John Kerry: Freedom
Makes It Hard to Govern

American Thinker, by Todd Konrad

Original Article

Speaking before a group of State Department workers last week, Secretary of State John Kerry gave voice to the frustration authoritarians experience because of the easy access to information on the internet. Secretary Kerry told the audience that the world had been "complicated" by "... this little thing called the internet and the ability of people everywhere to communicate instantaneously and to have more information coming at them in one day than most people can process in months or a year." This pesky internet, Kerry says, "makes it much harder to govern, makes it much harder to organize people, much harder

Not necessarily so! Depends on who you want to organize - and for what purpose.

I recall back during the Clinton administration - internet wasn´t half as useful as it is now - there were pretty good protests organized in favor of impeachment. I was at a few of them!

In fact, when the first group appeared in WDC at the WH - the police approached and asked if they were the "internet protest."

What he really meant was, Freedom makes it hard to Rule!

Who was it that said the Mulatto Marxist would be ready to RULE on day one?

He rules by fiat. The RINOs don´t see any need to challenge him or put a stop to it, so Freedom obviously isn´t an obstacle for him. Not when you have a willing Congress --with the exception of a handful of Patriots.

Typical sloppy thinking of a leftist.

The "Rule of Law" places many important restraints on government not "Freedom".

In fact, freedom makes governing easier because the government is not required to make every little decision for everyone everyday.

Freedom for the people also frees the government from a zillion problems that totalitarian regimes struggle with and fail at.
