The woman whose opinion lawmakers are relying on to go to war in Syria is also a paid advocate for the war-torn country’s rebels. On Wednesday, Secretary of State John Kerry encouraged members of the House of Representatives to read a Wall Street Journal op-ed by 26-year-old Elizabeth O’Bagy — an analyst with the Institute for the Study of War — who asserted that concerns about extremists dominating among the Syrian rebels are unfounded. “Contrary to many media accounts, the war in Syria is not being waged entirely, or even predominantly, by dangerous Islamists and al-Qaida die-hards,” O’Bagy wrote for the Journal
Comments: Bret Baier discussed this on Fox last night. Fox has used her, too, without knowing this background.
This is appalling. Why in the name of heaven is anyone listening to a 26 year-old anything about matters as grave as this. Then to find out this woman (girl) is deeply engaged with muslim factions and can´t possibly be objective in her own assessments. This is just the kind of seditious cr*p we should expect from this administration.
Isn´t this an interesting turn of events? So we can´t trust our government to shoot straight with us. Kerry and McCain are cut from the same cloth. They are both ruling elites, and they both used their military service as a leg up in politics. McCain is a war monger and I can´t for the life of me understand why considering his background. His opinion on anything should be suspect, but his opinion on anything having to do with going to war should be immediately rejected. They both have an agenda and it is not one that is good for this country.
A 26 year old girl wise in the ways of war and Arabs in the Middle East where women are considered furniture is advising our "leaders" on military strategy. Oakey dokey then... Putin was right about the monkey with a hand grenade comment!
With me, mccain (and little brother graham) have sunk to the level of democrat traitors. When their mugs appear on the tv screen, I either flip channels or hit mute. Not original, but obama, kerry, hagel and mccain really are the axis of weasel.
I watched this pretty girl yesterday on C Span, and wondered at the time how she could speak with such great confidence as to the composition of the rebel forces. She went so far as to say, or intimate, that Al Quaeda was almost non existent, and that the rebels would be allies of the u.s. amazing.
she´s been all over Fox. Very attractive. Very young. Well spoken, glib even. Yesterday someone - perhaps Cavuto - called her out on her position, opinions and source of funding. She kept saying that her only source of income was as a ´´contractor´´. That´s a very fluid term...
Gee, this "woman" is not even old enough to be off her parents´ health insurance policy!
In one instance, the Obama administration wants us to believe that she is a "child" and must be supported by her parents at age 26. In another, we are supposed to listen to this person as some kind of "expert" at age 26.
Wonder when she picked up her 10,000 hours toward expertise in war, al Qaeda, and Syrian rebels?
This is going to be one informative vote coming up on Syria ... Per Republicans it will differentiate and expose all the political elitists with ties to big Gov, to the war machine (NSA, CIA, etc..) vs. the true conservatives (less Government). Per the democrats it will expose the political power grabbers at any cost with NO ethics (for Obo) vs. the "true" liberals who are against intervening ... Interesting, Interesting!
#25, the Constitutional separation of powers has it that the Commander in Chief is in charge of management of the military ~ in peace and in war, although only Congress can declare war or call up the militia.
So, a True Conservative, in your mind, can´t be in favor of national defense and the use of huge, colossal even, thermonuclear warheads mounted on really big rockets owned by, Voila, the federal gub´mnt?
That we´ve gotta´ be in favor of small gub´mnt, not simply our federal system, with little Delaware and Rhode Island out there conducting foreign affairs and fighting their own wars?
Can I say that sounds like the ruminations of a 26 year old ~ just like the one we are talking about ~ someone who might even be an acrobatic ballerina pole dancer just like Snowden´s little co-worker?
Well, can I?
If you really want small, not just divided government ruled under constitutional principles, you can´t be a Conservative! We are realists and know there are bad guys in the world who´d murder us in the bed and fry our chillun´ for breakfast! We know they must be stopped. Assad is quite possibly not among that crowd, but there are others ~ lots of them.
Mooseface John Kerry the pacifist, anti-war, liberal demonstrator from the 60s getting his advice from a 26 year old muslim radical on thoughts of war. What a dupe. If this group of Washington yahoos had been around in 1940 we would certainly be doomed to defeat by Hitler and the Japanese. Just the fact that John McCain was playing cards on his cell phone tells me these jerkweeds are not serious. Not one dime or drop of American blood should be wasted on this middle east civil war. Bomb Iran if you have save face with the help of Israel. Ihat would get their attention.
