President Obama lied to us --
he told America some real
whoppers about ObamaCare

Fox News, by Todd Starnes

President Obama lied to us. It wasn’t a white lie. It wasn’t a fib. It wasn’t a half truth. It was a bold-faced lie. “No matter how we reform health care, we will keep this promise,” President Obama told the American Medical Association in 2009. “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period. No one will take it away. No matter what.” That statement turned out to be a lie. Period. On Thursday I asked my Facebook community if they

Not only that, every Democrat who supported him, and still supports him, knew he was lying. They liked that he was lying, and admired him for pulling off the deception. Telling the truth is the kiss of death to any part of their agenda, and they all know it. Lying is their only MO, and they are all in on it. Democrats who pretend otherwise are lying.

I feel like we´ve all been transported into an episode of "The Twilight Zone" with Rod Serling´s voiceover informing us that in this dimension the leaders are chosen by their ability to lie audaciously, and that the more outrageous their lies, the more they are admired, loved, and even venerated by the majority of the population.

Baracko World. We´re in it, and we can´t find a way out.

The only two truths the Marxist Mulatto has sputtered were; "gas prices will go up´ and ´we will put coal companies out of business.´ Everything else has been lies.

#1 Is right on. I would add that the msm helped in spreading that lie and still does. The msm will say and do anything to help the marxist in our White House. How I loath the msm, they are the most despicable bunch of so called journalists since the Russian revolution. Look how many are now part of this abomination of an administration destroying the country. God help us.

I don´t know, the optimist in me sees that this may be the great turning point in this country´s 5-year long stupor. Sometimes we all have to suffer and hit rock bottom before we (and by we I don´t mean "us") can relate cause and effect and see the truth. Once that happens, maybe we will have the chance to change things and the pendulum will swing the other way.

I have friends who believe Obamacare won´t affect them. Either because of the "if you like your insurance.." lie or they work in corporate America and feel safe. They just won´t listen. As for the newly 65ers, just wait till they need a specialist and told the doctor/surgeon isn´t taking any more Medicare patients. Get those knee and hip replacements before the end of this year, folks.

By the time ObamaCare is fully implemented, I suspect most Americans will be begging for death panels – to put us out of our misery.

Indeed.

Starnes´ anecdotal stories are happening in every city, large and small all across America. Everyone wants a waiver; some are getting them, depending on whether or not they voted Democrat or can contribute BIG to Democrats.

No one wants this law except the low-information voters who swallowed the poison pill of belief in Obama and in Obamacare.

No one wants this bill.

OPEN LETTER TO DEMOCRAT PARTY: No one wants this bill. What´s the matter with you people? Do you enjoy watching the carnage?

Many of us Ldotters knew from day one, before he was even elected in ´08, that Obama was lying -- about just about everything. And he purposely LIED. And now, when his LIES are affecting his base, now the lies are being reported? Why couldn´t you see what millions of us saw 5 years ago?

Note to the GOP: You will NOT win by default. I loathe the GOP almost as much as the Libs. I will never again vote for a RINO.

long story short, I, along with my wife and two children, no longer have health insurance because of Obamacare. And what little chance I had of getting it through work, is now dead because of his illegal delay of the employer mandate. I have tried to think if ever before in my 53 years of life has a federal law directly harmed me. I don´t think so. Obama is the first President to ram through a law that directly harmed me. Nice job Mr. President and thank you (actually, I would like to substitute the word "thank" with a different verb) to all my fellow Americans who backed this jackanapes Obama. Anyone who knows anything about supply and demand would know this would happen. Thanks for NOT GIVING A DAMN ABOUT YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS.

Leftists lying brazenly are nothing new but the people to worry about are the idiots still posting smug ´we now provide health care to 30 mil previously uninsured´ etc. which is several lies in one. As always, handouts are the important thing no matter how much it costs financially, societally and structurally, along with leftists making sure they get credit for the mindless largesse.

