Three teenagers were charged Tuesday in the killing of a white college student in Duncan, Oklahoma, and part of the story is what didn´t happen. There was no saturation cable TV coverage, no press conference featuring Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson, and no statement from the Oval Office. The death of Christopher Lane, while as troubling as that of Trayvon Martin, will not become a national touchstone of racial and cultural debate or reflection. But maybe it should. A 22-year-old Australian from Melbourne, Lane was attending East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, to pursue his dream of playing that American pastime,

A heinous crime by those who look like O-Bomber´s version of... "My Three Sons"

Both shootings were equally troubling? Go to hell WSJ.
Wannabe thug Martin got exactly what he deserved, and these 3 subhumans need the same.

I hope the Editorial Board of the WSJ is not holding their collective breath for the Revrunds Al and Jesse to show up and denounce this senseless killing. The Justice Brothers will show up when --and only when, the money is right. If either one of them can find a money angle, they´ll be in Duncan, Oklahoma in a split second, and probably be dragging Lawyer Crump with them.

I´m waiting to see who the first Race Hustler will be to declare that the confession was beaten out of the thug who confessed. That´s coming. Al or Jesse one will be bleating and crying tears as big as baseballs about what sad, impoverished lives these three little darlings lived, and how they never had a pair of Lebron James basketball shoes.

And Australians --bless their hearts, are focusing on the gun and not who fired the gun, and why; vowing to boycott the USA. Good. Stay the hell home behind your steel bars on your windows and steel grates on your door, where you live like prisoners in your own homes because you allowed yourselves to be disarmed by your government. Idiots.

If we had half a brain, we´d take to the streets in defense of Christopher Lane. Of course the MSM wouldn´t pick it up so we´d be wasting our time. Either that or we´d be called racists because we don´t understand where they come from.

At the very least, it´s time to ban all rap music on our kids iPads, phones and whatever else they listen to.

I just watched that intellect-deprived and disgusting Juan Williams say that this was not racially motivated like the Trayvon Martin case was. Juan is so ignorant; even Trayvon´s family lawyer said the case was not racial. However, this case with the black boys killing the innocent white baseball player was about race. Read his tweets and his comments on Facebook; he was out to kill whites, and he readily admitted doing so, and then this black murderer laughed about it.

God, how I hate these people. The liberals are in a major shutdown about this. They are saying that one of the perps is white. He looks like a mulatto to me. Race has been set back 100 years since Obumbler became president. That´s because the brothers think they can get away with murder since his election. Why haven´t we heard a word from him regarding this? Is he racist?

Also on of the kids apparently hates white people (surprise!). I don´t think the target was as random as they say.

If Obama had a son, he wouldn´t much look like a white baseball player from down under. So the hell with him. Too bad, so sad, turn the page. Our president and DOJ will be unmoved, except perhaps to contemplate what more could be done to prevent the coming tragedy of the lives of three young black men being ruined. But justice for Chris? Open season on white kids jogging? Forget about it - to our rulers he was not one of "my people." But not to worry - the nation of cowards too afraid to speak about what´s real will not dare to make that much a fuss about it. They are afraid someone might call them racist.

What we do is pay attention to what is going on all around the world not just in our country as you seem to do. I´ve visited America 4 times now on holidays and am booked to come again in March 2014. We are certainly not idiots who have never left our country or don´t even have passports.

Christopher Lane. If not a son, Mr. President, at least a brother?

How many decent, responsible, young American men were using guns at shooting ranges, or target practice, on the afternoon when these three became bored and used a gun to kill Chris Lane? The gun was only as deadly as the intent of the heart of these young men.

The car could just as easily have been the deadly instrument that they used to carry out their intentions. They wanted to kill ´for the fun of it´. They killed.

It is obvious to anyone with a modicum of common sense that something far deeper than what was used as the instrument of death needs to be addressed here. Gun control is not the answer. Since when did young people in our country consider murder as a fun way to relieve boredom?

The United States of America is a mission field in need of the Word of God.

#19. I just read an article about Jamie Edward´s mom being in the Oklahoma prison system.

It is really sad that some of our kids are getting the short end of the stick. Family life consists of drugs, guns, violence and sex. They live what they´ve been taught.

