During Osama Raid;
´I Can’t Watch This
Entire Thing,´ Obama Said

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Reggie Love says he and President Obama played cards during the Osama bin Laden raid, and that the president told him, "I can´t watch this entire thing." (Snip for video)"“Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [President Obama] was like, ‘I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing,’ We must have played 15 games of spades,” said Love at a public event. Love was Obama´s "body man," and spent much time with his boss while he worked for Obama at the White House.

Key word is "watch"...reminds all that with a drone overhead, everyone in the NMCC loop--WH Situation room, State Dept., CIA, Pentagon, AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM--could watch the murders of 4 Americans and assault on over 30 others, real time...no one was sent to their rescue..

Funny...Love details the day bin Laden died with two major deviations from previous accounts. He says they never left the White House, in spite of widespread accounts that 0 was on the course until 30 minutes before the raid commenced, and that he and 0 spent their time in the private dining room playing 15 games of "Spades", in spite of earlier stories that 0 went right to the Situation Room.

Also a heretofore untold story of the Finding of the Birth Certificate. Apparently it was in the White House, all along.

Snopes in gonna need a HUGE edit after this.

Gutless. A Commander in Chief that sends people on a mission that could easily produce a bloody battle with American casualties, and he doesn´t have the stomach to watch it and take an active part. Doesn´t have the courage to be in a position where he may be forced to accept direct responsibility if things go South. There are thousands of 18 and 19 year old kids serving in the military with exponentially more guts than their commander. As a retired G.I. it turns my stomach. I´ve tried to keep my disapproval centered on his policies, not the person, but this is personal, I detest the individual in this instance.

Reggie inadvertently answers the question about where Obama was during Benghazi. At approximately 6 minutes into the video in response to a question of what life was like in the WH he says one thing he learned that when Obama is in the WH he learned "...that come 6:30 I always knew that he was going to have dinner with the family..." This pretty well describes Obama´s whereabouts on Sept 11, 2012 when the Benghazi facility was under attack and the American´s were asking for help.

Equally damning is the performance of the interviewer, Jim Newton, Editor at Large of the LA Times. This supposed "journalist" is too busy being a sycophant to offer any substantive followup questions to some of what Love says. His "performance as a journalist" goes a long way in explaining why the LA Times hid the tape of Obama´s comments at Rashid Khadili´s farewell party in Chicago in 2003.

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. It is quite possible that the ACA is

It’s been nine years since the Supreme Court, expressing their decision in the writings of John Paul Stevens, decided to fundamentally change the Takings Clause of the constitution in the case of Kelo v. On this auspicious anniversary, a diarist at Redstate decides to take a fresh look at how wonderfully that exercise in freedom worked out for the citizens, and what they received in exchange for their liberties. WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will leave Tuesday for a four-nation trip to Asia, looking to recharge a focus on the region, an ambitious initiative that’s been sidetracked by domestic politics and international conflicts elsewhere. Yet even as Obama attempts to boost his effort to emphasize U.S. interest in Asia, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Ukraine is complicating efforts to reassure Asian nations _ which share the region with an increasingly assertive China - that the U.S. is committed to their security. The administration’s efforts to refocus U.S. policy toward Asia were already being questioned in the region with the

One of the Obama administration’s favorite themes is the idea that Republicans have been waging a “war on women.” Though Democrats may overestimate the appeal of this canard, the notion that troglodyte conservatives seek to send American women back to the 19th century has become a form of conventional wisdom, especially in the liberal mainstream media. But though that war is a piece of fakery rooted in the confusion between political liberalism and gender equality, there is little doubt about the reality of another war on women: the one that is being waged by left-wing ideologues against any female Republican

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
