Sen. Harkin on Illegals: ‘I Just
Don’t Classify Them as Criminals’

Cybercast News Service, by Eric Scheiner

Original Article

Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), a federal lawmaker, said he separates illegal aliens from criminals even though “it’s obvious that they broke the laws and did things that were criminal and they shouldn’t.” At an Aug. 2 immigration forum in Ames, Iowa, Harkin explained his reasoning. “I separate out people who came here illegally from people who are criminals," he said. "Now it’s obvious that they broke laws and did things that were criminal and they shouldn’t." “But I’m just saying simply because they came here to work – to provide for their family. They’ve broken

Comments:
And neither does 0bama or any other Democrat. They should be jailed for their refusal to enforce the rule of law. I guess with his logic if they robbed a bank to "provide for their family" that would be okay too.

fine. We´ll not call them criminals. Try ´foreign invaders´, rather like the pilots of the Japanese air craft at Pearl Harbor. I wasn´t around yet, but if the pilots of the torpedo bombers were offered food stamps, free college tuition, and subsidized housing for their extended families, I had not heard of it.
No. We opened fire upon them. They were foreign invaders.
And we should do the same. ANYONE coming over that border without our permission should expect nothing more than to be the target of gunfire. And the same applies to those already inside the nation´s borders.
Don´t arrest them. Shoot them.
End of story.

I believe that dereliction of duty is a crime.

How should we classify Mr. Harkin?

Using Harkin´s rationale, every American citizen should get at least 2 free passes to break the law.

When does Harkin diagnose criminality? First murder, second. First armed robbery, third offense? How about jail-breakers. They only want to be free!

Who care if Harkin classifies illegal aliens as criminals, that not the point, the point is that they have no legal right to be here and if the Obama administration was effectively enforcing the immigration laws the illegal aliens would be going back to their home countries. The same goes for the G. W. Bush Administration.

If you were to ask Harkin how he does classify illegal aliens, if he were truthful, he would tell you as prospective Democrat voters. That´s the bottom line on all this for the liberal Democrats.

Then, take his spare wallet with his alternative FYR passport ~ you´re not supposed to know about that BTW ~ and go write some checks at the bank across the street.

All good fun.

Being in the U.S. without valid papers is a violation of the civil code, not the criminal code. So technically, being an illegal alien doesn´t make them criminals.

What makes so many of them criminals is the disproportionate tendency there seems to be among them to commit criminal violations after committing the civil infraction of being here without authorization.

Let´s ask the victims of illegals that were raped, robbed, or got involved in an accident with one that did not have a driver´s license or insurance or the families of the ones murdered, how they feel about that statement.

Let´s ask the employees that lost their jobs so the employer could hire an illegal for less money, no benefits, or pay taxes.

Let´s ask a qualified student who loses a seat in college for a minority student with lesser graders.

In the demonrat passed Senate bill, illegals can have up to 3 felonies before they will no longer be considered citizen material. You get that? You´re not a criminal until you have over 3 felonies.

Support of for the healthcare law stands at 26 percent in a poll conducted by The Associated Press. The AP-GFK poll released Friday showed little change from a January AP poll that found 27 percent of the public supported the law. Opposition to the law stands at 43 percent. Opposition peaked shortly after the law´s passage in 2010 at 50 percent. The AP poll finds that, while support for the law has diminished in the last few years, opposition hasn´t drastically increased. That is because a large section of the public, 30 percent, now say they neither support nor oppose the law. That

By day, California Democrat Leland Yee was an outspoken gun control advocate. But by night, he is alleged to have been a broker for Russian arms dealers to arm Islamic militants, for piles of cold, hard cash. That dual life hasn’t been lost on Yee’s enemies on gun control. Through its tears and between its heavy sobs at having a gun controller so ruthlessly exposed, the LA Times reports: The complaint says Yee described his approach to arms dealing as “agnostic.” “People want to get whatever they want to get. Do I care? No, I don’t care. People need certain things,” Yee said,

Some of us who don’t belong to the Beltway’s elite read Barack Obama early on. He is rigidly ideological, he knows nothing about national security, and will be bullied by other, more experienced world leaders. Some inside the nation’s political sinkhole did too — Hillary Clinton’s “3 AM” commercial argued that Obama wasn’t ready to be the leader of the free world. I’m no fan of Clinton’s, and honestly she isn’t any more prepared to lead than Obama was, but that ad was dead-on. When Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope Francis a little more than a year ago, the first thing that struck those who knew him well was his unexpected, beatific smile. “In Argentina, he didn’t smile like that,” Sergio Rubin, the pope’s biographer, said this week at a conference sponsored by the Ethics and Public Policy Center. “That was the big surprise.” Since then, the pope has mostly kept on smiling — in homilies, in audiences, in meetings with the homeless and the poor. If you look at the pictures from Francis’ meeting with President Obama on Thursday, though, the smile is there only some of the time.