On the one hand, Mr. Obama has chosen this pro-Syrian-rebel woman to parcel out information to his administration. On the other hand, he has Valerie Jarrett ordering him to stand down during critical moments requiring immediate US military response in our national interest. Is it any wonder this President always appears to waffle, to be ineffectual, indecisive, and without any core character principle?
Hey, McCain, and the rest of the wizards of smart, how about calling the NSA or your crack investigators, or even Google this woman, instead of playing poker while someone is briefing you? I appreciate his ability to multitask but it irks me that a topic so vital to national security bores this man so much that he amuses himself with poker while being advised. And we trust him? Sorry but his is the man who was captured and tortured, and glad he survived but clearly not one to show us how to evade and beat the enemy. Write about your experience and go home. We need hawks not dumbbells.
I don´t believe it´s any mystery that our government has been infiltrated by Muslim sympathizers. People have been writing same for about 10 years and while the warnings signs were there, no one seems to have had the incentive to do much about it.
Now we reap the whirlwind. Thank God some of these infiltrators, advocates of Sharia Law in America, are slowly being revealed.
One would think by now we´d be a tad cautious about vetting people. Obama´s "czars" are bad enough, but now we´ve got children advising Senators and Presidents how to further the cause of Islam in America.
Kerry, of all people, should know not to trust the opinion of a 26 year old:
Breitbart.com - September 2, 2013:
After Medea Benjamin of Code Pink broke into the hearing yelling anti-war arguments, Secretary Kerry retorted, “The first time I testified before this committee, when I was 27 years old, I had very similar feelings to that protester.”
Holy smoke! I watched Bret interview her on Fox the other day as a Syria expert and was thoroughly unimpressed. She was so bad I figured it must have been Bring Your Daughter To Work Day at Fox, and wondered who she was related to. She was stringing together these long, incoherent sentences that made no sense whatsoever. Very "what I did last summer." Very embarrassing. Very sophomoric.
I also understand the SETF organized McCain´s recent Syria trip. Who paid for it, since they are advocates for the rebels? And the ISW is worth a close look as well. Hardly a disinterested bystander.
When I saw this babe on Fox, I was amazed that she was being touted as some kind of authority on the rebel groups. She looked like an American but something was really off.
Then I heard her on the radio the next day as her assessment was being replayed. At that point "hearing" made me very suspicious because of her pronunciation of certain words - she did self-correct but not before I was truly alarmed. My question is: where was she educated?
By her Western appearance and her ability to speak English, I concluded that she is trying to pass herself off as an American, much like Valerie Jarrett. Hope McPain catches on that he´s being toyed with.
Dr. Kimberly Kagen started the Institute for the Study of War in 2007, according to their website. She is "a military historian who has taught at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Yale, Georgetown, and American University." I always enjoyed her pieces in the Wall Street Journal. But, I´m with the earlier poster. That place should be looked into.
So this 26 year old O´Bagy lady comes out of the woodwork and calls for the USA to effectively conduct military operations in Syria.
Who is this lady, is she even a US citizen? I smelled a whiff of Canada in her speaking style. She is obviously an agent for some foreign groups. It is up to the media to find all that out and report it.
The political mantra that came out of Chicago, but pretty much universally applies, is "we don´t want nobody nobody sent."
So, who sent O´Bagy? Who is her sponsor? Who vetted her? If she is "informing" US policy in Syria we are entitled to know.
She is credited with having studied at the American University in Cairo, but I can find no degree. Now she is reported to be in a joint MA/PhD program at Georgetown. But who are her parents? Where did she grow up? How did she come to study at the American University in Cairo? Is she even an American citizen? And is O´Bagy her real name, or is it something else trying to sound Western, like O´Bama would be? Is it really Obaji?
I saw her on FOX the other day and listened intently for some hint of an accent as I was certain she was a shill for Hamas or AlQaeda. And so she is. When oh when will our dear leaders ever learn that the Islamists are taught to LIE and decive when it is to their benefit. They are not engaging with the same rules the "western" world is accustomed to. Washington is a pack of fools!
