Obama as Chaos
PJ Media, by Victor Davis Hanson

Original Article

Posted By:Hobbiest, 10/7/2013 2:52:02 AM

Amid all the charges and countercharges in Washington over the government shutdown, there is at least one common theme: Barack Obama’s various charges always lead to a dead end. They are chaos, and chaos is hard to understand, much less refute. By that I mean when the president takes up a line of argument against his opponents, it cannot really be taken seriously — not just because it is usually not factual, but also because it always contradicts positions that Obama himself has taken earlier or things he has previously asserted. Whom to believe — Obama 1.0, Obama 2.0, or

Obama knows the MSM isn´t going to fact check his ridiculous assertions and not enough people see the red media´s rebuttals to his claims. The MSM is perfectly happy ignoring Obama being a serial liar and misleader.
It´s just like this latest lie making he rounds that Obamacare glitchs are caused by overload,no matter what time of day or night people try to apply. And how can all the state websites be screwed up at the same time?

Insurance regulators are constantly hunding insurance companies to prove they´re fiscally sound eneouh to pay claims.Years ago there was a company in the midwest that offered really low rates but went bankrupt because they couldn´t pay claims. So insurance companies maybe overcharing to make sure they have the funds to pay cliams. They´re hampered by this stupid law forcing them to use 80% of revenues to pay claims.
How do we even know if government computers are interfaced with insurance companies.

To make this even more sickening, the government would be happy to sign up a lousy 7 million people to the plan by the end of march. That´s a far cry from Obama´s claim that everyone will have insurance. The only people who are going to pay these staggering rates are people who need constant treatment and they may be trown under the bus.

The real problem emerging already are the tweeners.People that make too much for medicaid but to litle to buy insurance. If they were interested in more people getting coverage they coud have just raised the medicaid qualfication amount.

We can clearly see the chaos in his obamaCare rollout. Why was a broken application rolled out? Did NOBODY test it? Or was it just that nobody wanted to tell the boy-King what he did not want to hear?

So the Republicans demand a 1 year delay, and obama says NO, adamantly.

Probably obama´s only shot of fixing the thing is to take it offline for a year. Seems there are so many defects they can´t fix it on-the-fly, aka "Hotfix". Hotfix for more than a few days just brings worker burnout.

Thinking this will be obama´s Waterloo.

Obama War Room: Make It Stop

JOE BIDEN: Boehner ain’t bendin’, Boss. Maybe we overreached. I’m getting’ angstrous.
OBAMA: Jack, you said they’d fold in 3 days.
LEW: That was Valerie, sir, not me.
OBAMA: Valerie can do no wrong. I say it was you. Well?
LEW: [bowing] Yes, sir, it was me.
OBAMA: What’s our exit strategy in case the polls turn?
BIDEN: Double down, Chief. Suspend federal aid to daycare centers; command nuclear subs to cease patrolling and surface; close the interstates; declare the continental U.S. a no-fly zone; flip your internet kill switch--uh, it´s right there next to your phone; order the IRS to raid Dunkin Donuts’ headquarters on suspicion the company has been importing coffee beans from an area in Southeastern Brazil that is home to the endangered Brazilian spiny rice rat.
OBAMA: Hmm. I lost you on that last one, Joe.
BIDEN: All the franchises shut down for the duration of the probe, Boss.
OBAMA: Ah. We make it hurt so much people won’t care anymore who’s to blame; they’ll just want someone to step up and end it.
BIDEN: Exactamundo! Then you go on Letterman, Ellen, and Sesame Street and announce that you’ll be the grownup and meet Boehner halfway. You won´t really, of course.
OBAMA: That´s the plan if we’re taking the hit. What do we do if the polls get worse for Republicans?
BIDEN: Same thing, Chief, except for meetin’ Boehner halfway. Keep the government shut down till midterms, with the GOPhers twistin’ in the wind the whole time.
OBAMA: Okay. Treasury, Defense, HHS, enact the measures Joe suggested. Immediately.
JAY CARNEY: We’ll need a good optic, sir. I’ll alert the media that tomorrow at 9 a.m. , you’ll be outside the shuttered Dunkin’ Donuts on 601 F St NW. While there, shout and stamp about with the other protestors we´ll bus in.
OBAMA: Ooh. Just the thought of not getting something I want makes me angry.

Yesterday, after watching two different TV shows with constant chaos going on for the duration my mind started to wander. I realized the directors of these relatively new shows were copying Obama´s style of chaos all the time. I wondered if it was deliberate or just a coincidence.

VDH´s last two paras sum up Obama: "The media, of course, accepts that what Obama says on any given day will contradict what he has said or done earlier, or will be an exaggeration or caricature of his opponents’ position, or simply be detached from reality. But in their daily calculus, that resulting chaos is minor in comparison to the symbolic meaning of Obama. He is, after all, both the nation’s first African-American president and our first left-wing progressive since Franklin Roosevelt.

