Judge bars lawyers from

The military judge presiding over the case of the Fort Hood shooter has blocked several key pieces of evidence that prosecutors said would explain the mindset of the soldier accused in the 2009 rampage. On Monday it was revealed that the judge has banned prosecutors from giving any speculation into Major Nidal Hasan’s motive in the shooting that left 13 dead and 30 others wounded, including the belief that he felt he had a ‘jihad duty’ to carry out the attack. Prosecutors had asked the judge to approve several witnesses and various evidence to support what they allege motivated Hasan

Who is this judge and why is he allowed to preside over this trial, given his obvious prejudice?

Th judge, Col Tara Osborn, wants to ensure that the workplace violence motive is ensured. This means that she has to bar terrorism as a motive. Workplace violence means that Major Hasan grew frustrated from having to return salutes and spit shine his dress shoes. "Allah Akbar! If I have to salute one more enlisted man, I´ll go crazy."

Remember, Obama and Holder do not want Islamic terrorists to be viewed as terrorists. Osama is dead and al-Qaeda is on the run. Or something,

If you don´t face the enemy, fight the enemy and kill the enemy, the enemy will only get stronger. Political correctness in the court room only makes the enemy stronger because others will see what they can do and what the consequences will be. His motive was to kill all non Muslims in jihad. In this case he will not get the death penalty I can almost guarantee it. It will be life in a day room with a prayer rug, direct tv, video games, college courses, and all the yogurt and goat cheese he can eat.

Major Hasan should have been executed two years ago. My late father, an infantry lieutenant in WWII, must be rolling in his grave. If a soldier deliberately killed his comrades during that war he would have faced an almost immediate firing squad.

Should another true and honest republic emerge on this planet some hundreds of years from now, I hope they restrict the vote to "White, male, land owners." Had we stayed with that construct, we would still have our republic today.

I do not ´hate´ or disparage those who fail to meet this definition any more than I hate children or foreigners.....it´s simply a matter of granting the franchise only to those who have some skin in the game.

.....and I´m ´flexible´ about the white part more than the male part.

Women, Gawd love them, always fall for the socialist bull-krap about sharing everything equally.

Good intentions do not feed the Bull Dog.

What is the difference what the murderer and the slaughter is called. There are a number of witnesses that saw the accused shoot and kill or injure dozens of people. They can call it a love-in for all I care. The man should be sent to jail for life or put to death. Is the judge going to instruct the jury to issue a not guilty verdict ? No matter what the Obama Administration mandates, anyone who was there knows the man is guilty of murder.

"In US Criminal law, means, motive, and opportunity is a popular cultural summation of the three aspects of a crime that must be established before guilt can be determined in a criminal proceeding."
I always thought it was ridiculous that evidence could be excluded. Evidence and prior history of behavior is certainly relevant. But now apparently idiot judges are excluding motive from criminal trials. It´s true we don´t exactly need to know WHY he did it... multiple witnesses saw him murder innocent soldiers. He should have been pushed up against a wall and summarily executed himself.

It’s been a long time since Johnny Carson slept in the tiny upstairs room in the modest little house at 306 S. 13th St. in Norfolk. Carson was born in Iowa and moved to Norfolk with his family in the 1930s. They lived in at least one other house in Norfolk before moving into to the white, wood-frame structure on 13th Street. Built in the 1920s, the house featured a small kitchen, dining room and living room on the main floor, while the second floor contained a bathroom, several bedrooms and an enclosed porch. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. The Right Rev. Gene Robinson said in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of Mr. Obama behind a podium at the event: “POTUS ‘preaches’ at the Easter prayer breakfast. Then, out of the blue, asks ME to close with prayer. OMG!” Newsmax said he also emphasized that the words he chose to close the breakfast