Washington,DC–The Syrian Emergency Task Force is excited to announce the addition of Elizabeth O´Bagy as Political Director to our team in Washington, D.C. She joins us from the prestigious Institute for the Study of War, where she served as a Senior Research Analyst for Syrian politics and security.
"We are thrilled to have Elizabeth on board. Her skill set, expertise on the situation in Syria, and experience in Washington and abroad are invaluable to the work of the Syrian Emergency Task Force both domestically and in Syria," said SETF Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Mohamed Kawam. (Snip)
The Syrian Emergency Task Force is a D.C. based non-profit organization created in March 2011 to convey the democratic aspirations of the Syrian people to Americans and the United States government. SETF also seeks to bring perpetrators in the Assad regime to justice through legal avenues in the United States. SETF provides policymakers with analysis and access to both the external and internal Syrian opposition.
She is being paid by them to promote Assad´s downfall.
Thanks to all posters for the info above. I like FOX but get no opportunity to watch telecasts... I visit the FOX Nation site via the link on Drudge every day...
Bears repeating... regarding Fraud Kerry...
He´ll never do Lurch in this town again! His grade... Epic FAIL... !!
Now regarding Johnny McLameBrain and his Congress-Ho ilk... We need a Constitutional Amendment... For a citizen-sponsored RECALL Election for all national offices...
Obviously 2012 results were an Evil Fraud! Time for a complete RECALL Election for all House and Senate offices simultaneously! And for the Presiduncy and Vice Presiduncy, of course... a national refer-end-dumb.
We must never wait any longer for Eastern-based Elites (all Elitists) to do our work for us, because they never will!
We need legal measures now... to dump them all as we see fit by voting. One of the Liberty Amendments or whatever you want to dub them... Must be a citizen-generated immediate vote of NO Confidence in the Gummint... And a complete RECALL Election to rid ourselves of this pile of worthless... Tirds of a Feather... Chicken-Hawks who will screw US! Let´s dump them all ASAP!
They are being exposed for the Frauds they all are! We need the means to rid ourselves of this incompetent travesty of Gummint right now! A National Refer-End-Dumb! Buh-Bye, Dumb-O... !!
Can´t imagine a body of old political fools hanging on the advice of a devious 26 year old woman/child? Awww then Harken back to yester-year when the democrat Congress listened to a 26 year old intern named Hillary. She promised to get a president for them even if she had to make up the evidence. Round and round the monkeys chase the weasels ---
Elizabeth O’Bagy? Is there somewhere in this crazy mixed up world an Ibn al Doherty? And why on earth is our government being advised by a 26 year old, especially one who says that despite the fact that she is the director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force, she is really only a consultant on humanitarian stuff with that group. Where did she come from? What is her education? Is she best buds with Huma? How they must be laughing at this administration. And there are yet some who fear that if Congress nixes attacking Syria it will damage our reputation. That horse left the barn a long time ago. In fact, if Congress snubs Obama, it will be a good start at regaining our reputation.
27, I HAD to like your comment! That exact thought has been running through my mind too! So much so, I even went to youtube and looked the song up a couple of qweeks ago. I kid you not. I played it several times, because it just fit my mood ever so perefectly. Amazing you had the same thought and expressed it the same way!
Funny thing, a lot of the old anti-war songs of the 60´s fit so well now. Something´s happening here, what it is ain´t exactly clear. There´s a man with a gun over there, tellin´ me I got to beware...
O’Bagy is nothing but a modern-day Mildred Gillars (Axis Sally). What really scares me is the the our Secretary of State didn´t find out who she was before recommending her article publicly.
Lazy and inept. One of his aides probably handed him the article because it reflects the Administration´s naive and uninformed line about the rebels. He didn´t bother to find our who the author was - it was published in the NYT, after all - it must be the unvarnished truth.
ALL muslims are our enemies. There are no moderates. If there were they would work in their communities to suppress the murderous "radicals." Instead they just sit around silently waiting for the worldwide caliphate. The muslim religious/cultural/political/judicial/financial/social/militant system is all intertwined. A believer can´t just pick a portion to believe and ignore the rest and still be a "good" muslim. It ain´t a la carte.
