Secretary of State John Kerry will appear on all five Sunday talk shows this weekend, setting up the opportunity to make President Obama´s case on Syria to the public and to members of Congress. Kerry will appear on the Sunday talk shows for NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX and CNN. The practice of sweeping the whole Sunday lineup — known as the "full Ginsburg," for Monica Lewinski attorney William Ginsburg, who was the first to accomplish the feat in 1998 — is rare, and typically occurs when significant national or international news events develop. Kerry´s appearances will allow him to elaborate
Wow. Not since Susan Rice happily told her Benghazi lies has someone cornered all 5 Sunday news shows. I wonder what the spin is going to be tomorrow. You can be sure that it will be spin and not facts.
Perhaps he will tell us about a new videomaker, soon to be imprisoned, whose fault this all is. The continuing stream of BS, that has come from this administration since they first came to power, shows the utter disdain that Hussein and his henchmen have for the American people, a decreasing number of whom are still confident in the character, integrity and intent of those who cavalierly spy on us and force the unwanted "UNaffordable" Patient Care Act down our throats "for our own good" while they exempt themselves from it.
Gee, I hope they give him a proper introduction - Please welcome Monsieur Jon Fraud Gigilo Goodhair Metrosexual, Not-so-Swift-Boat, Medal-Tossing, Flip-Flopping, Self-Absorbed Kerry, a Politically Correct Easter Island model (with Churchill Downs syndrome) who is currently living off his second wife´s first husband´s fortune. He´s here today to give us a history lesson about the Middle East and some tips on how to have fabulous hair at 70. Later he´ll talk about how Bare Minerals helped his complexion
Five shows? Ah, it must be time for the administration´s ´´latest assessment´´.
Liars love words like ´´assessment´´. It is not bound to any facts or truth. Assessments are infinitely flexible and can be reassessed at any time. Just ask Susan Rice.
I knew she was full of it the minute she uttered the word ´´assessment´´ and repeated it on all five shows. They think we are so-o-o stoopid... And I guess enough of us are these days for them to retain power.

I wonder ... and would be really super happy ... if any of the Sunday hosts or hostettes would dare to actually ASK him anything. I´d specifically like to know where and from whom, specifically, he got this information that ´we´ are relying on.
But I already know the answer, thanks to Andy McCarthy.
Posters have said it all. I´ll be watching football, golf and other important things. Wasn´t Jon Cary in Indo China or somewhere else at one time wearing band aids and more medals than a Russian general. Could have been someone else.
Heard Kerry´s spiel on FNS and MTP. Hesitant and danced around when pressed. A poor presentation. Then there is the substance: since when is it upon the US to unilaterally enforce international "norms"? As to the decline in America´s credibility: that was quickly reversed when Reagan was sworn in as the Carter´s Iran hostages were simultaneously getting off the plane into freedom. That indelible split-screen image emphatically answered that. America´s "reversal" can be quickly reversed back once a real President has been sworn in.
Rand Paul followed on on MTP. His thinking is like mine. He was more worried about what would happen next v-v retaliation and refugees (and destabilization) in Jordan than about backing up the Emperor´s bluster. The Emperor´s "credibility" is not America´s credibility, and it is certainly not worth a wider war.
If Barack had any credibility with Vladimir, they could work out an arrangement where Putin would guarantee that Assad would not use these weapons again (if he was actually responsible in this case) - or Russia would see to it that Bashar would be gone. This fiasco is a result of credibility already lost.
Bravo #19, UNO, for name calling this big headed wierd looking person who finally FINALLY has his serio comic moment, knowing nothing, and because of it, knowing he risks looking even more stupid than Susan Rice, or whatever her name was. He has been waiting for this one moment when he can LOOK important, all his fraudulent life. Whatever he says will be brought back and slopped all over him by the uncertified imposter betraying little king. His large stupifying look and ungainly speech reminds of algore.
