WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama released a video message congratulating American Muslims on the many achievements and contributions they have made to American society from its early history to present day. The video, which will be aired today at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) annual convention, highlights the myriad of ways the American Muslim community, and specifically ISNA leadership, has served as an effective partner in promoting inter-religious initiatives in the U.S. and religious freedom for minorities around the world. DC Mayor Vincent E. Gray, one of the convention´s keynote speakers, also recognized the significance of the American Muslim experience

"Congratulations Muslims......We begin bombing in five minutes..."

Let me count the contributions to America: Barbary Pirates, both World Trade Center attacks, Ft. Hood massacre, Boston Massacre, numerous mosques and their radical imams, and the list goes on. Undoubtedly our Dear Leader looks upon these as good things.

I´ll go along with the fact that many Muslims have contributed something, but in every case it is on an individual basis. There are good Muslim doctors, for instance, who have probably cured a lot of non-Muslim patients, probably good Muslim brokers who have made money for non-Muslim clients, etc. but individuality is as far as it goes. As a whole Muslims contribute nothing to any civilization.

Yes. but what have they done for you lately (besides the obvious)?

Their´s is a retrograde society which needs to be marginalized (with extreme prejudice, as they say).

I´m tired of the propping up of so-called minority groups. Let´s face it, they´re not compatible with Western society.

On a personal note, after seeing a number of Muslim "women" wearing scarves sans veils, I suggest they start wearing veils, or at least start shaving.

I am tired of the "muslim congratulations" that are always coming out of the WH. I have an image of obama sitting at a desk with a calendar that shows all the muslim high holy days and celebrations. obama is sitting there with a yellow highlighter circling all those important dates and jotting down his personal comments. Our country has real important and dangerous issues that need to be addressed and this inept joker is golfing and making muslim proclamations.

A Muslim congratulating other Muslims, what’s so unusual about that?

And about that “there is no God but Allah” ring Obama always wears. The MSM, forced to pay attention to this, brought in some obscure “expert” or other to certify that #1—(since no one dared to ask Obama to let them have a close look at the ring)just judging from blurry, blown up pictures of it on his hand, you couldn’t really decipher what was written on the ring, #2 in any case, even though such gold rings with an inscription praising Allah are sold in the nations of the Umma, what was written on the ring couldn’t possibly be/definitely wasn’t “there is no God but Allah,” and #3 we were all disgraceful Islamophobes/racists/hateful, low I.Q., knuckle-dragging, gap-toothed sub-humans--cue the Banjos--for even asking the question.

I just happen to think that Muslim Obama loves to hide the truth in plain sight and takes great delight in rubbing everyone’s nose in it by, among other things, issuing wildly effusive Presidential statements, acknowledgements and praise for every supposed Muslim “accomplishment” and “contribution” to America, and for every Muslim religious celebration—no matter how obscure—while ignoring and not acknowledging or slighting the main Christian celebrations like Easter.

Muslims have done more to retard the advance of knowledge and civilization than any other group. Thousands of libraries and monastaries were destroyed, with the accumulated knowledge of mankind, and the wisdom of centuries lost to us. Everyone who has investigated "muslim" contributions has found that they were made by people living under Muslim domination, from the prior culture, most notably Jews. Muslims conquer other people, then take whatever accomplishments remain, and claim them as their own. Name one contribution Muslims have made to American society, Hussein. They contributed to early American history by their piracy and slavery of Americans, getting us engaged in the world.

Reply 5, Obama claims that Muslims contributed to American society since earliest times. I would hazard a guess that there was no one single Muslim in Plymouth in the 1600´s or in all the colonies during the Revolution. I want Obama to give us one historical fact of any Muslim contribution during our early years. As someone has already noted, there was the contact on "the shores of Tripoli" to put an end to the Barbary Pirates.

The Muslims who are now here do not fit well into our society. They never will. There is no way to westernize them. They will not permit it.

Obama congratulates Muslims and condemns Christians and all that we believe in, even though it has been the standard for America from the onset.

Obama is not a speaker of the people, only his own personal agenda. Muslim faith is more important to him than the faith of our fathers in this country that gave him the honor of being President of US, not just his own personal agenda!

Pray for America! We need to make a stand for righteousness that only comes from Jesus, Our Lord, once held as our only Savior. Obama has not fulfilled his role as promised by the media and his personal followers.

Pray for America! We need to challenge all godlessness that permeates today - abortion (denying life to those unwanted), gay rights/marriage (denying God´s role in marriage, not honoring His blessings to those who procreate, proving His involvement in the human race to one day bridge the gap, preparing a place in His eternal Kingdom without end, filled with His Love/Grace, no more subjected to the world´s condemnation for Satan is still reigning here in the heart/minds/souls/spirits of those defying God´s authority! Amen

There will be no amount of virgins for anyone in Heaven. So says the Lord God!

There is one reason and only one reason why NO ONE has criticized BO for his muslim faith and/or sympathies (the media and his enemies) is that they will be immediately labled racist.

Which apparently, now, is worse than being labeled a Nazi. BO has tossed racial relations back pre-Civil War and elevated muslim barbarity to untold heights of respect.

He is truly a disgusting human being and should never been elected to any office at any level.

Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