In comparison with those two facts, no others really matter."

Just 40 more months of chaos until it´s, hopefully, over.

The manufacturing of chaos is part of several serious personality disorders, but in the case of Antisocial Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder there is a component described as this: "These people sometimes derive pleasure out of inflicting hurt or struggle on other people or animals."

Sound like someone who would tell the Park Service to "inflict the most pain" on citizens?

This man is sick. Not an ideologue (he is, but not the real problem), not petty, not from another country, not any of that.

He lies so blatantly, because in his reality, what he is saying is true.

(By the way, the basis of compulsive lying is also found in Antisocial Personality Disorder.)

Like many of the so-called media, though, they don´t see it. I fear primarily because they are equally afflicted with these mental problems. (Thinking of James Carville? Did anyone one else read parts of Dowd yesterday? ´Nuff said.)

If they admit that Obama is "problematic" they´ll have to admit it about themselves.

That´s why I say that destroying a large part of the media is our only, only, only option. We will never hear the real truth -like Obama or the "jourolist," we hear their truth.

The venerable VDH has written a stellar, well-constructed column once again.

In short, whenever the president prefaces a sweeping statement with one of his many emphatics — “make no mistake about it,” “I’m not making this up,” “in point of fact,” “let me be perfectly clear” — we know that the reverse is always true.

Those verbal tics Obama uses are a clear giveaway that a lie is forthcoming. So are his big words when small ones will do -- another tic that reveals that it´s more about ego than about the truth.

This is spot on:

But a third explanation is more likely. Obama simply couldn’t care less about what he says at any given moment... He is detached and unconcerned about the history of an issue, about which he is usually poorly informed.

As a malignant Narcissist, this fits perfectly.

The media, of course, accepts that what Obama says on any given day will contradict what he has said or done earlier, or will be an exaggeration or caricature of his opponents’ position, or simply be detached from reality...He is, after all, both the nation’s first African-American president and our first left-wing progressive since Franklin Roosevelt.

The lengths to which people who have been proved wrong will go in order to save face is truly staggering. That Obama´s life, policies and personality are utterly incoherent seem not to matter to the True Believers.

“Never Mind!”

Emily Litella said it best. What she said yesterday will no longer be valid tomorrow. Likewise Barack Hussein Obama. Never take him at his word inasmuch as eventually his word will be given the ol’ switcheroo. Just be patient! He’s a slow thinking, low info voter. “Never Mind!” should be affixed to his presidential seal.

And while on the subject of ‘eventually,’ what’s with this ‘one-year-postponement’ business? I believe Obamacare needs at least ten years to iron out the bugs. 20,000 bug-infested pages ain’t chopped liver, chaotically and mixed-metaphorically speaking.

And finally… Exempt or Not Exempt? THAT is now the question!

Once they feel the tingle and probing of Obamacare´s tentacles in their purses and wallets searching for more money, they´ll know what to do.

Obama now has a track record. The truth of the matter is something known well here. He can say just about anything without the press pouncing on his contradictions.

"The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous." Joseph Goebbels

Isn´t chaos also part of the Alinsky method for disorienting one´s opponents? I haven´t read Rules for Radicals, but it makes sense to constantly change the subject and keep things in an uproar so your opponents can never quite catch up to your lies.
That being said, I´ve been convinced Obama´s a malignant narcissist for a long time.
So perhaps he´s bad on purpose and he also can´t help but be bad. That´s big-time bad.

A modern day definition of "chaos":

Electing as POTUS, an undocumented communist foreign student who is: (1) Also a devout Muslim (2) Never held a regular 8 to 5 job in the real world, punched a time clock or had to meet a weekly payroll (3) Never served a day in military uniform and couldn´t pass the basic security clearances necessary to serve as a present-day private/seaman in the rear ranks and (4) Never previously managed anything, to include a corner donut shop or McDonald´s milkshake machine.

#16 said: "I´m convinced O has info on every Congressperson and most of the media. They can´t all be that stupid and feckless."

Exactamente (Spanish), precisement(French), genau(German) - there is no other conclusion.

I would say there are a few exceptions to the above conclusion, one of which is Ted Cruz. This man is fearless and waaay smarter than they are, and he knows the law. I think they will be sorry if they mess too much with Cruz who has authored more than 80 United States Supreme Court briefs and presented 43 oral arguments, including nine before the United States Supreme Court. Cruz´s record of having argued before the Supreme Court nine times is more than any practicing lawyer in Texas or any current member of Congress.*

*From Wikipedia and this additional piece of information I found to be quite interesting and it brought a smile to my face: After graduating from Princeton, Cruz attended Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Juris Doctor. While at Harvard Law, Cruz was a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review. Referring to Cruz´s time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant."