Gloria Borger on CNN hammered Kerry . Kerry was as muddled and befuddled as Obama and Borger was mystified at his illogical and contradictory explanations for Obama´s illogical and contradictory behavior. She could not get a sensible answer from Kerry who came off like a combo of Professor Irwin Corey and Yogi Berra. Hillary must be so glad she´s not the one left holding Obama´s bag while he scurries off with Reggie to the golf course.
Perhaps lurch will share his service with hanoi jane and lil´ j0n-j0n mc-cain to Uncle Ho. He could recreate his medal tossing skills. He has an tossing arm as girlish as the le curtsying bath house blo queen Ø´Blamer the ever innocent. Hanoi jane was so cute sitting on that Chi-Kom AA barrel with all it´s medals and that neat North Vietnamese army Uniform that we would "love" to see a Kodak of the two comrades straddling the same barrel.
In a twisted progressive way Hoss is the right person in the right place at the right time.
He rose to prominence in large part by usurping and squandering the fortune of one Republican and here he is again, squandering the legacy of another. GWB taught the muzzies to fear the righteous wrath of the civilized world and Kerry et al are destroying that investment of blood and treasure. Just like VN all over again.
Saw Kerry speak on Friday. It looked like a high school play. Bad presentation. Forced anger. BUT, he was doing as he was told. Several hours later, Obama retreats. NEVER THOUGHT I´D WRITE: I feel a little sorry for Kerry. He´s a blowhard lib, but I believe he is an American.
All L dotters have topped themselves, and a giant salute to POSTAWAY Reply 40 -above quoting Phyllis Diller, "he´s had so many facelifts his sideburns are now growing behind his ears. And it looks like he can only open one of his eyes." Worse, his facial motions are almost as frozen and distorted as the no longer funny Joan Rivers! He´s the perfect pathetic fraudster to speak for the unlicensed imposter!
Almost painful to watch Kerry fall on his sword and attempt to look like a bigger fool than Obama. If he had any dignity he would quit. Even more painful to listen to the usual McCain blather. He ´suggests´ that the latest ploy of the boy king to try to take Congress down with him to provide butt covering ´might´ be ´political´. Gee, ya think?
I guess Obama thinks that killing 99,000 in Syria is no big deal, but somehow, gassing 1000 is unacceptable. If he hadn´t run off his mouth about a red line, we wouldn´t be even talking about it. Now he wants Congress to step up to the plate and stand behind his red line bluster. More Barry maneuvering. ´Twas ever thus with this character.
#29, As many here know, a five show Sunday is called a ´´Full Ginsberg.´´
NASA’s steady reconnaissance of Mars with the Curiosity rover has produced another major discovery: evidence of an ancient lake — with water that could plausibly be described as drinkable — that was part of a long-standing, wet environment that could have supported simple forms of life. Scientists have known that the young Mars was more Earthlike than the desert planet we see today, but this is the best evidence yet that Mars had swimming holes that stuck around for thousands or perhaps millions of years. (It would have been very chilly — bring a wet suit.) The findings were being
JOHANNESBURG — President Obama, his predecessor, and the woman who might be his successor crossed the Atlantic together Monday in an example of extended bipartisan togetherness to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela at a memorial service Tuesday. For more than 16 hours, Mr. Obama hosted former President George W. Bush and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton aboard Air Force One — part of a global pilgrimage that is expected to bring as many as 100 world leaders to South Africa. (Snip) On board the presidential aircraft as it flew to South Africa, White House aides said Mr. Obama
Today Politico´s Dylan Byers got tough on MSNBC with two posts calling into question the channel´s journalistic credibility. Byers started the day by going after MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry for something she said over the weekend. Harris-Perry claimed Sunday that the term Obamacare was an attempt by white people to denigrate a black President. Byers pointed out that "Hillarycare" and "Reaganomics" seem like similar appellations and asked, in light of these, how "Obamacare" could be implicitly racist while the other terms are not. It´s not clear whether Harris-Perry responded to Byers´ challenge privately but she did not tweet (or anything
