This story is just coming out on the national wires this afternoon, so early details are few and hopefully we’ll have some more updates as we go. But the early indications are that when things are falling to pieces anywhere in the world, our SEAL teams are still ready to step up. Following the mass murder at the shopping mall in Kenya, much of the world became acquainted with al Shabaab, the local branch of radical Islamic terrorism. They may have felt rather proud of themselves after that stunt, but apparently the Good Guys made sure the party was short

The idiots in the Administration better not reveal which Seal Team did it, like they did the last time. We don´t need them in anymore risk than they already are.

God Bless and keep you Seals. America loves you guys!

Who are the leakers and what´s their motivation? Does the press check it´s sources? It would be interesting to investigate how, and through whom, information from these kinds of missions makes it´s way into media.

They took terrorists alive in Nairobi last week. Both of these raids have Kenya connections - I assume they got good information out of at least one of the terrorists, I don´t even want to think about how they extracted it. The Seals have now acted on that information. The news of these actions should make every associate of everyone in the Nairobi mall attack nervous. Perhaps they will move, perhaps they will talk to each other, probably the Seals will catch some more but that we will never know about.

And now everyone will ask, "Where was Øbama and Kerry during the raid?" No matter what, they´l photoshop them in - and it again will not matter about the mistakes. Funny how during the raid to kill Osama, Barry was wearing a woman´s polo shirt (buttons on the ladies side of the shirt) OR, someone had photoshopped him in and had to mirror the image to make it appear he was actually watching the video screen. But, that did not matter to the media- they report what they are ordered to report.

President Barack Obama is in a funk. Americans are coming to see the president as ineffectual. That is a dangerous perception. Obama’s job approval rating is at risk of dropping below 40 percent. Democrats may lose their majority in the Senate this fall. It may be difficult for the president to accomplish anything during his last two years. In the March NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, 42 of registered voters say they would be less likely to vote for a candidate endorsed by Obama. Only 22 percent say they would be more likely to vote for Obama’s candidate. Why is this happening? Republicans

Barack Obama’s legacy legislation, the Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA) – commonly known as “Obamacare” – has clearly become the political equivalent of the wreck of the Hesperus. If there was any doubt remaining about that, it was all but removed by the administration’s recent decision to provide “hardship exemptions” to just about anyone who can work up the energy to apply for one – and its admitted inability to control the security of its own web portal. In case anyone forgets, Longfellow’s “The Wreck of the Hesperus” is the tragic story of a ship that floundered and sunk as the result

The story of the first-generation Ghanian-American student accepted by all eight Ivy league schools is wonderful, but it also stirs up the tension between black Americans and recent African immigrants — especially when you describe him as "not a typical African-American kid." At one point the piece reads: Being a first-generation American from Ghana also helps him stand out, Cohen says. "He´s

Why isn´t the Obama administration willing to finance the customs plaza for the new international bridge over the Detroit River between Detroit and Windsor, Ontario? That´s a question raised by this article in the Wall Street Journal. As the Journal notes, the government of Canada has agreed to pay, as part of a public-private partnership, about $3.65 billion for building the bridge, including a $550 million link with Interstate 75 in Detroit. The new bridge would provide an alternative for the privately owned Ambassador Bridge, which was opened in 1929. Yet the Obama administration isn´t ponying up $250 million to build

President Obama’s diplomacy by tourism has gone very sour. After being scolded by the Pope for Obamacare’s forcing religious institutions to provide contraception and abortion coverage, Obama jetted to Saudi Arabia where he was scolded by the Saudi king about his failure to send aid to the Syrians fighting Bashar Assad and his nuclear agreement with Iran. It’s getting tiresome. President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry are carrying on as if they have everything under control, every crisis has abated, and no one should be overly concerned. Russian military drills near neighboring Finland have provoked concern that northern Europe may be the next focus of Moscow´s seemingly renewed appetite for redrawing its borders. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
