Million Muslim March Planned
in DC on Anniversary of 9-11

Breitbart, by Larry O´Connor

Original Article

Posted By:Watlines, 8/15/2013 8:25:28 AM

A group called The American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) is planning a one million Muslims march to Washington D.C. on September 11th. The timing of the group´s march is seen by many as tasteless (to say the least) considering it is scheduled for the anniversary of the worst domestic massacre in American history perpetrated in the name of Islam. AMPAC ups the tasteless quotient by issuing "demands" for the American government.

#2 I respectfully disagree - they are incredibly arrogant - as are most other low life special interest groups catered to by this low life administration (and too many of both sides of the aisle in congress)

Is this the beginning of another fabricated racial front? Is this how the Obama cabal finally wears us down? Is this what Huma has been working on during her absence? Has this group been granted a permit?

There are more questions; those will do for starters.

Think what he could do with national chaos; Martial Law, suspend the Constitution, suspend elections, continue dismantling of America.

Fox News reported this morning that they have changed the name to "Million American March Against Fear on 9/11/13." That will really improve relations. s/o As has been proven many times, 0bama has embolded those who are against us, even though this is done with the pretext that it is a "march against fear." Their audacity is just stunning. You have to wonder who in the White House might have may have suggested this or are involved in some way. I wouldn´t be surprised at anything coming from that anti-American crew.

#16 - Coy860 - Yes, I think that is a great idea. Of course, organization is everything, but we already have that with the Tea Party. About twenty-five years ago Billy Graham was leading a Crusade in New England and was going to be at Hartford Civic Center for a weekend. I had the children in a little Christian school in Connecticut, and was really surprised to learn about all the organizational effort (lot of around-the-kitchen table stuff) that went on for a couple of months to make the crusade a success. Any remnants of Christian coalition out there? The March for Life people? The youth rallies similar to the one in Brazil out there? With all the means of social communication, it should be so much easier to pull it off.

Maybe we could aim for Thanksgiving in NYC; they can have D.C. - Thanksgiving is a typical American holiday and we could give thanks at Ground Zero that our country is still here. It would be about all faiths and no faiths who want to give thanks that we still live in a country where we have freedom to practice or not practice our beliefs. But there should be a lot of praying going along with the organizational effort to make it a success because you know there´ll be lots who will want it to fail.

I know my idea sounds sort of like Judy and Mickey saying if only they had a barn they´d have a show or something, but always our country has been a melting pot of religions (March for Life has all faiths), and nationalities and races, so it really would be a positive thing for our country to show how united we are - any way we can. So I mean all faiths - Jews, Muslims, Hindi, atheists, Protestants and Catholics -just showing respect for those who lost their lives a couple of years ago. Most of us know someone, or know someone who knows someone who was effected by 9/11´s and it´s important to show them respect.

I was a good loser four years ago. “In the grand scheme of history,” I wrote the day after Barack Obama’s election as president, “four decades is not an especially long time. Yet in that brief period America has gone from the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. to the apotheosis of Barack Obama…” I acknowledged his soaring oratory, his cool, hard-to-ruffle temperament, and his near faultless campaign organization. Yet the question confronting the country is not who was the better candidate four years ago. It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. He has not.

The impasse that shut down much of the federal government for 16 days has left Americans in the sort of throw-the-bums-out mood that presaged two recent tumultuous elections in which control of the House of Representatives shifted from one party to the other. In a nationwide USA TODAY/Princeton Survey Research Poll, just 4% of those surveyed — equal to the margin of error — say Congress would be changed for the worse if nearly every member was replaced next year. Nearly half say it would work better. About four in 10 say a wholesale overhaul wouldn´t make much difference.

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day.
