Obama administration using
housing department to compel
diversity in neighborhoods

Fox News, by Doug McKelway

In a move some claim is tantamount to social engineering, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory. The policy is called, "Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing." It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it. HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan unveiled the federal rule at the NAACP convention in July. "Unfortunately, in too many of our hardest hit communities, no matter how hard

This will backfire. At a minimum it will dilute the voting block. As poor minorities are moved out of inner cities and entrepreneurs move in to gentrify those neighborhoods, the congressional districts representing those areas are no longer a sure-thing for the left. Fiscally conservative, Constitutionalist republicans can take these seats. Some of the poor minorities that are relocated will, in fact, emulate their better-off neighbors - not all but some - which will further erode the poor minority voting block.

I have absolutely no issue with a black family moving in next door, but I have a big issue if that family is nothing more than pawns in a racially charged social engineering experiment.

Last time we did this we almost brought down the entire global economy.

Mortgage companies were forced to create mortgage backed ´derivatives´ which were ´bundled´ and sold world-wide.

Not because they were bad people but, rather, because they were trying to find a way to deal with the government rules requiring that they finance people who, clearly, couldn´t make the payments.

They were then called "Predatory Lenders" for doing what THE FREAKING GOVERNMENT forced them to do.

This whole escapade did so much damage to the global economy that Barky wants to do it all again.

Well...of course he does.

Years ago I bought a lovely condo in a nice neighborhood. Soon after Hud took over the few foreclosures. The new residence had no skin in the game. They were not home owners and they paid what they could afford for rent. They totally trashed the place. I would come home with water running into my house from the ceiling because the tenants would forget they had water running and leave the house Every day it was something new. I finally moved out when The place burnt down. The neighbor upstairs would leave the young teenage girl home alone. The girl put catfish in a pan of oil to cook,, got a call. Left to meet her friends forgot about the catfish and the place burned down.

One county buys foreclosures, rehabs them, and sells the houses to low income buyers for the assessed value. Thanks to foreclosures, the value of every home in the neighborhood is lowered. This will keep them low.

They already mandate this in California. Every new development has to have low income housing built within it. My master planned HOA community has it. Also, they already have HUD garbage renters in houses in just about every nice neighborhood--the owners get a hefty check from the gov to install low income trash. These situations are when the hated HOA´s come in handy.

Climate change’s latest casualty appears to be fish — or more specifically, fish brains — as researchers say the carbon dioxide that’s being absorbed into the ocean is causing the scaly creatures to lose their survival instincts. In other words, the fish are losing their minds, The Daily Mail reported. The acid from atmospheric carbon dioxide seeps into sea waters, dissolves and ultimately lowers the pH balance, researchers said. The acidic waters then hamper the fishes’ sensory systems, so they’re not able to distinguish between smells any longer, the scientists went on. When the acid levels get really high, the fish lose their