World leaders have gathered in Johannesburg to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela at a memorial service for the former president of South Africa, five days after he died at the age of 95. Barack Obama was pictured arriving after a 17-hour flight from Washington on board Air Force One, during which he rode with his wife Michelle, former President George W. Bush, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton. He has been given a prominent role in the memorial service for former South African president Nelson Mandela - but may face awkward moments if he comes face to face with controversial leaders
Jim Murray, an English writer and one of the world’s top whiskey critics, believes Scottish malt is no match for American whiskey. “Generally speaking, bourbon … has overtaken Scotch,” he said, according to the Telegraph. Mr. Murray, who wrote “Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible,” argues that Scotland’s decrease in quality whiskey is due to the use of sulphur candles to sanitize some barrels that have been used to age sherry, giving it a “bitter finish.” Bourbon, however, is aged in virgin oak casks, which do not require sulphur treatment, the Telegraph said. “The best whiskey is coming not from Scotland any
Brothers Tryon, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, were formally charged Monday in the shooting death of Sergent First Class Jim Vester, 32, after arranging to sell the 12-year military veteran an iPad on Wednesday. According to phone records released by the police, the Indianapolis father wanted to buy an iPad from the brothers as a Christmas present for his parents based off of their Craigslist ad. At 3:05pm, Vester texted: ´Can I get your address´. At 3:14pm, the suspects texted him to meet at 920 Wyckford Dr. Vester arrived at the address at 3:49pm and texted: ´are you here?´ and the
Andrea Elliott, in her NY Times article "Invisible Child," articulates the disheartening existence of a family living on the meager support of government welfare. She invites her readers to look through the eyes of Dasani, the family´s 11-year-old girl. The family has a complex relationship with the welfare programs that both keep them afloat and keep their situation hopeless. Liberals advocate that welfare programs are designed to help the least fortunate and that they demonstrate a society’s compassion. However, sometimes too much compassion by the state can devolve into what recovering drug addicts would call "enabling." Moreover, the "compassionate environment"
MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry evidently exists to say ridiculous things. The same radical who declared that all children belong to the state said Sunday that “Obamacare” is the new “n-word.” (Video) “Good morning, I’m Melissa Harris-Perry. I want to talk today about a controversial word,” the Tulane professor began Sunday’s show. “It’s a word that has been with us for years. And like it or not, it’s indelibly printed in the pages of American history. A word that was originally intended as a derogatory term, meant to shame, and divide, and demean. The word was conceived of by a group of
The world´s leading technology companies have united to demand sweeping changes to US surveillance laws, urging an international ban on bulk collection of data to help preserve the public´s “trust in the internet”. In their most concerted response yet to disclosures by the National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Twitter and AOL have published an open letter to Barack Obama and Congress on Monday, throwing their weight behind radical reforms already proposed by Washington politicians. “The balance in many countries has tipped too far in favour of the state and away from the rights of
Rep. Steve Stockman, a conservative firebrand who has been dogged by ethical questions and campaign debt, withdrew as a candidate for re-election Monday and instead filed as a Republican challenger to U.S. Sen. John Cornyn. The filing gives Cornyn the Tea Party challenge in the Texas Republican primary that he long sought to avoid in a state where the GOP electorate has moved increasingly to the right. Stockman has prided himself on being one of the most conservative members of Congress. Soon after arriving, he refused to suport Rep. John Boehner for Speaker of the House, voting only “present.” He
Power Abuse: Emboldened by its shakedown of mortgage lenders, the administration is now accusing car lenders of racism. On what grounds? It refuses to say, raising suspicion of another witch hunt. Some of the nation´s largest auto lenders, including Ally Bank, are now under federal investigation for allegedly discriminating against black and Latino borrowers — a deplorable crime, if true. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is heading the new crusade with help from the Justice Department. It claims it has "statistical evidence" showing car lenders and dealers marking up loan prices for minorities vs. whites.
