Obama hints he may

President Barack Obama hinted Friday that he might not strike Syria if Congress rejects his authorization request. “I’m not itching for military action… and if there are good ideas that are worth pursuing, then I’m going to be open to them,” he told one reporter who asked if he was seeking alternatives to a missile strike. “Are we on a fast track to military action as soon as Congress renders its judgment one way or the other?” the reporter asked Obama, during his morning press conference in St. Petersburg, Russia. “Some in Congress have suggested giving the Syrian regime 45 days to sign

The problem is that his rhetoric last week said that Syria must be punished. If he backs down now like a wounded dog, Assad will celebrate as having frightened away the USA.

The world needs a neck brace to keep up with the whiplash from this guy.
Saturday , August 31, 2013 Obama :
" Now, after careful deliberation,
I have decided that the United States
should take military action
against Syrian regime targets. "

Less than a week later :
“I’m not itching for military action… "

Any Congressman or Senator who decides to give this seriously befuddled person
the green light to begin WWIII ,
should be recalled.
The problem for the House and Senate
should not be what to do about Syria, but, what to do about the mental health of the confused POTUS.

Throw in the towel, wave the white flag, on your knees and beg. Syrian rebels showed us what they are all about on that execution video linked to on Drudge yesterday. The Syrian Army soldiers that were captured. On their knees. Their backs bearing red welts from being beaten. Hands bound behind their backs. The the Big Bossman says a few words denouncing them, and shoots the first little guy in the head with a handgun. The video black screens just before the first shot goes off, but the sound track rolls on as the other rebel freedom fighters empty their AK-47´s into the heads of the rest of them. Next scene that comes up is all of their bodies dumped into some mass grave hole in the ground. The victims were captured Syrian Army members. If we send in our guys, the next video we get will be our soldiers getting the same treatment. Allahu Akkbar they shouted as they did their dirty deed. OK Barry Ohbomba, whatcha gonna do? Cut and run? Blame it on Republicans? Blame it on the world?

Russia Tests Obama´s Ability

Washington -- With the White House asserting that Russia is stoking instability in eastern Ukraine, President Barack Obama is once again faced with the complicated reality of following through on his tough warnings against overseas provocations. Obama has vowed repeatedly to enact biting sanctions against Russia´s vital economic sectors if the Kremlin tries to replicate its actions in Crimea, the peninsula it annexed from Ukraine, elsewhere in the former Soviet republic. Despite those warnings, Russian President Vladimir Putin appears to be testing Obama´s limits, instigating protests in eastern Ukraine, the White House says, and massing tens of thousands of troops on

By the end of this year, it’s estimated that 300 physicians will commit suicide. While depression amongst physicians is not new—a few years back, it was named the second-most suicidal occupation—the level of sheer unhappiness amongst physicians is on the rise. Simply put, being a doctor has become a miserable and humiliating undertaking. Indeed, many doctors feel that America has declared war on physicians—and both physicians and patients are the losers. Not surprisingly, many doctors want out. Medical students opt for high-paying specialties so they can retire as quickly as possible. Physician MBA programs—that promise doctors a way into management—are flourishing. The

Federal officials appear to be waiting out Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his supporters. Two days after a dispute over grazing rights, cattle and $1 million in fees and fines threatened to spin into a Wild West shootout, officials with the Bureau of Land Management promised they weren’t finished with Bundy. “The BLM will continue to work to resolve the matter administratively and judicially,” BLM Director Neil Kornze said in a statement that followed the Bureau’s decision to release nearly 400 head of Bundy’s cattle that had been seized as part of a fight over grazing fees. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