This whole administration has bought into a finely-crafted muslim propaganda line. The religion of peace? Sure, there will be peace once we´re all under the thumb of a system dreamed up by a seventh-century pederast and warlord.
Now that I´m not on as much caffeine as I was while posting here yesterday...
I can recall I meant to include another comment about O-Bagy... when she was just O-Baby, 26 years ago or so...
Should we not demand to see HER birfin´ certimicut... ? Seems as though her bio, her history, is just a tad suspect... What about her transcripts, her passport and visa records... All those things we also needed about O-Bomber the NO-Bomber and never were provided.
Dealing with this Badmininstration and all its Bad Actors seems to be an exercise in utter futility.
Propaganda experts like the Marxists. There was an article about a 1979 article about the commies aiming for the black folks after the Civil Rights struggle and had a coalition with Muslims and their money also in the mix. I can´t get it with an online search but it seems the conspiracy or secret combine is at work..
Muslims have been schooled here, know what makes us tick but do not want to emulate us and do know how to fool us.Our strengths like openness and trust or is it our projection of our own goodness looked at as being in everyone?
Earlier this year, John Kerry and Chuck Hagel took over the top jobs at the Department of State and the Department of Defense, respectively. Since then, Kerry has been hyper-active. But whatever happened to Hagel? He has impinged on our consciousness only once, as Kerry’s sidekick during congressional hearings on authorizing an attack on Syria. The impingement was slight. Kerry and Gen. Dempsey did almost all of the talking. Hagel was content with silence except for an occasional misstatement of fact (the Pentagon had to walk back his claim that Russia supplies Syria with chemical weapons). Presumably, Hagel was under orders to
Former Vice President Dick Cheney reluctantly commented today on the rift between his two daughters Liz and Mary Cheney, saying that he was surprised that Mary, who is lesbian, and her wife attacked Liz on Facebook. “We were surprised that there was an attack launched against Liz on Facebook, and wished it hadn’t happened,” Cheney said at the National Press Club. “It’s always been dealt with within the context of the family and frankly that’s our preference.” After Liz Cheney, a candidate for Senate in Wyoming, made comments on Fox News Sunday indicating that she supports a “traditional” definition of marriage, her
DETROIT -- A judge has given Detroit the green light to cut pensions as a way out of the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history, a decision that puts the case in the laps of thousands of retirees who had hoped that the Michigan Constitution would protect them from getting smaller checks in their golden years. Judge Steven Rhodes said the city is eligible to stay in bankruptcy court and scrub $18 billion in debt, about half of that amount linked to underfunded pensions and health care obligations. But he also warned officials that they´ll need to justify any deep
CAIRO — The century-old home of Egypt´s mummies and King Tutankhamun´s treasures is trying to make the best out of the worst times of political turmoil. But the Egyptian Museum is taking a hammering on multiple levels, from riots on its doorstep to funding so meager it can´t keep up paper clip supplies for its staff. The museum, a treasure trove of pharaonic antiquities, has long been one of the centerpieces of tourism to Egypt. But the constant instability since the 2011 uprising that toppled autocrat Hosni Mubarak has dried up tourism to the country, slashing a key source of revenue.
This pony is raring to go. Two days before its official unveiling, blurry images of the 2015 Ford Mustang have been leaked on an enthusiast website. A member of the SVTPerformance.com forums has posted several photos of an early copy of the December 9th issue of Autoweek magazine featuring the car in a cover story. You can click here for a link to the website. If authentic, the car in the photos looks very much like many of the speculative renderings that have been circulating in recent weeks, and sports a modern take on the signature Mustang fastback design.
