The Obama Regime
National Review Online, by Deroy Murdock

Slowly at first, then all of a sudden, the Obama administration has devolved into the Obama regime. Obama does whatever he wants. Those pesky impediments on his predecessors — namely, federal law, the separation of powers, and the Constitution — have proved as tough as tissue paper in containing Obama’s ambition to impose statism on America. From Obamacare to unions to telephones, it’s basically another day, another decree. “I have to figure out what I can do outside of Congress through executive actions,” Obama reportedly told the Congressional Black Caucus last month. In Jacksonville on July 25, Obama announced, “Where I

This bugger will be gone in 2017 (!). There will be Constitutional restrictions imposed upon the presidency arising from the serial teacheries committed by the shameless swine.
It´s a pity they won´t be retroactive.

I am a proponent of the peaceful transfer of power and the democratic process of honest debate resulting in the refinement of governmental polity leading to cogent policy decisions serving the legitimate interests of the citizens involved.

But......some crazy red-neck out there in flyover country may not be as patient and mature and reserved as old farts like me.

In fairness, when the executive branch gloms on to more and more power....some degree of ´Push-Back´ is to be expected.....no ?

One of the dirtiest secrets of the Left is how they all love, and long for, dictators. A few years ago when Woody Allen said he wished Obama could dictate, he wasn´t joking - he was letting the cat out of the bag. As long as a dictator professes the Marxist "for the people" ideology that punishes (prison or death or taxes) achievers, the Left absolutely and always swoons like little girls in heat. Dictators symbolize pure, unopposed power to "change the world" and force it to kneel before their Socialist Utopia. That´s why the Left always opposes the US Constitution (see: Obama, Barack; bypassing the law at whim) - freedom to decide one´s own fate gets in the way of Dear Leader forcing you "Forward".

I´ve never for an instant doubted that Democrats see Obama this way. Today in their dreams, but in reality the minute they could get away with it.

Evil is as evil does. The masks are off and Satan´s influence is shining through for all who have eyes to see. Unfortunately those eyes have quickly become the minority! It way past time to stand up and fight this evil in His name.

You really have to laugh at the methods Obama, his supporters and media uses. They go through the trouble to set up a rigged interview with Chrs Cuomo, not to answer pressing quections but the pass the buck of all the problems to Rush Limbaugh.

In these people´s world they would get to run the table on communism if they could get Rush out of the way.Alinski must be appluading from his grave.

Obama supporters really believed the hype about him being magical who would melt away all the world´s problems. These people´s inability to comprehend reality, really takes the cake. No matter how much evidence you present that Obama´s a faiure, they refuse to believe it.

For one thing these people think that money is the answer to everything and if Obama could spend what he wanted,it would fix things.Things that are broke at the scientific level can´t be fixed with money.Money sure hasn´t fixed poverty.

Indeed it´s a regime. Our very own Hugo Chavez. Making it up as he goes. Not caring one bit about trivial things like the constitution, branches of government. And like Chavez, the takers love him. Compare him to Jesus. Don´t care about his lies and living large.

Somebody needs to remind him, and his followers, of other regimes that didn´t end well after the shafted had had enough of the shafting.

Oval Office
Presidential Address

My fellow Americans,

Except for those who believe their lying eyes, Republicans continue to sabotage our economy in order to make me look bl—uh, bad.

Or, if it serves your world view better, they are self-styled patriots determined to slow America’s steady march toward economic ruin and international irrelevance. Whatever. Twice I’ve sworn an oath to preserve, protect, and defend my right to interpret the Constitution as I see fit, and I intend to keep that promise.

My allegiance to the Founders’ vision for America is trumped only by my conviction that they got it all wrong. One way or another, I will drag America into a post-Constitutional era in which the rule of law guarantees not just equality of opportunity but equality of outcome, inshallah.

More than ever, I need a legislature I can completely ignore. Unfortunately, midterms are over a year away, a year likely to be marked by only limited progress in chipping away at your rights because of Congressional obstructionism.

The time to act is now. As America’s premier Constitutional scholar, I am tonight modeling our cousins across the pond and declaring a vote of ´´no confidence´´ in Congress. Also, by the powers invested in me by me, I order its immediate dissolution. To Justice Scalia I say, how many divisions do you have? Stay out of this if you know what’s good for you.

Elections will take place in November, 2014 for the 113th Congress. To streamline that body and eliminate gridlock, legislators will be chosen only from west and east coast states, along with representative interior urban centers, such as Chicago, Madison, and Detroit.

My new Civilian National Security Force, led by Reverend General Louis Farrakhan, will monitor the vote.

Good night, and peace be upon you.

