Twenty years after Vanity Fair special correspondent Maureen Orth reported on the sexual-abuse case involving Woody Allen and Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter Dylan, Orth reconnects with Farrow to discuss her human-rights work, her relationship with Frank Sinatra, the home she created for her 14 adopted and biological children, and the scandal that nearly destroyed it, 20 years ago. For her piece in the November issue, Orth talks to eight of Farrow’s children, including the long-silent Dylan, who speaks on the record for the first time about the alleged incident. Farrow discusses her relationship with Frank Sinatra, telling Orth that Sinatra was

When I was a kid, my mother who was about as star-struck as a ranch-raised rancher´s wife in remote West Texas could be, was very impressed that Mia´s mother, Maureen O´Sullivan, gave up her career for her husband and children. A few years ago, I read that Johnny Farrow was a legendary Hollywood sleep-around, so I´m glad my mother didn´t know that part of the story.

I have great sympathy for the experiences the children have suffered and the scares it has left upon them. It wasn´t their fault that their mother was nothimng more than a common garden gnome road whore.

Some may think, "Who cares?", but it seems that Mia Farrow´s children have, like MIa, compassion for those who suffer. Woody Allen is a pervert who defended Roman Polanski, another Hollywood pervert.

Interesting article. In Anthony Summers´s Sinatra: The Life (which I highly recommend for anyone interested in the public and private life of the Chairman of the Board) there are voluminous footnotes after the text, and in one footnote, Summers reveals that when Frank heard about Woody Allen´s unfaithfulness--with his adopted daughter, no less--he called Mia and helpfully offered to have both of Woody´s legs broken. Mia didn´t want to go quite that far. It´s interesting to learn that she thinks that Frank might be the father of Ronan Farrow, who looks shockingly similar to Frank. He looks nothing like Woody.

I also recommend the Woody Allen-Mia Farrow movie Broadway Danny Rose (1984), which is fairly typical Woody Allen fare. The scene with the laughing gas is very funny.

Woody will still be a darling of the Leftist elites - his films and comedy routines favored Leftist causes and that takes precedence over his perversions and abuses of small children.

There is recurring wonder at how the Left protects and rehabilitates their pets. It should not be any surprise. The Left has defended and supported Mussolini, 10 million dead, Hitler, 25-50 million dead, Stalin, 100 million dead and Mao, 300 million dead. These are rough numbers but still, a half a billion dead people? Whats a little child rape for people who look at snuffing out a half a billion people?

I understand the "who cares?" response, but unfortunately, we´d BETTER care. In the absence of our objection these people and others like them have for decades been defining the popular culture that bombards us and our children.

An anecdote:

Recently while rummaging around the cable channels I came across an early Mia Farrow movie. I had the sound muted and watched it a bit with the sound off. I can´t recall which movie it was, but she was the female love interest in it. Seeing only the visuals, with no distracting sound track, it quickly became apparent that they had her dressed like a child, acting child-like, and striking child-like poses. I changed the channel. It was sick.

Remember, Farrow´s big movie, Rosemary´s Baby, was directed by ... Roman Polanski. By the way, Frank Sinatra was only 4 years younger than Mia Farrow´s mother, and 30 years older than Mia. There´s plenty to go around.

Ronan Farrow also looks a lot like his mother, Mia Farrow. It´s anyone´s guess whether he is Frank´s son, but it does make an interesting possibility. An better alternative to the loathesome Woody Allen whom Mia once married, too.

Mia Farrow and her sort of airy-fairy liberalism played a big part in her tumultous life story. She brought this to her children. Deserves to share the blame.

I wouldn´t take one word the self-serving, mildly psychotic Mia Farrow said for truth - or anything even approaching it.
She seems demonstrably far crazier than Woody Allen while only half as intelligent. Consequently not nearly the entertaining body of work - with most of the entertaining ones produced under his direction.

Poster who contrasted Farrow´s own odd relationship with man 30 years her senior to Allen´s with young woman he was never related to in any way or bonded with in any parental sense was right on point.
She´s really just a bitter old frustrated hag.
Also, had once thought Ronan Farrow did in fact resemble Woody Allen, but wow, those eyes.

Here’s a thought for the day: Most people are “nice”, but Christians should be nice with a purpose. I am not a fan of the sitcom Rev, which depicts a vicar trying to be kind to his parishioners – with hilarious consequences. His congregation is small, full of delinquents, and the eponymous clergymen is often driven to drink by their unholy antics. Justin Welby disagrees with the show’s depiction of Anglican life because he notes that many churches are growing. The Rev’s, by contrast, conforms to a self-lacerating vision of Christianity as nice but niche. But self-laceration is the stock-in-trade of the

Louisiana Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu, in a neck-and-neck race for re-election, is taking a lot of criticism over a new ad -- her first this season -- depicting herself taking on "Washington" to protect the interests of Louisiana´s oil and gas industry. Last week, the president’s lap dog blew his dog whistle. The administration’s “smart diplomacy” does not include providing aid to those who fight internal oppression or outside aggression and whose victory potentially would obviate the need for direct U.S. action. Hence, President Obama gave Iran’s Green Revolution the cold shoulder in June 2009. He denied aid, and then dragged his feet on delivering aid to non-jihadi rebels in Syria. Now, it should come as no surprise, he is unwilling to provide Ukraine with military aid or intelligence to defend itself against Russian aggression.

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
