Russia releases 100-page report blaming
Syrian rebels for a chemical weapons attack

BERLIN — Russia has released a 100-page report detailing what it says is evidence that Syrian rebels, not forces loyal to President Bashar Assad, were behind a deadly sarin gas attack in an Aleppo suburb earlier this year. The report, which includes numerous tables and charts said to chronicle the scientific analysis of samples reportedly taken from the site of the attack, was posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website late Wednesday. Russian officials said the report had been delivered to the United Nations in July. Russia said its investigation of the March 19 incident was conducted under strict protocols established

After the hearings Wednesday, there is cause for even more suspicion of Obama and crew´s spin: A democrat(surprise) pressed Hagel for the transcript of the alleged radio interception of Assad´s military command discussing their alleged attack on civilians. Hagel did all sorts of manuevering to get out of it and finally blurted out it he didn´t know of any such transcripts and besides it was "probably classified". ha ha ha ha. slippery as slippery can be. The administrations "evidence" is all so subjective and more like "just trust us" which isn´t a practical idea.

These politicians are misleading and when cornered come out fighting like rabid, wounded animals, as Kerry did to Mr Duncan of SC when challenged. Ditto Hagel-hostile.

It has never made sense that Assad would use chemical weapons on the "rebels" when he was already winning the battle and even he would understand how those weapons would look to the rest of the civilized world, especially the U.S. The "rebels" on the other hand need OUR help in defeating Assad and Iran would be grateful for the assist because THEY want to replace Assad with one of their own. It doesn´t take a genius to figure out what is going on. BTW, obama and kerry continue to talk about the enormous amounts of "evidence" against Syria.....where is it?? Haven´t seen it yet.

I wonder if the chemical weapons attack might have been pulled off by the Syrian rebels in order to have the USA come in and help them.

# 6 - I posted the same comment over a week ago. Reports had been showing the ´rebels´ were losing against Assad. It would not benefit him to slaughter only a few people. The numbers would have been much higher in casualties.
Until obama´s Arab Spring, there was not unrest inside Syria. Syria is the continuation of the Arab Spring. Obama thought to help his muslim brotherhood take over all of the Middle East and beyond. The ultimate goal is the USA. Look how many muslims he has in his administration.
Look at what has happened to our economy under his dictates. Name one program or activity he has taken since being in the Oval Office which has benefited the USA and its people. Look what he has done world wide to break the bonds between countries.

What is the reason behind his wearing a ring, pictures of it when he was at Occidental, using it as his wedding band to moooochie and wearing it now that says, ALLAH IS GREAT?

I would like for just ONE reporter to ask about that ring to see what his comment might be.

The great irony is that either side would happily launch those missiles at us, given the chance. So, as long as they’re launching them at each other, why are we trying to stop them?

It would be fraudulent if Obama failed to disclose that rebels have used gas themselves. We could well be on the wrong side even with Assad being Assad. Either way, no good is done and life and liberty are less not more.

Picture over at Drudge this morning of Rebels executing prisoners. Shot in the head for show. Gee UN, isn´t that against all international agreements and laws. The Syrian Rebels are also shooting Christians and burning their villages.

I´m going to state this again. The Rebels have sarin gas, they have been caught with cylinders of the stuff, and they use anything they can get their hands on to kill people. These sadists are terrorists, the same type of radicals who killed 3,000 of our people on 911. They will do it again if given the chance.

Why the hell is any President or Congress even considering helping them kill more people. They are thugs and killers. They have a history of spreading chaos in any country they can. Helping them is madness.

Obama occupies the White House as a usurper sent there to create the Caliphate using American muscle and military.

Obama is the Guilty Party behind the chemical weapons attacks.

Arab Spring is about surrounding Israel with truly fanatic Muslim jihadists, instead of Nations that merely threaten Israel. The new Obama Caliphate is going to go after Israel with everything they´ve got.

That is the End Game.

The key issue is whether the Sarin gas was released by al-Qaeda as seems most likely, or Assad. After that, what do we want to achieve with the next Syrian government. I we bomb we own it. How do we get out of it? There are two million Christians in Syria who will be killed by the Sunni Muslims.