[to someone off camera]

What? Oh. I mean, may God help America.

A big reason Obama gets away with so much is the totally timid ineffectual cowards in the opposition party. The danger is they will loose the house in 2014 and give Obama two more years to hammer home his full agenda the complete destruction of everything with congressional co-operation to make it legal ! Then at least he will have the legacy he has been looking for.

Obama Gone Ape!

Then what? Going topless? Flashing himself while tossing strings of colorful beads from a second-story balcony to his worshipful, adoring groupies on the street below? He’s made the transition from president to dictator to maniacal, raving, power-crazed lunatic. It’s way past time that he be shown the door. He’s had five years to fundamentally transform (screw-up) the executive, legislative and judicial branches of what was once a government of, by and for the people.

It would be great to stop him before 2016. He is off the chain, flaunting his mainlining executive orders/fiat. Obama: "What would I need a lawyer´s approval for to delay the employer mandate?". Every day he surprises us with yet something else he has done to screw us all over. The UnACA wasn´t so much about about him caring about healthcare for Americans as it was absolute control. The sheer breadth/size/scope of the 2600 page debacle speaks for itself. The details of which are emerging to stoke a new outrage every other day. Now there´s talk of a new Obama police force to go around micro-managing everyone to be signed up for healthcare like something right out of Nazi Germany. There is a good chance he is being a dictator to us/US for revenge for his perceived American Colonialism in the Middle East, etc over time and installing rulers he didn´t like. It is absolutely amazing the way most Republicans just take a back seat to his lawlessness and no talk of actually doing anything about it. It´s time for civil disobedience at the minimum. Forget his supporters: they are dead weight, brainwashed, useless. Kill their buffalo-shut off the money machine.

I am beginning to see some parallels between the US and Egypt. In Egypt, Morsi got in power through democratic election. But, after gaining power, Morsi became autocratic and subverted or ignored the the Egyptian constitution. He was well on the way to destroying the democracy that allowed him to be elected. Although not as fast or ham-handed, Obama has been subverting or ignoring the US Constitution. He has been using executive orders to bypass Congress and countermand existing laws. Much more of this and we will not be living in a democracy.

We need another Sagman "Obama War Room" parody detailing how the daily plots against our nation are hatched. We have a group of radical lawyers determined to use every legal ruse possible to corrupt Constitutional Executive Authority. All while Congress and the Courts suck their thumbs.

Along this line, I believe this article would have been a great Must Read...

A great Must Read but a disaster for our nation.

As Politico’s Edward-Isaac Dovere explained: “The president is done caring about congressional Republicans calling him a dictator.”

The President is also "done" with obeying any law he finds obstructive of his Marxist agenda, so the GOP isn´t the only target, albeit the most handy one.

I don´t know what can be done about Valerie Jarrett´s and Obama´s and Sunstein´s and Holder´s lawlessness. Our side can hurl epithets at them until the next century and unless there is some kind of immense pushback from the People or from Congressional Democrats or the media, they will all go on doing what they´re doing.

You don´t stop a child from killing his playmates by calling the child names. You stop the child by locking him up in his room and taking away his perks. The child will break every rule he is allowed to break.

If you don´t discipline this Administration, you have an unruly, uncivilized gang and no police force to stand in its way. Does anyone seriously believe that this Administration will stop what it´s doing simply because people are calling them names? They couldn´t care less.

And I know that the Secret Service take a vow to protect him and all of that, but surely there are some in that crowd that feel the way those of us here at LCom feel. There has to be a way to get rid of this person(I won´t call him a man) and restore the type of government that was intended at the beginning. To me, it´s beyond belief that we don´t have an uprising and get rid of the corruption the DC.

The legal chaos this radical is creating will haunt our country for a long time. It´s reasonable to assume that when he leaves office (if he ever intends to) he will pardon himself and all his minions for any crimes they may have committed. So there are unlikely to be criminal prosecutions of the perpetrators of this lawlessness. But he doesn´t have the power to pardon civil wrongs so we can also expect untold numbers of lawsuits between those who benefited from illegal waivers and those who were victimized by the waivers. Any employer who does not provide Obamacare coverage in 2014 will not be allowed to rely on an illegal waiver as a defense in a lawsuit by an employee left without coverage. Lawyers (I am one!) will win in this chaotic environment. Employers, insurance companies and the economy will lose.

Come 2016 we´ll be told by the slobbering supporters that Obama has not finished his work and needs more time. Obama has shown us time and time again that he abides by laws he likes and ignores the ones he does not agree with.

Just wait and see. He has no plans to go anywhere. He plans to stay based on his own acclamation. He is needed. We must have him as president, or dictator, or whatever he wants to be called.