This can happen to any family. Evil doesn´t come in colors. People are finding excuses why they don´t have to be personally responsible anymore. Again, our kids are getting the short end of the deal.

My prayers and deepest condolences goes out to the Christopher Lane family. This was an act committed by the dregs of our society. The United States for the most part is filled with good and kind people. However, there is evil in this country and it is being fed a diet of hate and entitlement by our President and his party. The President had a great opportunity to breach the divide in race relations in this country, but he has done nothing but widen the gap -- purposefully...for political gain. This will be said to be an anomaly. It is not. It is indicative of the racist mindset in the black community and is never addressed by the President or his lapdog media.

This line was hard to read. If a person gets shot in the middle of a bank robbery, do you say that the robber never had any intention of shooting anyone and that he was just there for the money?

No analysis of what the teens listened to that might have influenced them, that is, rap music. Conservative talk radio is always considered to be provocative when a white man commits a crime but rap music, with lyrics not fit to print, is never mentioned by the MSM, when young black men are the suspects.

Trayvon was acting suspiciously; this kid was simply exercising. Zimmerman was alone and performing a neighborhood service. This was, in effect, a gang. etc. etc. This was a horrific act and something like this happens all the time in, e.g., Chicago. And you can´t blame the ´gun culture´, Kirsten Powers. Kids without guns (on buses, e.g.) will punch and kick you until your bones are broken.

FTA: while as troubling as that of Trayvon Martin. No, the death of Trayvon was to be expected - he was living a thug-like life, couldn´t handle high school, thrown out by his mother (the now saintly Mrs. Martin), etc.

Quite frankly - I do not care one whit about the "black family" in America. True, evil comes in all colors but there seems to be a preponderance in the black community, especially against their own. Highest crime rates, highest abortion rates, highest school drop out rates, etc - don´t care at all - just hate that my tax dollars are wasted supporting these lifestyles.

The author´s general point is fine, but he is clueless and miles behind the story when he says, "There is no evidence so far of a racial motive." There is extensive evidence of such a motive on two of the thugs´ social media, showing them to be into the black "gangsta rap" culture. See, e.g., "Media Moves from Racial Double Standard to Craven Complicity," on splashingrocks.blogspot.com.

How can there be any doubt that this was a racist act of murder? Why do people not admit what is staring them in the face? Obama has and continues to cause a racial rift that may never be repaired. I was there during the civil rights movement in the 60´s. All forward strides are being undone.

We may not be able to stifle the lyrics of the rappers who glorify this sort of violence because of first amendment rights (although prohibitions about yelling fire in a crowded theater comes to mind) but we can target companies such as Time Warner who make money selling the stuff to our kids.

The smart ones have figured out how to game the system for power and profit. The dumb ones are just cannon fodder. Fortunately the pilot survived. The perp was never caught, at least not for this shooting. We are in a race war.

Of course it was fun.
They won´t do any jail time.
After all, they are protected.
A coalition will hire some Johnny Cochran lawyer who will plead with the court that they are disadvantaged, did not know any better, and do not deserve punishment.
And they will, upon release, go out and kill again.

It is just the black man getting revenge on whitey.

They will be given some sort of medal by Ø at a special Rose Garden ceremony.

Seeking the appropriate punishment, the death penalty, will bankrupt Oklahoma, so they will seek a lesser punishment. Remember: liberals love death: the death of unborn babies and the death of whites (especially white cops, though Australian athletes are just as good).

I wonder if this will ever come to trial?

To believe the two are equally troubling, you would have to believe that George Zimmerman enjoys killing black people for sport.

"Boredom" had nothing to do with this. It was an audition for membership in the Crips.

It´s exasperating to know just how stupid the leftist media are - - while at the same time seeing how pompous and self-congratulating they still are.

And earlier poster wrote - - "God how I hate these people." I´ll second that -- and pray fervently for the day in the near future when they all go out of business.

btw. It´s the first murder in this town in over five years.

Quiet town. Courteous, hard working people. Mostly conservative, mostly republicans. They love and respect Veterans, too.