At least Russia has done some bare research
Let them all fight amongst themselves. We must STAY OUT. There is no gain, only death maiming and loss of mental health. Our 24/7 bribed, Congressional war machine must shut the hell up and go back to their greedy specialty: the $ waste of domestic theft. McCain´s "Alluh Akbar" quote ON TV, is the height of a crazed ignorant old man who epitomizes stupidity and the destruction of staying in office forever. AND of a lap dog press tht did not ridicule his supidity.
And FoxTV, our supposed ideological friend, interviews this tired-out corrupted old man almost every hour. McCain, Rubio, Schumer, Puglosi, Durbin, Reid, Feinstein, Boxer, these guys are all terrifying people. RINOS and plain outright Marxists, melding all together, as one. In unison, all pushing for more power over the people, more power for the federal government (Ayn Rand would call it The State). They´re all
"in on it" together. It´s so sick, they rarely argue with each other.

Just war gaming in a fog of disinformation... If I was in Iran I´d be checking the charcoal filters in my bomb shelter.

I´m still sitting here unsure if there was even a chemical attack. Did anyone actually see these victims buried? All I saw were motionless people (on drugs?) in body bags with slits over their noses.

Meanwhile, Russia apparently has intel that we plan to take out a nuclear reactor in Syria. Didn´t anyone know about this reactor before it became operational? I can´t believe Israel didn´t take it out before now.

On the other front, while the world is focused on our naval buildup in the Mediterranean and Red Sea, Iran may be watching the runway at our base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

I´m completely in the dark but it´s possible that red lines are involved, just not Obama´s. If this comes to pass, as I idly postulate, Obama will come out of this a hero. Not a pretty sight.

#8 is correct. The Arab Spring will continue as long as Obama is President. In Egypt, radicals tried deception in order to take power, but they were routed once their plan to radicalize the country was figured out.
The Syrian rebels are using the ´95 Bosnian/Serb playbook to get outside assistance in their attempt to radicalize Syria. They will not stop until the entire Middle East is one big Sharia Union.
I believe Russia´s report, even if it´s dated.

Russsia wants Assad in powere because they run natural gas lines thru to Europe. The corp is Gazprom. Gerhard Schroeder, Germany´s past Chancellor works for Gazprom.
Meanwhile Qatar and Saudi Arabia want Assad gone and apuppet in his place. So theycan run their gas lines thru Syria. Syria is on the Med. Tankers could transport to Europe which would drop hi prices pd to Soiets. This has been a complaint of the Europeans- hi prices.
QATAR bank-rolls the Syrian insurgents. Saudi kicks in some dough too.-

Do I believe everything Russia says - no; everything Syria says - no; anything muslim bros say - no; anything Obama says - no!!!

There is a way to know if the rebels gassed their own people for a "higher cause".
Did any rebel leaders or imams die in the gas that was released, or where they located at a safe distance?
Might the muslim bros consider this a mass, albeit involuntary version of suicidal attacks for Allah?

True #12 this does refer to an earlier attack but clearly the point being made is that if they did it before they could do it again. Obama´s and Kerry´s and the NYT´s evidence consists of a process of elimination . . . they speculate no one else had those chemicals except Assad so it must have been Assad. Here the Russians have presented every bit as strong evidence that the rebels had chemicals and have used them. That reduces Obama and Kerry to having a strong suspicion but really, really wanting to attack Syria. Their motives need to be investigated.

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal

The Clintons had a busy night of celebrations after Chelsea announced she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a baby. Bill joined “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey at the Revlon Rainforest Fund Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall Thursday, joking of Spacey’s Machiavellian character, “When I was president people accused me of murder all the time, made a show of investigating. Spacey’s president for 15 minutes and he gets away with murder.” Spacey, who sang during the event with Sting, Stephen Stills and James Taylor, also showed off his Johnny Carson impression, taking a swipe at the coverage of Flight

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Friday stood by his statement regarding embattled Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, saying on KSNV’s What’s Your Point?, “If anyone thinks by any figment of their imagination that what happened up there last week was just people rallying to somebody that was oppressed, 600 people came in armed. They had practiced. They had maneuvered.” Reid continued, “They knew what they were doing. They set up snipers in strategic locations with sniper rifles. They had assault weapons. They had automatic weapons. And they boasted about the fact that they put women and children, in fact one

If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like