DETROIT- The U.S. government ended up losing $10.5 billion on the General Motors bailout, but it says the alternative would have been far worse. The Treasury Department sold its final shares of the Detroit auto giant on Monday, recovering $39 billion of the $49.5 billion it spent to save the dying automaker at the height of the financial crisis five years ago. Without the bailout, the country would have lost more than a million jobs, and the economy could have slipped from recession into a depression, Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew said on a conference call with reporters. Now, the American
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
Just how much do many Hollywood liberals hate conservatives? In an interview with Playboy, Ben Affleck said, "When I watch a guy [on film] I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him": PLAYBOY: You developed a political profile campaigning for presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama. How did that come about? AFFLECK: I grew up in a house with a mother who was a teacher and a Freedom Rider—very left-wing Democrats living in a heterogeneous working-class neighborhood. I picked up a lot of those values there, and I
The U.S. isn´t called "America the Beautiful" for nothing. Each year, millions of tourists come from home and abroad to see the country´s majestic landscape and iconic sites, from the Grand Canyon to the Statue of Liberty. But there are also cool, quirky attractions, like Vermont´s Ben & Jerry´s Factory and Tennessee´s Graceland, the former home of Rock and Roll King Elvis Presley. From California to New York and everywhere in between, the country is chock-full of incredible attractions that keep luring in visitors. Here are the best tourist attractions in every state.
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry opened her program over the weekend with a commentary about the Affordable Care Act’s colloquial moniker: “Obamacare.” She said that the word was originally created as a “derogatory term,” designed by white men as a way to delegitimize President Barack Obama and his achievement. However, she said that the term will soon be synonymous with all of Obama’s accomplishments and she urged her audience to use the term with pride. “I want to talk today about a controversial word. It’s a word that has been with us for years, and like it or not, it’s indelibly
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a last minute decision not to participate in a memorial service for the late South African President Nelson Mandela, despite having notified the South African government that he would attend the event. The decision was made in light of the high transportation costs resulting from the short notice of the trip and the security required for the prime minister in Johannesburg. The Prime Minister’s Office found that the trip would have cost roughly 7 million shekels ($2.4 million) – 2.8 million shekels for chartering a private El Al plane and a further 3.2 million shekels for
President Obama, former president George W. Bush and their wives departed Washington Monday morning on Air Force One on their way to a memorial service in South Africa for Nelson Mandela. The president and first lady Michelle Obama are being accompanied by Mr. Bush, former first lady Laura Bush and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on the flight to Johannesburg. A four-hour memorial service will be held on Tuesday for South Africa’s first black president. Mr. Mandela, the anti-apartheid revolutionary, died on Thursday at age 95. Former President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea are traveling separately to South Africa. Former President
President Obama will make remarks on Nelson Mandela´s legacy during a memorial service Tuesday for the late South African freedom fighter, officials said Monday. "We do expect President Obama to speak as part of the program," said Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. The president and first lady Michelle Obama departed Monday for Johannesburg, where a Mandela memorial service will be held in a soccer stadium. Obama, who will also spend time with the Mandela family, is not scheduled to hold any bilateral meetings with foreign leaders while in South Africa, Rhodes said. Rhodes also said the
All three networks on Monday morning highlighted the appearance of the Obamas at the Kennedy Center Honors, but only ABC fawned over "fashion win" of First Lady. Lara Spencer enthused that " one of the stars of the show was Michelle Obama." An excited Spencer explained that Mrs. Obama looked "absolutely ravishing in a flowing teal gown as she accompanied President Obama." The co-host declared, "Another big fashion win for the First Lady. CBS This Morning offered a full report on the various performers who were honored, but co-anchor Charlie Rose avoided ABC´s superlatives.
