low-paying jobs. Dionne writes that she has a series of medical conditions, and the Obamacare system pushes her out of a system that favors the non-working

As Madame Sebelius has informed us, you can just pay the fine of $95. Of course the fine will eventually escalate to $695 or 2-1/2% of your income, and you still won´t have health insurance. How long before the rest of the college crowd realizes what ´leveling the playing field´ really means?

“This law has raped my future,” she writes. “It will keep me and kids my age from having a future at all. This is the real face of Obamacare and it isn’t pretty.”

A bit slow on the draw, but college kids are finally getting it!

In the last couple of days, and for the first time since 0b@$tard´s Socialist house of cards was sanctioned by the SCOTUS, I am hopeful that it really is going to fall under its own weight.

I do highly resent this in the young lady´s letter: " . . . I can’t afford to support myself, let alone older generations and people not willing to work at all.”

What does she mean, "not willing to work"?

Did it occur to her that we of the older generations have worked most all of our lives? We worked in a time when success was possible and we could support ourselves; in a time when freedom meant freedom; when we didn´t have a tyrannical government taking more and more of our pay and snooping into every aspect of our lives, including what is said between us and our doctor.

This young lady is 26 years old and a university graduate --and we know what that is likely to mean: she´s been a flaming Leftist all of her life. I would like to know her voting record --or if she bothers to vote at all; I would like to know if she voted for the Mulatto Marxist either time.

In her short 26 years has she payed attention at all to what´s happening in her own country, or is she an American Idol couch potato like so many of her generation?

Welcome to the real world, young lady. Life under a Mulatto Marxist has just hit you squarely between the eyes.

I think the critical word is "and". As another older person I took it that she was complaining about caring for old people AS WELL AS welfare types--not necessarily taking a shot at oldsters as being "unwilling to work"

Regulation: The Supreme Court long ago declared that "the power to tax is the power to destroy." The same and more could be said about Uncle Sam´s power to regulate. The power to promulgate rules, edicts and commandments applied to consumers, banks, local and state governments, schools, churches and businesses is, alas, almost limitless. Mr. Rouhani is the Iranian president the West keeps insisting is a "moderate," mounting evidence to the contrary notwithstanding. Lawlessness: The federal government let nearly 68,000 illegal aliens with criminal records go free in 2013. When it´s law and order vs. future votes for Democrats, we all know which wins under this administration. A new study from Washington´s Center For Immigration Studies (CIS) found that the Obama administration in 2013 released 67,879 illegal aliens who had been convicted of a criminal offense — 35% of the total number of the aliens with criminal convictions encountered by law enforcement. The vast majority, the CIS report said, were due to "the Obama administration´s prosecutorial discretion policies, not because the aliens were not deportable." So

Well, this is it. Today is your last chance to enroll in a medical insurance plan under ObamaCare. There will be no exceptions, other than people who haven´t yet enrolled. YOKOHAMA, Japan — Climate change is already having sweeping effects on every continent and throughout the world’s oceans, scientists reported Monday, and they warned that the problem is likely to grow substantially worse unless greenhouse emissions are brought under control. The report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations group that periodically summarizes climate science, concluded that ice caps are melting, sea ice in the Arctic is collapsing, water supplies are coming under stress, heat waves and heavy rains are intensifying, coral reefs are dying, and fish and many other creatures are migrating toward the poles or

Early national polling is supporting the prevailing view in Washington that Democrats are in trouble in the 2014 midterm elections. While Democrats are more popular than the GOP among the general public, the party faces a number of challenges in November. First, there´s an enthusiasm gap. Typically, but not always, Republicans vote at higher rates than Democrats in congressional elections. And at this early stage, that seems likely to happen again, perhaps at an even greater rate than usual. One telling indicator came in December, when the Pew Research Center found that Republicans are much more optimistic about their party´s electoral

They say it contains enzymes known as HMGF (hydroxy methyl glutaryl flavonones) which can attack proteins in the body known to cause heart disease. The study found bergamot could even be as effective as statins, used to control cholesterol but which can have side effects in
