Ten days after claiming the premeditated lynching of Emmett Till almost 60 years ago was the same thing as George Zimmerman shooting Trayvon Martin in what jurors determined was self-defense, Oprah Winfrey Thursday continued to inject racism into this issue. Appearing on CNN´s Anderson Cooper 360, Winfrey said, "It´s ridiculous to look at that case and not to think that race was involved" (video follows with transcript and commentary): ANDERSON COOPER, HOST: I spoke at length to Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey about the film and about race in America, particularly after the Trayvon Martin case. Here´s part of that interview. (BEGIN

Oprah obviuosly has a problem with white people. Even though it was white people that made her wealthy. Perhaps her problem is that she wakes up every day thinking how great it is to be rich and then realizes she is still black. And fat. I believe this probably bothers her.

Oprah should be worried about her own mortality. She is mrobidly obese (she can´t wear those Red Carpet containment systems all the time) and is the poster child for diabetes. Time to stop the racist blathering and get herself to a fat farm for a few months.

Well, of course race was involved!! If you followed the case, and not just the news recap, you know that St. Trademark racially profiled that "white ass cracker" George Zimmerman, before he beat the hell out of him. He also thought he was gay, another reason for beating him up that night.

Trayvon Martin situation, Mr Z has HELPED
the Black community as well as others in the area. Just racist drivel by Ms O. in conjunction with the other anti-civil-rights "leaders". Remember, civil rights applies to ALL people.

Of course it was - the testimony indicates Tvon targeted Zimmerman because he thought he was white. And the DOJ and libtard ´media´ targeted Zimmerman because of his name and they thought they could make everybody think he was white; even to inventing a new ´race´ called white-hispanic.

Poor Oprah...Maybe those hot lights have really fried her warped brain. She has gotten more stupid with time and her racism is pouring out of her. Can she not read? Zimmerman was tried in a court room, found innocent by a legal jury and the case is closed. Trayvon, the 17 year old baby was a thug in the making who sold drugs, was kicked out of school for burglary, dealt with guns and used racist language. He was a big dude who studied and practiced matial arts and would have quite likely killed Zimmerman had he not defended himself with his legally licensed firearm...none of this is good enough for Oprah...she wants blood because the dead guy was black and that´s supposed to automatically make him innocent....yeah right.

0prah is just too full of herself, and I consider her statement just ignorant; instead of portraying blacks as victims, she would do better to help the blacks improve their image. Until the blacks earn the respect they think they deserve, nothing will change. I have said this before, I have been robbed twice by black men, I have been assaulted once, and I have witnessed a black on white mugging. In my whole life these events were the most terrifying moments I have ever experienced; I do not consider myself racist, but experience tells me to treat blacks differently; Ms. Oprah, this is just logic and rationale.

And, 0prah is not helping this film. I really considered seeing "The Butler" until I saw her ignorance and arrogance. Her comment about "That is why 0bama is president, he does not appear in movies or go on Fox News." How arrogant and ignorant is this statement? I would never spend a dime to go see anything 0prah promotes .... ever. And I am hearing from many others that they do not intend to pay to see this movie because of 0prah and all her ignorant rants. She lied about the purse in Switzerland, and she got called out for it. 0prah needs to keep a lower profile, as she is really hurting the cause.

Her new movie, Driving Miss Oprah will have a racist plot wherein her Mexican driver is slowly poisoned so a less qualified black man can have the job and he ends up getting her pregnant. They both fight through the oppressive anti-abortion movement and she delivers early- before they can find a kindly black doctor to kill the baby. In time, the father leaves and the mother gives the baby to her own mother to raise. The child performs poorly in school and turns to a life if drugs and crime- eventually being beaten to death in prison over a misunderstanding of a game of spades. It is driving Miss Oprah crazy.

Oprah should use some of her money to fund a program to make black folks transparent, that way nobody would know that they are black folks and racism would go away. That makes about as much sense as black people like Oprah hashing out propaganda to the effect that everything bad that happens to black people is caused by racism that very few people other then black folks believe anymore.

If you think it´s all about being black, things will look that way. In this case, that´s the only way it would seem ridiculous to think that, despite all the facts about Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman and all the evidence of the events, that the outcome that night and the jury decision about it was influenced in any meaningful way by the racial attitude of Zimmerman or the jury.

You could, however, make a compelling case that black racism victimizes people like Trayvon Martin by making them out to be some kind of race victim for acting out a black definition of acceptability as a tough talking, tough acting would-be gangster engaging in racially motivated violence, drugs, and crime.

They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

I began reading the entirety of the first section of the New York Times at nine years old, and continued that practice, more or less, for decades.(snip) ...the power of reverence, intrinsic to what I call the “cascade” of The Times: the near avalanche-like flow and distribution of information through electronic and print networks: through like-minded network newscasts, magazines, local newspaper s, blogs, daytime talk TV, late-night entertainment, statements at media award ceremonies, the celebrity Twitterverse, etc. The cascade rolls through Saturday Night Live, Jon Stewart, The New Yorker, the mouths of third-grade teachers, Elmo, Madonna and Susan Sarandon …through

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
