Actress Eva Longoria and Michelle Obama are teaming up to encourage people to drink more water. The two will be at a high school in Watertown, Wis., on Thursday for the event, which is a part of Obama´s Let´s Move! anti-obesity campaign. Longoria is a prominent Obama supporter who addressed delegates at the Democratic National Convention and raised funds for the president´s reelection bid. The first lady will also spend time with military families this week. She will visit military children at Fort Belvoir, Va., on Wednesday, the anniversary of 9/11. She´ll also stop by Intrepid Spirit One — which

I know someone whose doctor told her to drink lots and lots of water. She overdid it to the point that she suffered water intoxication. YES there is such a thing.
So I suggest doctors be specific when they say drink lots and lots of water.

Water is free right out of the tap. At the other extreme, you can buy really expensive spring water. If people are drinking enough water, its because they are letting other people or commercials tell them what they ought to be drinking. I´d bet a large amount of money that you´d be able to correlate the increase in the number of people on food stamps with the decrease in water consumption. If MO wants to help, get some rappers to drink water from a clear tumbler between performances.

Are they nuts? Water is the same as dihydrogen monoxide, which kills thousands of people each year by accidental inhalation, excessive sweating and urination, and is the main component in vomit. Dihydrogen monoxide is also the main component in acid rain, and accelerates corrosion and causes rust. Dihydrogen monoxide is also used in industrial solvents, in nuclear power plants, and as a fire retardant. It is also a known additive in junk foods. Liberals should ban its use altogether!

Emerge America was scrutinized for potential “improper private benefit.” No evidence exists that the IRS requested additional information from any Occupy Wall Street group. “Only seven applications in the IRS backlog contained the word ‘progressive,’ all of which

Just about everyone thinking about running for president is kicking it into gear now, slowpokes included. For months, many prospective 2016 presidential candidates have been rubbing shoulders with donors, networking with party leaders, getting on TV and otherwise auditioning for the contest ahead, especially on the Republican side. Their pace is picking up. A few are even admitting now what has been obvious for eons: They´re interested in the presidency, even if they aren´t ready to commit. Others have avoided the usual pathways, for reasons that make sense to them even if their inscrutability exasperates others. "This is the time

Michelle Obama’s campaign against obesity, and for healthy eating is a noble one. However, America’s public school students would beg to differ. In March of this year, the General Accounting Office (GAO) reported that 1.6 million students across America have dropped out school lunch programs since the Michelle Obama-approved Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act required schools to dramatically change what they can eat at lunch. Now, students are posting images of the “healthy, hunger-free” lunches on Twitter and Instagram. Let’s assume they passed on carrot sticks, salad and steamed vegetables as they made their choices. A major new Gallup survey suggests the ObamaCare sign-up numbers are not as soaring as the White House claims. The massive survey, released on Monday, shows the number of uninsured has indeed fallen to its lowest level in years, likely thanks to the Affordable Care Act. The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index measured the share of adults without health insurance. That shrank from 17.1 percent at the end of last year to 15.6 percent for the first three months of 2014. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters.
