Dear Lawrence O´Donnell, Don´t
Mansplain to Me About Russia

New Republic, by JULIA IOFFE

Original Article

Posted By:Drive, 8/9/2013 7:03:31 AM

Tonight, I went on Lawrence O´Donnell´s show, and Lawrence O´Donnell yelled at me. Or, rather, he O´Reilly´d at me. That O´Donnell interrupted and harangued and mansplained and was generally an angry grandpa at me is not what I take issue with, however. What bothers me is that, look: your producers take the time to find experts to come on the show, answer your questions, and, hopefully, clarify the issue at hand.

He´s an ignorant bully. Hugh Hewitt once eviscerated O´Donnell with questions he couldn´t answer on terror and the Middle East. It seems the only book on the subject O´Donnell had ever cracked open was one of Woodward´s anonymously sourced political soap operas.

A liberal expert is using print to get back at ODonnell for being such a raving loon. He is as bad as Tweetie and yet it is OReilly she compares him with.
I did like how she compared ODonnell´s ravings to how she was treated in Russia by Russian interviewers when she was talking about USA.
That had to sting. Oh..bad word alert at end of article.
Now I know you will read it.lol.

Fun to watch the foaming at the mouth types fight over insignificant minutia. That Lawrence O´donnell is one creepy dude. Perhaps he watched too many episodes of The Twilight Zone. He seems to be in a trance, wants to put his viewers in a trance, as he stares at the camera insidiously while he makes his points...."come and join my cult".

kinda funny that O´Donnell was asserting that Putin controls the media but apparently fails to see how BO control US media.

A leader in a totalitarian regime never needs, "needs", to issue an edict or produce and distribute talking points.

Everyone knows what he wants.

Or, if there is doubt, inevitable botches which land the bothchee in the hinterlands, Siberia or Siberian-like wildernesses, sometimes called gulags or labor camps or "disappeared", will re-inforce the point.

Ioffe sure has her panties in a knot, though, and her mouth in the gutter.

As disgusting as he is, O’Donnel would fit right into the bad side of Fox TV News. Petty conflict creators like O´Donnell, O´Reilly and all TV wrestlers, fake argue for big bucks, then go out and have a drink together after their stupid performances. Fox News could hire the self bloated O´Donnell. He practices what Fox preaches. Fox has their hosts, conservative guests with one or two smiling Marxists or socialists, like Juan or Alan. Throw in some dip, an obscure commie organizer or racial protestor. The point is ... they all argue, interrupt each other and nobody learns anything. And, the host NEVER concludes one single point for either "side". A pointless daily format. Watching these Fox guest panel segments is like going to a bad dinner party where one nice appearing guest turns out to be a member of the American Communist Party, no less. Graying statists like Beckell and Geraldo is bad enough. But, with the exception of Andrew Napolitano, Michelle Malkin and John Stossel, the rest of Fox staff is "restrained conservative" with topics they’ll never discuss or question. Think of Obama’s birth, social security and college certificate information. Worse, Fox prohibits the appearances of life risking patriots like Islamic scholar Robert Spencer and his New York counterpart, Pamela Geller. Does Fox have supremacist Muslim investors? Now it´s time for the unparalleled leader, the wonderful FoxTVNews, to clean up its act !

Secretary of State John Kerry evidently runs a tight ship, given the paucity of leaks that emerge from his office. So we know he is organized and disciplined. He is also an energetic risk-taker, jumping into high-wire negotiations with Iran, and forcing the Israelis and Palestinians to the negotiating table -- enterprises that could likely end in failure and ruin his reputation. This is a man with character. By contrast, his predecessor at State, Hillary Clinton, appeared to take few risks and has been accused of using the position of secretary of state merely to burnish her resume in preparation

Crimea is in Moscow’s hands. Some of Kiev’s army has surrendered parts of eastern Ukraine without a fight. And now there are signs that Russian President Vladimir Putin may have picked his next targets: First a small breakaway state in Moldova, west of Ukraine, where thousands of Moscow’s troops are already stationed; then its close neighbor Odessa, Ukraine’s third-largest city and its largest remaining port, where pro-Russian and pro-government groups are tangling. If forces loyal to Putin can successfully disrupt Odessa, it could effectively cut the county of Ukraine in two.

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

How do you ensure that you won’t be ostracized, denounced, or fired if you are a media celebrity, captain of industry, or high public official? For some, sexist banter is certainly no problem. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either. President Obama tosses around “sweetie” as he wishes. No problem with that. No one believes Barack could be condescending to women.

With Easter soon approaching, the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday drew parallels between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of President Obama’s political career. Joining the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Mr. Sharpton said that his message for this Easter is that “no matter what the world may do to you unfairly, no matter how you’re crucified — nailed to the cross at home, or in your personal relationships, or on the job — that you can rise if you don’t lose yourself during the hard times and the challenges.” The reverend went on to say that Christ endured so much humiliation and unearned suffering leading up to his death,

FORT WORTH — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis will undergo neck surgery today, her campaign said Tuesday. “After experiencing shoulder and right arm pain in recent weeks, Sen. Davis will have a routine surgical procedure to remove bone spurs and degenerative discs that are creating compression on the nerves in her neck,” campaign spokesman Zac Petkanas said in a statement Tuesday. “This is a common issue experienced by runners and endurance athletes,” he said. Davis, of Fort Worth, will undergo the outpatient surgery at the Fort Worth Brain and Spine Institute. Dr. Thomas Ellis will perform the