Frank DiPascali, a 33-year employee of the firm that ran the largest Ponzi scheme in recent history, took to the stand to testify against his former colleagues. Frank DiPascali, the Bernie Madoff henchman who won the role as the star witness in the biggest fraud case in American history, torched five of his former colleagues with his testimony Monday in federal court. Perhaps more important, DiPascali is the first witness to demolish the myth that Bernard Madoff ever had a legitimate investment advisory business. The star witness also pulverized Madoff’s assertion that he had acted alone in constructing the biggest
Chris Davis´ miraculous game-winning 100-yard field goal return for a touchdown will go down as the greatest finish in Iron Bowl history. It´s the type of finish that a fan wants to remember forever, if it means taking a commemorative photo, storming the field, or even scattering the ashes of a loved one following the game. In Alabama, college football is life and death, and following the Tigers´ incredible 34-28 win over the Crimson Tide on Saturday, one fan scattered the cremated remains of a loved one on the turf at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
WASHINGTON – The Pentagon has a message for its 24,000 employees who work in the massive building: Please don’t bring your unapproved bombs to work. In an e-mail to Defense Department workers, the Pentagon’s top security officer is reminding people that they aren’t allowed to bring bombs to work – even if they don’t work anymore – without prior permission. Bringing a bomb to work might seem like a no-brainer. But this is the Pentagon facility, after all, home of the nation’s top anti-roadside bomb experts, so it’s not uncommon for people to have a few so-called IEDs – Improvised Explosive Devices
Poor David Plouffe. The former Obama senior adviser and ABC News contributor said on This Week that the Affordable Care Act will “work really well” when all states run their own health-care exchanges and fully expand Medicaid–actions that may not be seen until President Obama is out of office in 2017. How convenient. The gift that ObamaCare is for America will only dawn on Americans after the president has left the scene. Mr. Plouffe added these observations. “Let’s fast forward to the State of the Union and the months after that. Health care working better, a lot of people signing up, the economy continuing
One-third of the people who’ve chosen health-care plans on the federal health-insurance exchange have, unbeknownst to them, had something gone wrong with their enrollment, according to the Washington Post. Their errors with these “834 reports,” the information transmitted to insurers once people pick plans, “include failure to notify insurers about new customers, duplicate enrollments or cancellation notices for the same person, incorrect information about family members, and mistakes involving federal subsidies.” Insurers have been complaining since the site launched about these problems. If they go unresolved, it’s a big problem for consumers, too: Insurance companies won’t be able to mail them
Though I have written about the fact often, it bears repeating that the National Education Association and its affiliates are employers. Between them they hire thousands of workers to perform a variety of tasks. Virtually all of these workers are covered by collective bargaining agreements in which the teachers’ union is management – bosses, to put it plainly. Union employees use the contract to set salaries, benefits, working conditions and protections against arbitrary actions by union executives. About 500 people work at NEA national headquarters in Washington, DC. A handful of unions represent them, the largest being the National Education Association
Why would the Democrats, who never seem to stop worrying about overweening presidential control, roll back the filibuster—and hand their own power to Obama? They’ll be sorry, and soon. I’m one of those neocons you used to hear so much about. I want a powerful presidency, able to project American power effectively. My bias is that Congress tends to be parochial, irresponsible, and self-interested. Worse, it’s dangerously easy for Congress to be captured by a minority of a minority of a minority: the Tea Party of today; the ultra-liberal Democrats of the mid-1970s. Under the theory of the Constitution, Congress
President Obama will cast growing income inequality and a decline in economic mobility as a “fundamental threat to the American dream” during a speech Wednesday in Washington. The speech will serve as an early preview for next year’s State of the Union address, according to a White House official, who said Obama would focus much of his energy over the next three years on the issue. “The decisions we make over the next few years will determine whether or not our children will grow up in an America where, if you work hard, you can get ahead,” the official said.