This kind of thing is frowned upon in the plantation community. After all these poor misguided youth were simply trying to make a name for themselves in the hood and on Facebook. If they only would have had midnight basketball, this unfortunate mistake never would have happened. After all they still have not banned guns, so that´s where the real problem is. Those mean crazy guns. How racist are they!? From now on we can blame guns for all murders, killings, and black on white hate crimes and silverware on fat people.

As to Luna´s "race," the mother looks "white," but I´m guessing that there is some Choctaw or Chickasaw or Creek in the son´s background somewhere, and if that´s so, there is a good possibility that there is Negro mixed with that Indian blood. It´s a fairly common occurrence in that part of the country. I was actually a resident of Oklahoma [Ardmore area] for a number of years, and you get to where you can identify certain facial features. That´s not meant to be "racist" by any means, but I´m sure some will take it wrong.

Don´t let your friends compare this to Trayvon´s killing. I had somebody try to tell me that the cases were both tragic & similar. I told him that he was just repeating the PC media line that Trayvon was a tragedy. I reminded him of that old saying, "Your right to take a swing at me ends at the tip of my nose." Trayvon was an attacker & it was not a tragedy. No - this case is more similar to the James Byrd case. He was a black man out walking when three white men came up behind him in a truck & dragged him behind it to his death. And they didn´t use a gun - the truck was the murder weapon.

Just ahead of a possible Hillary run for the presidency, the Clinton Library released a new load of documents from President Bill Clinton’s years in the White House. One of those documents attempts to explain Hillary´s "vast right-wing conspiracy" claim in which the Clinton administration accused Republican staffers of colluding with "extremists" on the Internet to hurt the Clintons. On January 27, 1998, Hillary Clinton appeared on NBC´s Today Show. During her interview with Matt Lauer, she claimed that a "vast right-wing conspiracy" had been trying to destroy her husband "since the day he announced for president." That interview drew

As the nation awaits Hillary Clinton´s decision of whether or not she will run for president in 2016, a cache of 7,500 pages of newly released documents from Bill Clinton´s years in the White House show some familiar political themes. One revelation is that Bill Clinton worried that a massive new healthcare scheme would cause Americans to lose their insurance. In 1993, the President allowed his wife, first lady Hillary Clinton, to become the face of an Obamacare-like takeover of the nation´s healthcare system. The plan was sarcastically dubbed Hillarycare. But as these internal documents show, in what is now a

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

WASHINGTON AND NEW YORK - In September 2001, as the U.S. reeled from the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Vladimir Putin supported Washington´s imminent invasion of Afghanistan in ways that would have been inconceivable during the Cold War. He agreed that U.S. planes carrying humanitarian aid could fly through Russian air space. He said the U.S. military could use airbases in former Soviet republics in Central Asia. And he ordered his generals to brief their U.S. counterparts on their own ill-fated 1980s occupation of Afghanistan. During Putin´s visit to President George W. Bush´s Texas ranch two

Could the 2016 presidential election turn into a contest between a Bush and a Clinton? Political debate in America last week revolved around whether or not Jeb Bush, Florida´s former governor who is son or brother to two former US presidents – both named George – would jump into the 2016 battle for the Republican presidential nomination. For a nation that fought a war for independence from the hereditary power of the British Crown, in the person of another fellow named George, the concept of nominating a third Bush to run for the White House against a second Clinton (the former

Alert shoppers are accustomed to watching food prices go up and down. But a string of forces—from droughts to diseases—is raising the cost of a trip to the grocery store at a rapid clip. And it looks like it will be a while before the price pressure eases. Some of that pressure is coming from California—the source of roughly half the nation´s fruits and vegetables—where a long-running drought is forcing farmers and ranchers to cut production. After the driest year on record, large sections of farmland are expected to lay fallow this year as the Golden State copes with an ongoing water

Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) on Friday called for a Senate hearing into the dispute between Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) over cattle grazing. Heller described as "patriots" the people who came armed to Bundy’s ranch after the BLM began to seize his cattle for refusing to pay grazing fees and fines that now total more than $1 million. Heller debated the ranch standoff on a Nevada television station with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who has called the armed Bundy supporters “domestic terrorists.” "What senator Reid may call domestic terrorists, I call patriots," Heller said.

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after