I´m with #6. I think this lying, dictatorial rape of the American people will be recognized by even those who have had a film over their eyes since 2007. The truth of what the obamas and their flying monkeys have done to America can not be hidden after the disaster caused by obamacare is in full implementation. You think the economy and joblessness is in the tank now? Give it a few months. Something will give and I think it will be the patience of all Americans who have finally had enough. Senators and reps will no longer be able to hold town halls without fear. Obama will not be able to give his stupid speeches at high schools. They will all move underground like the snakes they are.

We are drowning, Ted Cruz threw us a lifeline, the elite Republicans including McCain, McConnell....cut the life line.

An important aspect of Sen. Cruz´s 21 + hours have given insight to many of the games the DC crowd plays.
Look at the list of only 19 Senators who were bold enough to stand with Sen. Cruz when they could have forced the 60 vote margin instead of the 51 votes for harry reid to strip from the bill the "defund" part. The balance of the Republicans after that are the ones in need of replacing or if a state allows, recalling. They are also lying to the citizens.
Coker showed total ignorance of the voting and voiced it over C-Span for all to see. The lack of knowledge was abundant........this guy is sitting and making laws?????? This is pathetic.

Less than two weeks after the law was signed my premium went up 75%. Then next week my plan was canceled because it did not meet the requirements of the (UN)Affordable Care Act.
Picked a new plan and raised my deductible to 10K and brought my monthly payment down under 300 bucks a month. Guess what, yesterday I received another letter, it went up to $356.

Yes he lied, but sadly we have more people interested in preserving the Republican Party than defeating this monster of a bill and president.

I remember way back when being a Communist in America was considered the worst thing one could be. And never mind the droll, more endearing Commie-Pinko-Meathead-Archie-Bunkerism of the word.

Well, fast-forward and guess what! We’ve come a long way, Baby. Now we have a Communist living in our hallowed White House. He’s not a maintenance man, security guard or sous-chef. No! He’s our President! OUR President, if you can fathom such a thing in your wildest dreams could ever, I mean ever happen. Behold what our beloved America has come to! And by all means, credit must be extended to ‘what brung us’ to this mind-boggling moment in our history: Voter Fraud and a Corrupt Media.

With Obama arbitrarily changing up the ACA at will, being the kingly saint he is, he could/will do it again. The corporate outrage has been mostly token. The DC commies set the ceiling at 30 hours so the situation could be adaptive for large corporations and they would not protest as much before implementation. Don´t be surprised if they start slowly lowering the limit from 30 down to zero. Then watch the reaction of corporations, the effect on the economy, the price of oh everything. Banana republic indeed.

Article doesn´t even mention the lies about the cost of premiums, no new taxes, and so forth. All the discussion the Administration initiates is about premiums, hiding that more important aspects of the law, such as deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, taxes, etc.

Interesting comment I received this morning about our Dictator-in-Chief:

Here´s what scares me about this: during his first year in 2009, four (four!) brilliant economists who had signed up in the wave of enthusiasm quietly resigned. (Google it!) They realized that the president could not understand what they were saying and would not read their briefs, and Axelrod, Jarrett and co. simply didn´t care -- they had zero interest.
On foreign policy, he is advised by Jarrett, Susan Rice, Samantha Power, and possibly Bo the dog. He will not consult, will not listen to experienced hands. The empty puppet "isn´t comfortable" with the very capable in their fields -- he relies on this small circle of highly political know-nothings for guidance.

What is his problem? Insecurity and narcissism, I guess.

I for one feel that there should be NO delay of this "Law" !!! Allow it to be implemented, and go into effect......Why ?

Because if it is delayed, (And that will be until after the 2014 election is over), the "Citizens" will not feel the pinch of this law until after the election. They will then end up voting for this regime and giving them the House back !!!

BUT, if this law really puts the pinch on them this next year, they WILL blame it back on the DEMs (who passed it to see what was in it), and hopefully vote their pocket books in 2014.