The reason for the smile - editor of the Harvard Law Review, and "off-the-charts brilliant" characterization by Professor Dershowitz". I think Cruz may have some interesting information not yet revealed about Barry Soetero, since their paths must have somehow crossed with their similar Harvard backgrounds - especially the Harvard Law Review in which no one can find anything authored by Barry.

Chaos is Obamacare is chaos. When low information ( not ignorant ) Americans realize they have been bamboozled for the last 4 years about the ACA law, they may start to turn the tide of support for their ´savior´. Hopefully they will review ALL the facts, not just the premium costs, as the total package will affect their health care and their financial situation. They MUST understand the premiums, the co-pays, the coverage, the deductibles, the caps, the providers available, the subsidies, and so forth. Also, signing up on for a law based on one´s income on Jan 1 is hardly a harbinger of what one´s income will be throughout the year, as many financial changes can occur, but the subsidies are based on income, and the next years April 15 Federal income tax could bring sticker shock
if they have estimated their income incorrectly.

One of VDH’s offhand comments in this article made me realize that Republicans did something absolutely brilliant during the Obamacare/Government Shutdown debate - they called for a 1 year delay in implementing the individual mandate. It is brilliant because:
> The Obamacare exchanges are hopelessly flawed, are going to fail epically, and will take Obamacare with them,
> Delaying the implementation of the individual mandate is the only way to avoid this epic failure,
> Obama and the liberal echo chamber have convinced themselves that everything that Republicans support must be bad,
> They therefore won’t ever consider the one thing that might save them from themselves.

While it is pathetic that we have a president who acts this way and a Dem party that thrives on irrational behavior, it is terrifying that they are not being called on it by the media or, for the most part, the public. Victor Davis Hanson, popular, entertaining, factual, beautifully observant, cites solid truths about this consistently non factual person in the White House. Hansen describes Soetero’s inconsistencies, lies, and his prevarications are so consistently untruths, that he concludes, the reverse, Soetero is highly consistent …… at lying. Hansen adds that whenever he happens to tell the truth, this “IS AS SERIOUS LAPSE” That’s almost funny, but you can count on Barry ! Not to tell the truth. Very reliable in lying. His cliché line, “I’m not making this up”, sounds exactly like Richard Nixon. Clever writing. Good for all of us to read. But why does he not dig deep enough to even suggest Barry’s evil influences causing all this constantly happening “chaos”? He misses a great opportunity to include: he’s advised by the Jaret Soros Holder Puglosi Reid Schumer Feinstein Communists, and surrounds himself primarily with only Communists, follows the Goebbels big lie propaganda ways, and is backed 24/7 by the mainstream American communist influenced press and TV news. That is the safe-house basis for all of his consistent, predictable lying ways. Throw in a few serious childhood created, unresolved psychological problems, and you have the imposter himself, Barry Soetero. Grab anything, any bits and pieces out of Wikipedia, Amazon book excerpts, quotes, little bits of words of Hitler, Goebbels, Stalin, Lenin, Marx. Get familiar with recent totalitarian monstrocities. Satisfying, easy, reading to see the stealth guidance of this administration explained more clearly.

This is the socialists making their move and Obama is their puppet. He looks like a disinterested actor reading the pronouncements of a committee because he is. He´s Pinocchio to the left´s Geppetto, spewing whatever lies his handlers find appropriate to keep the leftward move going. They could care less if the words contradict those previously spoken . . . they know the audiences are little more than children, ignorant dupes and puppet show aficionados enthralled by the show. Chaos is part of the show. It´s entertaining especially to those who appreciate the dreams of the utopian left. Besides, chaos renders the show immune to critics . . . in other words it doesn´t have to be consistent, it is only intended to feel right at any given moment.

I also thought of the Allstate Mayhem commercials but it is more than that. The personification of mayhem in that ad knows who and what he is. Obama is a walking list of pathologies who is clueless there is something seriously wrong with how he relates to the world. Unfortunately in our media era with its rampant self promotion such pathologies are often glossed over as admirable signs of high self esteem rather than as destructive traits.

This is a man who seems to have few if any personal friends. He has shown indifference to his grandparents and half siblings. He will publicly taunted his wife about her fight with a weight problem that he does not have. He has to be the best at everything, claiming accomplishments and talents he does not possess. He takes all the credit and none of the blame. He lies constantly, often with no good reason. He blames others-sometimes in that nasty-nice superior tone that such people can´t help themselves. Then he turns vindictive towards those who fail to hail him as the great one.

