Analysis: Obama´s credibility

WASHINGTON — For more than a week, the White House had been barreling toward imminent military action against Syria. But President Barack Obama’s abrupt decision to instead ask Congress for permission left him with a high-risk gamble that could devastate his credibility if no action is ultimately taken in response to a deadly chemical weapons attack that crossed his own ‘‘red line.’’ (Snip) The consequences for Obama’s turnabout could be sweeping, both at home and abroad. If Congress votes against military action, it would mark a humiliating defeat for a second-term president already fighting to stay

Giving him Politically Correct kid-glove treatment for 5 years only helped propel an incompetent person onto the world stage. Now we´ll all suffer.

Need one even bother to say "Were this George Bush........", and yet note the silence re: any criticism of Obama in these major areas, compared to VAST calls for impeachment (Biden etc.) when Bush managed a coalition of a hundred countries and passage by Congress re: Iraq. The Press should be shot!

Credibility, that´s a laugh. He has never had any credibility. Obama is a political lightweight. He is a poor leader. In fact, he is not a leader. He leads by following. The worst President in my time. He can´t make a decicon and stick to it. Old wishy washy in and out with the tide Zippy. I hope that the people that voted for him see the error of their ways.

Dear World, You wanted him, you got him.

Wanted American hegemony ended? You got it. Americans who sought to appease the world and helped elect the 0 man, also want the griping world to settle its own bloody affairs.

The case for striking Syrian dictator Assad is moot to Americans who know it will just empower al Qaeda--that al Qeada who went into Mali and took half its country killing many, when Lybia was destabilized.

Credibility my rear. Zippy ran his ignorant mouth once again, and his idea of walking the walk to back up his baseless rhetoric is the same as always: look for someone else to falsely blame to achieve political cover, aided by a disgustingly complicit Goebbels media. This is all political calculation, a squirrel to distract from Zippy´s inability to make any decision ever which benefits America, and his glaring failure of leadership and governing skills.

I may be in error here, but I don´t recall Obama ever having any credibility. All this means is that his credibility has either remained the same, or has gotten a bit worse. Is there any lower limit to credibility? If so, Obama must be heading toward it at a very high rate of speed. Will the crash be on shown on Fox, in color and surround sound?

Isn´t it strange how the so-called "Death toll" from the so-called "Gas Attack" keeps rising the more days we get from the date of the attack. The lefty media at first said nearly 3,000, then it was down to 1,300, then down to only 300. Then when inspectors arrived, they could only find a very few dead people- "Uh, yeah- we had to bury them quickly." "Where?"- Uh, we forget!"

No inspection team has ever found the mass grave or actually counted the dead- only photographs and small, close in video shots of the "dead". Don´t forget, these are the same people who were screeching and screaming over "dead" kids when one one of the supposedly demised little darlings started giggling in the back ground! Fake!

Now, in this article, the writer publishes a confident number of 1,400 dead "indluding 426 children" as if he personally counted every one of them, checking their individual identities for ages "under 18" among the dead. No certification of these numbers. The media are so accustomed to their fawning readers just accepting anything they say when the word "Øbama" is in the article they don´t need no stinking certifications!

Credibility? Our diplomatic mission was attacked in Benghazi, Lybia, our ambassador brutally murdered, others killed, and they would have killed everyone there had it not been for those who disobeyed orders to not defend, and our fearless leader does nothing. Meanwhile in Syria where there is no national interest, where we don´t know beyond a reasonable doubt who used the chemicals, and in any event, one side or the other, if we take action, we will be supporting our enemy, he wants to bring us to the brink of war, kill anyone who gets in the way, and achieve nothing.

The States of America, united, must be the ones to take decisive action to remove this embarrassment from the executive position and reclaim America´s reputation from the ash heap of history.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — The plane must be somewhere. But the same can be said for Amelia Earhart´s. Ten days after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared with 239 people aboard, an exhaustive international search has produced no sign of the Boeing 777, raising an unsettling question: What if the airplane is never found? Such an outcome, while considered unlikely by many experts, would certainly torment the families of those missing. It would also flummox the airline industry, which will struggle to learn lessons from the incident if it doesn´t know what happened. While rare nowadays, history is not short of

GENEVA - Russia signaled concern on Wednesday at Estonia´s treatment of its large ethnic Russian minority, comparing language policy in the Baltic state with what it said was a call in Ukraine to prevent the use of Russian. The southern Indian Ocean, where investigators suspect missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 may have come down, is one place where a commercial airliner can crash without a ship spotting it, a radar plotting it or even a satellite picking it up. The empty expanse of water is one of the most remote places in the world and also one of the deepest, posing potentially enormous challenges for the international search effort now refocusing on the area, one of several possible crash sites.