Maybe it will easier to then get the Senate back, and then vote to have this law removed !!!

BUT, if it´s start is delayed, the Dems will not get any blame on this mess !!!

The things we hear from the RINO Republican and Democratic Caucuses along with the White House tells me most of our "elected" members of our Legislative and Administrative branches of government are PATHOLOGICAL LIARS.

And not to leave out the Supreme Court, the Justices who are POLITICALY motivated rather than strictly committed to the Constitution of the REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Another truth/promise that Obama kept, #4, is to "fundamentally transform this nation". I will never forget that speech and wondered what he meant specifically but the mania was so ramped up, no one would ask. They touched on it with Joe the Plumber, when O tipped his hand to say we have to share the wealth. Then the second slip/tip came when the woman asked if he would deny her 90-something mother a heart operation for a pace maker. His response was YES, in the form of "well, sometimes you have to take a pill and just go on". Those of us who read books and parts of his own book were not fooled but those who can´t look past the color of his skin, opposite the intent of MLK, were not fooled.

It always depends on what ´lie´ means. From one perspective Obama is a congenital liar who contradicts himself constantly. He can do so because the lickspittle media allow him to do so. I think that part of it is explicit mendacity, part of it is slipshod thinking (´let me get this over with and get to the golf course´) and part of it is rank irresponsibility. He didn´t read the health bill and he´s going to tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear. He´s part Chicago pol, part eastern elite, and part a still member in good standing of the chum gang. He is now, indisputably our worst president ever. Carter was horrific but he was at least well-meaning and he labored (unsuccessfully and fecklessly, but he wasn´t on the golf course constantly).

Since the monopoly BIG LIE propaganda of Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, Fidel Castro,
Hitler, Goebbels, the BIG LIE always wins out over the truth because there is no BIG TRUTH allowed in a tyrannical big government

We have the BIG LIE in Obama, his Bush predecessors and both Clintons. Now we have this one episode of Ted Cruz creating big attention, and THE BIG TRUTH may have a chance. Ted Cruz was the only BIG TRUTH of this year against the endless BIG LIES of the imposter, the forger, the impersonator, currently in the White House.
It´s an uphill struggle, but BIG TRUTH will win out once all the good people SPEAK UP and shout down the BIG LIE. We must defeat
THE BIG LIES of Obama, his commie comrades, the Congress, Hollywood films, the press and the entire Diane Sawyer TV news actor media. It´s a huge job, but there are millions of honest people ready to counter
THE BIG LIE the way Andrew Breitbart did and
Ted Cruz is now doing ..... SPEAKING OUT
constantly questioning lying authority.

I have lots of questions. First, did anyone really believe this fairy tale? #16 Obama never explained what HE meant when he said fundamentally change America (maybe he didn´t know what he was saying, just reading?) but everyone cheered. What was so wrong with America that needed to be changed so drastically? What now? The longer this disaster is the law, the harder it will be to dismantle this abomination. Why do we have to wait until we all suffer irreparably?

If you or I were willing to lie for 17 years about being born in Kenya--which HE did in his publicity brochure that Breitbart uncovered just before his death--we would be willing to lie without hesitation about everything and anything else.

If you or I were willing to lie about who our real father was--and which one 30-second peek at the 6 photos in the lower corner of the "Dreams from My Real Father" website show is not even a close call--we would be able to lie without hesitation about everything else.

So please, gentle LDotters, STOP saying he was born in Kenya, even if he himself said so for 17 years until his presidential run began (and with full complicity of the massmedia). His demented mother was not so demented and stupid as to travel to Kenya, nine-months pregnant, to birth the liar.

So please think critically, distribute far and wide the link to his real father´s photos side-by-side with his and his dupe "father´s" photos on the "Real Father" website, and understand the real reason for his birth cert forgery (please, Bibi and Pootie!).

He IS a natural-born citizen, as his American-born, self-proclaimed communist mentor "Frank" WAS his real father.