The only point in Obama´s favor in the midst of all of this chaos is that proven insanity can rescue a criminal from a lot of jail time. He just might cheat Leavenworth when he is arrested but the catch will be that the democrats must admit that he is as crazy as a cat in a funhouse.

This article by Robin of Berkeley from a few years ago keeps coming to mind when discussing Obama. She tries to get inside his head and what she finds is very disturbing.

Our story begins, as these stories often do, with a young up-and-coming politician. He´s a deeply personable man and a member of the Democrat party. He is completely single-minded convictions and has no regard for the political process. It exist solely as a tool for his advancement. His party has no true core beliefs save one, the acquisition of power. The party is so plagued by identity politics that the traditional routes to senior leadership are effectively shut off and the only remaining route is collated victimhood.

Eventually, his party launches a special project in the name of ´affordable health-care´. At first, it is believed to be a safety net for the un-insured and it is pursued regardless of its cost. However, the true goal of the project is power, complete and total hegemonic domination of the citizenry.

The project, however, is a failure... but the efforts of those involved are not in vain. Imagine a financial scheme so complex that no accountants can come up with a common answer. Then imagine that one man can stand in opposition to your scheme. If your ultimate goal is power, how best to dispose of your remaining opponents? It is at this point in our story that along comes a spider. He is a man seemingly without a conscience; for whom the ends always justify the means and it is he who suggests that his party should not support the sole principal opponent of the regimes scheme. Rather, that they should target their own man. In all three targets are chosen to maximize the effect of the attack: a Senator from Texas, a former Governor of Alaska and a successful Surgeon from a respected Medical School.

The rest, as they say, is history.

A $14,000 jumble sale find turned into millions of dollars for a man who´d been thwarted in his attempts to turn a quick profit by selling the tiny ornament to scrap metal dealers. The man, who hails from the Midwest but wishes to remain anonymous, had been left financially stretched after he apparently overestimated what the tiny golden egg would be worth once melted down. He´d been hoping to make $500. In a fit of desperation one night last year, he typed "egg" and the name engraved on the clock it contained -- "Vacheron Constantin" -- into Google.

NBC 5 Investigates has learned that a potential Illinois candidate for the U.S. Senate has a Florida home listed as his family’s primary residence -- and is receiving a healthy tax benefit because of it. Dairy magnate Jim Oberweis is running against Doug Truax in next week´s primary election for the Republican nomination, and the opportunity to run against incumbent Sen. Dick Durbin in November. On Monday, NBC 5 learned that Oberweis was spending the week before the primary election at his condo in Bonita Springs, along Florida´s Gulf Coast. NBC5 Investigates has now uncovered tax documents which show that

A wire fox terrier named Sky won "best in show" at the 138th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York on Tuesday, besting canines in six other groups at one of the oldest sporting events in the United States. Betty Regina Leininger of Frisco, Texas, awarded the top prize to Sky at this year´s event in Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. The win makes it the 14th time the wire fox terrier has won the competition, more than any other breed since the show´s first staging in 1877. The wire fox terrier´s last win was in 1992. No other

Women´s rights activist Sandra Fluke appears to be moving forward with a run for Congress. Fluke has filed with the California state Democratic Party to seek its endorsement in the race for retiring Rep. Henry Waxman´s (D-Calif.) seat, according to the state party Web site. A state party delegate confirmed to Post Politics that Fluke has filed and paid the fee to appear on the ballot this weekend. Fluke hasn´t officially announced her campaign or filed with the Federal Election Commission, and she didn´t immediately return a request for comment. The president’s problem right now is that people think he’s smart. They think he’s in command, aware of pitfalls and complexities. That’s his reputation: He’s risen far on his brains. They think he is sophisticated. That is his problem in the health insurance debacle. People have seen their prices go up, their choices narrow. They have lost coverage. They have lost the comfort of keeping the doctor who knows them and knows they tend to downplay problems and not complain of pain, and so doing more tests might be in order, or tend to be hypochondriacal and probably don’t need

Two statements explain the huge failure of Obamacare. One is by President Barack Obama, the other is about him. The first was made in St. Paul, Minnesota, at the end of the 2008 primary campaign, when candidate Obama predicted that generations would look back and see his nomination as “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.” Couple this with the assessment of his closest aide, Valerie Jarrett, about his exceptionalism. “He knows exactly how smart he is,” she told Obama biographer David Remnick. “And he knows that he has the

Nearly two weeks after the federal government launched the online Health Insurance Marketplace at HealthCare.gov, individuals who have successfully used the choked-up website to enroll for a subsidized health insurance plan have reached a status akin to urban legend: Everyone has heard of them, but very few people have actually met one. The Miami Herald searched high and low for individuals who completed enrollment for a subsidized health plan through the marketplace, also called an exchange, launched by the federal government on Oct. 1 in 36 states, including Florida.

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. “On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