Or he may want four terms. He may surprise us all by calling or repeal of the 22nd amendment in time for him to run as many times as he wants.

#32, that process would take so long, and there is so little support for it, that we
are safe at least from that angle...

Remember when some people examined the prohibition against foreign-born presidents
in connection with Ahnulled Schwarzenegger?

How´s that workin´ out for ya now?

Zippy´s best plan is to start a shooting race war and then declare martial law
to try to "control" it for national security reasons... if he wants to go that route...

He could never get enough states to ratify his lawless approach to the constitution...

He views the U.S. Constitution the same way he views his personal birth certificate...
he can photoshop it, shred it, alter it, hide it, deny it, fake it, call it a "phony" scandal, anything he wants with it...
it´s only Social Justice to do things The O-Bomber Way...

And if you, sir, want him to obey the CONstitution... you are just a CON Artist...
but he´s not...
see how it works?

23 Franz comments on the similarity between Egypt and America A clear vision. Egypt democratically elects a deceptive leader who breaks laws, violating his oath to office. America democratically elects a vindictive imposter to office who starts ignoring, violating in great detail, his oath, his promise to obey the Constitution. An amazing ten million Egyptian citizens assemble in mass protest of their misbehaving leader, a record in modern history, and it is broadcast and recorded for all the world to see. With the help of the New Media It would not be a stretch for Americans to convene in mass in a number of cities all over the U.S ! The people can do this. The gutless Congress will not. The democrats want destruction, the republicans want destruction, too. So, no help from Congress or the traitorous mainextreme media. Not one, but many mass protests might even net America a serious impeachment (the Clintons impeachment, remember, was not serious). Meantime, read about a previously elected leader who got out of hand, and see the parallels: Hitler.

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this

He’s been hammered for going around Congress with executive orders. But he’s within his authority—and he should go further on voting and transparency to make government work better. With Congress paralyzed, President Obama has promised to use his “pen and phone” to overcome the ongoing dysfunction and get some work done. And the White House has already acted several times to help improve America’s economy. But such policies, no matter how valuable, will achieve little if we do not fix our broken democracy. Here is a selection of highlights from Friday’s release of documents from the Clinton presidency. The cache is part of a total of about 33,000 pages of presidential records that had been held back from various public records releases because of legal reasons exempting them from disclosure. A Clinton administration memo (page 674) shows a White House that was acutely aware of the first lady’s image problems as officials contemplated how to soften perceptions of Hillary Clinton and how to “build, energize and expand” her natural base. The GOP has been hijacked. That’s right, hijacked. Over the past 100 years, an elite progressive minority has taken the Republican Party far afield from its conservative platform and the interests and values of its grassroots conservative base. I’ll admit that, in the aftermath of the disappointments of the 2012 elections, conservatives like me are angry. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) is "hellbent" on passing amnesty legislation, and other GOP leaders are signaling to donors and lobbyists that they also want to pass legislation this Congress, even though attempting to do so would depress the GOP base and create divisions within the party ahead of 2014´s midterm elections that could give Republicans control of Congress. According to the Wall Street Journal, Boehner told donors at a Las Vegas fundraiser in March that he was "hellbent on getting this done this year." After he met with President Barack Obama at the White House in February, Boehner said that

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

Hillary Clinton´s upcoming memoir, which is expected to look back at her time as secretary of State, now has a name: Hard Choices. Which is an okay title! She no doubt had to make some tough decisions while at State, and has at least one big decision to make coming up in the next year or so. But the former Cabinet member and possible future presidential candidate may have been better served by a different title—like, say, Tough Decisions. Because Hard Choices has already been used. By another former secretary of State. In 1983, Cyrus Vance, who served as secretary of State

Regardless of how people feel about Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s standoff with the federal Bureau of Land Management over his cattle’s grazing rights, a lot of Americans were surprised to see TV images of an armed-to-the-teeth paramilitary wing of the BLM deployed around Bundy’s ranch. They shouldn’t have been. Dozens of federal agencies now have Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams to further an expanding definition of their missions. It’s not controversial that the Secret Service and the Bureau of Prisons have them. But what about the Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called supporters of rancher Cliven Bundy “domestic terrorists” Thursday, turning up the rhetorical heat on the already tense situation at the Nevada cattle operation. “Those people who hold themselves out to be patriots are not. They’re nothing more than domestic terrorists,” Mr. Reid in remarks at a luncheon, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which sponsored the event. “… I repeat: What went on up there was domestic terrorism.” The Nevada Democrat was referring to the hundreds of Bundy backers — some armed, some from out of state — who congregated at the ranch last week in

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being.