Amazing how a Pulitzer Prize and a vast fortune await a credible journalist (oxymoron?) who simply reports what he sees on the Real Father website, but for some unknown reason will not.

When we have budgetary shortfalls OR when politicians need to extort votes.... Seniors are threatened they will not receive Social Security checks.

When States have budgetary shortfalls, they release inmates, layoff police and fire AND create my gun control.

Social Security, law enforcement, Fire Departments, Public Safety (Release of inmates) The government uses our safety nets as a means to balance budgets.... what makes people think they won´t do this to the Government controlled medical system (Obamacare)

The past shows our future and how the government will use Obamacare to extort some and for budgetary reductions......

All of Obozo´s lies should be ammunition for next year´s elections, but I fear that they will not. Simply because the Republicans don´t have the courage to call the dims on them. And the reasons are clear. Once one gets elected to eithe the House or the Senate, it doesn´t take long for them to begin to like the power and perks they gain by being a member of Congress. And they begin to see that this is a life time position, as such, every decision made is geared toward re-election. Just take a look at the numbers. How many stood up to try to get rid of Obomacare. Not very many.

And I personally am in the middle of having cataract surgery on both eyes maily because I have no idea if I will have insurance to cover it in the future. Yes, I do have cataracts, but not severe. And the Dr. agreed with me to have it done now. I go in Monday for the second (left) eye.

That 69 mil aren´t HALF. They aren´t even near HALF. They are the same old 30% or thereabouts who hate America except to the extent they can beg us to give them our money.

They need to be dispatched to nations where their kind are wanted!

Write my congressman? are you kidding? They couldn´t care less. Not where I live.

I´m in kind of a weird situation, in that I´m a self/semi-employed freelance old dude with no health insurance. The stupid half of my brain is telling me that anything is better than nothing, while the smart half is telling me that obamacare is far worse than nothing in every way. My country will likely be trashed beyond hope and I´ll still eventually get sick and die anyway.

I´m going with the smart half, but my question still stands. What to do now? obamacare is here. It´s here.

I figure the best we can hope for is that the a-holes in Washington will continue to kick the can down the road like they always do, counting on someone else to eventually clean up the mess after they´re dead, gone, or out of office. But based on what I´ve read -- including some posters above -- the wreckage is already piling up.

What are we going to do about this?

Obama lies through his teeth because he can. The press gives him a pass and refuses to investigate any negative stories about him. Republicans go along to get along because:
1 They´re afraid of being called racists
2 They want to get away with the same stuff when they get the White House back.
We are living in bad times, and I think we have the president we deserve.
I say let the whole thing burn down so we can start fresh.

Agree with #52. TheWon´s sole purpose in being president is to push his agenda down everyone´s throat regardless of what else is going on. Foreign relations, terrorist attacks, hurricanes and anything else that isn´t agenda related is ignored, brushed aside or treated as a speedbump and pushed past as quickly as possible. That´s why reports, experts, advisers et al. are ignored in favor of Vallerie Jarret´s directives. The Marxist/socialist/progressive/democrat party agenda trumps all.

Truth was that Stalin murdered 70 % of Soviet Officers corp before WWII because they knew he was a fraud who had done nothing during the Revolution and knew nothing about military - just like Obama - our No Nothing Fake POTUS!

The WON-abee Kommie Dicktater continues the DimWit tradition of lying to the
American people.

Since at least the days of JFK, that has been SOP to handle the GOP and other problems.
Not only was Jack Eff a fraud, but remember Lyin´ Lyndon´s "Credibility Gap"... ?

Back then, before the Nixon presidency reshuffled the deck, the media would
attack anyone, including DimWitz, and hold their feet to the fire.

The not-Great Society, Lyndon´s domestic wild spending, put the DimWitz in the
minority´s camp forever, however, buying them a permanent break.

Nixon took office and assumed the blame for Vietnam, conveniently for the DimWitz.
Then Watergate changed things even more...
And Billyboobboob Klintoon and company found it easy to get away with DimWit fraud.

