Rep: Duffy to Andrea Mitchell:
Why Wasn´t Michelle Obama Signing
up for Obama Care on Oct. 1?

Breitbart the Conversation, by Elizabeth Sheld

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 10/9/2013 1:59:28 PM

Yesterday, whatever show Andrew Mitchell hosts on MSNBC had Congressman Sean Duffy as a guest to talk about the government shutdown and Obama care. Duffy smacked down Mitchell, repeatedly refusing her spin (this woman MUST be on the Obama payroll) and setting her straight. Mitchell wasn´t having any of it, but it is a masterful exchange to behold. Below is the transcript and you can watch the whole video here. TRANSCRIPT: REP. DUFFY: Andrea, that´s ridiculous. I think he said you´ve been through 18 shutdowns. I don´t know if you´ve seen a President that has come and said I´m not going

This is a good conversation. I recommend that you read the entire transcript. Duffy is just great here!

Duffy has also give instruction to have his pay withheld so log as the shutdown continues.

I look forward to seeing the video.

Come again Andrea!! People have voted? Voting for this empty suit has nothing to do with people´s opinion on Obamacare.

Duffy was masterful in handling this woman AND he got in all the most effective talking points. I have said for years that Republicans have trained the media to treat them as they do. When you act like Charlie milquetoast, stupidly smile as you (or the Republican Prez) is being insulted, and are constantly answering questions defensively, then of course the journalists treat you with little respect. I am not saying media is right, no way, just saying that Duffy and Cruz are treated with more respect because they demand it.

There is a pastime among liberal pundits — the latest is Nicholas Kristof — to quote a new center left global ranking (with unbiased titles such as “The Social Progress Imperative”) and then to decry that the United States is behind its major industrial competitors in things like “Internet Access” and “Ecosystem sustainability.” The subtext of these rants is that an illiberal, reactionary U.S. does not spend enough on government entitlements to promote parity, equality and social justice among its citizenry. These pessimistic rankings increase the angst about the American condition when viewed from scowling perches in Washington or New

President Obama is imposing his policies directly on federal contractors. This week, he will sign an executive order that would prohibit federal contractors from retaliating against employees who discuss their pay with each other. The prohibition on the wage "gag rules" is similar to language in a Senate bill aimed at closing a pay gap between men and women. That legislation is scheduled for a vote this week, though it is not likely to pass. In addition, Obama on Tuesday will direct the Labor Department to adopt regulations requiring federal contractors to provide compensation data based on sex and race.

WASHINGTON - At the prodding of business organizations, House Republicans quietly secured a recent change in President Barack Obama´s health law to expand coverage choices, a striking, one-of-a-kind departure from dozens of high-decibel attempts to repeal or dismember it. Democrats describe the change involving small-business coverage options as a straightforward improvement of the type they are eager to make, and Obama signed it into law. Republicans are loath to agree, given the strong sentiment among the rank and file that the only fix the law deserves is a burial. "Maybe you say it helps (Obamacare), but it really helps