Good stuff from Jonathan Turley at today’s House hearing on executive power, although I regret that I couldn’t find a more user-friendly format for you to watch. There’s no compilation clip; you’ll have to make do with the C-SPAN embed by fast-forwarding to the time cues I give you and being patient while the vid buffers (and buffers, and buffers).(Snip)That brings us to point two: Even if Congress can’t stop Obama, the courts can. The problem there, though, says Turley, is that O and the DOJ have argued successfully in many cases that no one has standing to sue him
Bill Clinton, the cliché goes, was the first black president, no matter his skin color. That being the case, Barack Obama is not the first black president, or the first African-American president, if you prefer, but the first hippie president. Clinton’s southern background and lifestyle were indeed more typically black, just as Obama’s was more typically hippie. And we’re not just talking about the “Choom gang” here, scarfing “Maui Wowie” on the sands of Oahu. We’re talking about all of it, the whole multi-culti-missing-white-mother-vanished-Kenyan-father-anti-imperialist-America-is-always-the-enemy-and-don’t-you-forget-it-nine-yards. And like most hippie culture as I knew and experienced it, it wasn’t about “peace and love.” Not
During a presentation at the White House in which President Barack Obama touted the benefits of the Affordable Care Act, the president declared that his signature health care reform law was not going to be repealed. This assertion led his administration members, his staff, and audience members to rise from their seats and give the president a standing ovation. Obama said that ACA opponents’ alternative to the health care reform law is to champion repeal and going back to the health care delivery system status quo ante. He specifically cited Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) who he said was asked directly for
A woman has revealed how difficult it is to eat healthily and stay full when living off an average food stamp budget. Melinda Moulton, from Huntington, Vermont, was one of 200 people to take part in the 3Squares Challenge, which saw her living for a week on just $36 worth of food, or around $1.71 a meal. Opting to try and eat as healthily as possible, Ms Moulton resorted to cheap foods like yogurt for breakfast, two handfuls of peanuts for lunch and lentil stew for dinner, all of which left her unsatisfied.´I don´t know how people do it,´ said
Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways. Here’s the statement from Martin Bashir, via email: After making an on-air apology, I asked for permission to take some additional time out around the Thanksgiving holiday. Upon
[Video] President Obama on Wednesday declared that addressing income inequality would be the focus of “all” of the White House’s efforts “for the rest of my presidency.” In a sweeping address that touched on raising the minimum wage, investing in infrastructure and ending tax breaks for the wealthy, Obama warned that the American economy has become “profoundly unequal,” declaring economic mobility the “challenge of our time.” “The combined trends of increasing inequality and decreasing mobility pose a fundamental threat to the American dream, our way of life, and what we stand for around the globe,” he said in an hour-long
Nineteen people stood behind President Obama on stage in the Executive Office Building Tuesday as the president kicked off a new campaign to promote Obamacare. One of those people, a young Florida woman named Monica Weeks, introduced Obama after telling the story of being struck with Crohn´s Disease at age 19 and receiving expensive treatments for several years that were covered by her parents´ health care plan — because Obamacare allowed her to remain on that plan until age 26. Now, Weeks said, she has coverage through a job. "The Affordable Care Act gives young adults who are just starting
CNN host wondered out loud on his show this evening whether the physically unfit Chris Christie could follow the "perfect physical specimen" Barack Obama into the White House: "After the perfect Barack Obama, who´s a perfect physical specimen to many people´s eyes, does it matter?" Morgan asked his guest. "Or is actually somebody very different, someone who´s much more of a regular kind of guy who likes cheeseburgers and beer, but appears to be a straight talker, somebody perhaps more of a straight talker than it appears Barack Obama turned out to be?"
Continued global warming poses a risk of rapid, drastic changes in some human and natural systems, a scientific panel warned Tuesday, citing the possible collapse of polar sea ice, the potential for a mass extinction of plant and animal life and the threat of immense dead zones in the ocean. At the same time, some worst-case fears about climate change that have entered the popular imagination can be ruled out as unlikely, at least over the next century, the panel found. These include a sudden belch of methane from the ocean or the Arctic that would fry the planet, as
Nobody could accuse the press of ignoring the fiasco-on-a-server that is HealthCare.gov. The Obamacare website’s woes are dominating coverage on the network news, the cable talk shows, the blogs and, of course, high-octane websites like POLITICO. But did the press do a good job of covering the Affordable Care Act before the health care exchanges went online—sort of—on Oct. 1? Were we adequately warned of the troubles that were to come? And now that HealthCare.gov’s problems are headline news, is the coverage of it any better? Sure, one can find a few examples of one news outlet or another warning of impending
MSNBC´s Chris Matthews will interview President Barack Obama this Thursday, the network announced Tuesday. The interview is part of Matthews´ "Hardball College Tour," and will take place at American University in Washington, D.C. According to a news release from MSNBC, Matthews, along with university students, will "discuss a variety of topics with the president including voter suppression, healthcare, the decline of confidence in the government and the overall political dysfunction in Washington." On Monday our colleagues Carrie Budoff Brown and Jonathan Allen reported that the White House is launching a coordinated campaign to return attention to why the Affordable Care Act
