First Lady freshens up her
look with face-framing caramel
highlights after growing out
her ´mid-life crisis´ bangs

Daily Mail (UK), by Margot Peppers

After recently growing out her much buzzed-about bangs, Michelle Obama has debuted a new hair update: caramel colored highlights. The First Lady showed off her brand new look yesterday while speaking at a film screening in Washington, DC. The new face-framing ´do is significantly less drastic and more flattering than the blunt bangs she had cut in January, which she admitted were ´irritating´ after a while.Placed mostly around the edges of her face, the highlights are subtle and warm, in a soft honey color. Reactions to the style have been mostly positive,

"she admitted were ´irritating´ after a while."

Nothing compared to the agony we have been in watching her and her husband´s antics.

Look, I don´t like Michelle Obama´s politics, and I really don´t like her spending...but I do think she deserves credit for improving her look and her fashion sense over the years.

No matter how disgusted any American might be with the way the President and First Lady fulfill their offices and responsibilities, we still prefer that they present a decent appearance to foreign dignitaries while abroad.

From her picture, she may need a little Botox too. She is beginning to show her age. She is trying to emulate Kerry Washington who the President admires. Isn´t going to work. Kerry is 35; Michelle is 49. It shows. Hillary dyes her hair too. It started out a mousy brown; then, she dyed it to match Jennifer Flowers. It is probably gray by now.

I think the carmel (it´s caramel) highlights look terrible, like one of her daughters got ahold of a highlight kit. I have blond highlights which i pay a small fortune for 3 or 4 times a year but they look great. Mooches, not so much.

Always changing her hairstyle, and wearing too tight clothes. Those huge blood red flowers on the black dress were a nightmare.
If she continues to insist on showing bare arms, I suggest she start having her armpits waxed.

The old saying that you can´t make a silk purse out of a sow´s ear is personified in the mean and nasty woman FLOTUS. As for freshening her face with caramel highlights in her hair...puleeze...no more. It doesn´t matter what she does with her hair/wigs or what highlights she chooses, she´s a classless and homely woman who inflicts her bad taste on a nation and expects to be praised. As for freshening up,here´s a tip Mooch: convince Barry Soetero to resign and depart with him and the surly girlies on the same plane headed for Chicago. Take a quick shower when after you land.

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service and other federal agencies awarded about $415,000 in contracts to a license plate-tracking company before Homeland Security leaders dropped a plan for similar work amid privacy complaints. Federal offices such as the Forest Service and the U.S. Air Force´s Air Combat Command chose Livermore, Calif.-based Vigilant Solutions to provide access to license plate databases or tools used to collect plate information, according to government procurement records compiled by Bloomberg. Vigilant, a closely held company, has received such work since 2009. In February, Jeh Johnson, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security

WASHINGTON— A Western official says the United States is considering deploying about 150 soldiers for military exercises to begin in Poland and Estonia in the next few weeks. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