The presstitutes now are openly a Ministry of Propaganda for our lying POTUS-POS.

It takes multiple co-conspirators to carry on long-term vast-scale fraud.

This is what we have today in America.
Turn it around or kiss the American dream Buh-Bye permanently...
as it devolves in The American Nightmare That Never Ends...

In 1974, upon assuming the orifice, POTUS Gerald Ford said...
"Our long national nightmare is over."

No, Gerald... slow-witted as usual...
It was just beginning then...
We are in full throttle nightmare right now.
And it never ends.

Easter 2014: A celebration of hope
Fox News, by Rev. Dr. James B. Lemler    Original Article

Over 2 billion people are celebrating Easter today, April 20, as the calendars of Western and Eastern churches coincide this year, and these billions of faithful people are celebrating HOPE. The Easter message begins with the hopeful news that death has been overcome by life, that hatred has been overcome by love, and that sorrow has been overcome by joy. The elements of the story involve women arriving at a garden tomb and finding it empty, but even better, meeting the risen Lord, the embodiment of life and love. Their lives are changed forever and so are the lives of many, many

Chocolatiers love a holiday, be it Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Easter. The French version of the Easter Bunny is Easter Bells (les cloches de Pâques)—which allegedly fly to Rome for a few days before the holiday to be blessed by the Pope before returning with chocolate eggs for the kids. But you don’t have to hunt very far to find French chocolate and pastry shop windows full of Easter eggs all trying to out-cute, out-class, or simply out-design one another. Good-looking pastries and other sweets are a modestly priced pleasure in France. But like fashion designers, French patissiers and chocolatiers

WHAT ARE the implications for Taiwan of China’s continued rise? Not today. Not next year. No, the real dilemma Taiwan will confront looms in the decades ahead, when China, whose continued economic growth seems likely although not a sure thing, is far more powerful than it is today. Contemporary China does not possess significant military power; its military forces are inferior, and not by a small margin, to those of the United States. Beijing would be making a huge mistake to pick a fight with the American military nowadays. China, in other words, is constrained by the present global balance

The immediate "crisis" portion of the standoff involving the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy over his cattle grazing on federal land ended last week. Whether this will be end of Bundy´s troubles with the BLM, who have been in court with him over his refusal to pay fees to them for decades, remains to be seen, with the Bundys reporting that they´ve received registered mail from the BLM this week that they haven´t opened yet. WASHINGTON — Daniel Swalm was researching his family when he came across a disturbing episode in immigration history. That discovery would lead to a move in the U.S. Senate to apologize for action the nation took more than a century ago. Swalm discovered that under an obscure 1907 law, his grandmother Elsie, born and raised in Minnesota, was stripped of her U.S. citizenship after marrying an immigrant from Sweden. Swalm had never heard of the Expatriation Act that required a U.S.-born woman who married a foreigner to "take the nationality of her husband." This “Open Letter to the Friends of Ukraine,” by a guest columnist who writes under the pen name of Irina Gokieli, dated April 19, offers the author’s pessimistic scenario of forthcoming events in what Vladimir Putin now calls “NewRussia.” “NewRussia” encompasses southeastern Ukraine and parts of Moldova. She predicts an invasion by regular Russian troops near the end of the first week of May under the pretext of restoring order, although she does not rule out, as an alternative, an alliance of Putin with certain Ukrainian politicians and oligarchs. Notably the author makes a persuasive case that the long-term consequences

Attorney General Eric H. Holder was reminded during a recent congressional hearing that he has been held in “contempt of Congress” — for nonproduction of subpoenaed documents. He interrupted with a personal rebuke of his questioner. Later, he suggested that questioning of his leadership, nonresponsiveness to congressional oversight, and referring to the contempt vote was evidence of racism. The accusation was made a second time, perhaps as a political stratagem, by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Let’s stop there — and stop the deflection, too.
